A study on the storage performance of gabion weir for the supply of raw water for artificial recharge (대수층함양 원수공급을 위한 돌망태 취수보의 저류성능)

  • 하천수의 수심을 유지하기 위하여 설치된 콘크리트 취수보 대신 강자갈이나 쇄석을 채움재로 하는 돌망태를 사용하게 되면 토사퇴적으로 인한 건천화나 상, 하류 수생태계 단절과 같은 문제를 어느 정도 감소시킬 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 자갈접촉산화작용에 의한 수질개선과 공사비 절감 효과 등의 장점이 있다. 그러나 돌망태는 투수성이므로 불투수성인 콘크리트 보다 저류측면에서 불리하다. 콘크리트 취수보에서의 흐름은 보 정점의 형상, 보의 폭, 높이, 그리고 월류수심에 좌우되며, 베르누이 방정식과 연속방정식에 의해 방류량 산정식을 유도하고, 유량계수와 같은 실험상수를 결정하여 방류량을 계산한다. 돌망태 취수보의 흐름은 보의 높이, 보의 길이, 보의 상류수심 외에 채움재의 형상, 입경, 배치상태가 흐름에 영향을 미친다. 따라서 콘크리트 취수보에 적용되었던 기존의 방류량 산정식을 그대로 적용할 수 없다. 돌망태 보의 통과류는 실험상수가 포함된 비선형 수두손실방정식으로 표현할 수 있다. 실험상수는 비표면적의 크기를 의미하는 채움재의 평균동수반경와 관계되며, 평균동수반경은 채움재 입자의 형상으로 부터 구할 수 있다. 따라서 실험을 통하여 채움재 입자의 형상과 크기에 따른 실험상수와 평균동수반경의 관계를 구하면 비선형 수두손실방정식으로부터 통과류의 방류량을 계산할 수 있게 된다. 본 연구는 돌망태 취수보가 대수층함양 원수 공급시설물로서 타당한가를 평가하기 위하여 수행되었다. 콘크리트 취수보의 월류량 계산은 기존의 방류량 산정식을 이용하였으며, 돌망태 취수보는 실험상수와 평균동수반경의 기존관계식을 이용하여 통과류의 방류량을 계산하였다. 이와 같이 계산된 각각의 수심-방류량 관계로 부터 수심을 비교하였다. 동일한 유량조건에서 돌망태 취수보의 상류수심은 콘크리트 취수보보다 작게 계산되었다. 상류수심은 돌망태 채움재 입자의 크기가 작을수록 증가하여, 돌망태 취수보는 채움재의 입자크기가 작을수록 저류성능이 개선됨을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 돌망태 취수보는 채움재의 입경이 작을수록 콘크리트 취수보의 저류수준에 접근할 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다.

  • Ship can not sail without water. Ships sail along different routes with different natural conditions. Thus ships sailing at different sea areas have their respective characteristics. The northern sea area and the southern one of China have different characteristics, that is to song, the sea in the northern area is shallow and that in the southern area is deep, Chinese ships developed into different types in order to adapt to this.

부산항 신항 증심준설 1-2단계 시행에 따른 하계조류 특성변화

  • 과거 국내의 선사들의 주력선대는 8,000TEU급 이었으나, 현재 10,000TEU급 이상 선박의 대형화가 추세이다. 부산항 신항의 경우 2006년 1월 개항당시 4,000~7,000TEU급선박을 대상으로 수심 15m로 항만을 건설하였다. 10,000TEU급 이상의 선박이 안전하게 기항하려면 수심이 최소 16m 이상 확보되어야 하며, 이에 세계적인 컨테이너선 대형화에 발맞춰 수심 17m까지 증심준설 공사를 추진하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 조류관측 자료를 토대로 부산항 신항 1-2단계 증심준설에 다른 부산신항만 해역의 하계조류 특성변화를 파악하였다.

The serial oceanographic observation data and coastal station data from NFRID, and the atmosphere data from KMA were used in order to find out the relationship between them The highest water temperature, salinity and weather factor were recorded in Aug, and the lowest of them in Feb. As the water deepens, the maximum time leg in water temperature and the minimum time leg in salinity. Water temperature have the maximum in Oct, the minimum in Apr at 75m of the 311-07 station with 100m depth water temperature (WT)-air temperature, WT-precipitation (Preci.) and salinity (Sal)-wind speed (WS) were in direct proportion, but WT-WS, Sal-AT and Sal-Preci in inverse proportion Water temperature and salinity I-ave time leg at the same depth the maximum had more the delay of $2\~4$ months at a depth if 20 meters than at the surface in all stations except for salinity at 307-05.

  • In Southern Sea of Korea, there are upwelling area where artificial seamount were built and the environment variations (temperature, salinity, nutrient and current) of before and after built seamount were observed between 2002 and 2007. In 2002, before the seamount was built, there had stratification at 20-30m. And in 2007, seamount was built, stratification of the seamount at the front and back of it were changed by 10-40 m and 20-30 m, respectively. To know the reason of this results, we used temperature and salinity using Brunt-Vaisala Frequency and horizontal current using vertical shear and relative vorticity. They showed upwelling was mainly reason that changed the ocean environment.

  • Ocean waves passing through the underwater bar at a shallow depth experience a shoaling effect caused by decreasing water depth, a nonlinear interaction therein owing to steepening wave slope, and a wave dispersion effect as the water depth increases again. Because this problem includes many complicated phenomena, it is used as a good example of validating a theoretical development or a CFD method for ocean wave applications. Validation is performed mainly for regular waves by comparing the wave elevation patterns in the time domain with the experimental results. In this study, the spectral evolution of wave spectrum is investigated in the frequency domain when a CFD method such as OpenFOAM is applied for this problem. In particular, the effects of initial phase conditions as well as the nonlinear interaction among harmonic waves are studied.

  • This paper implements a system that monitors human body lifting information in the event of a marine accident. The monitoring system performs ultrasonic communication through a lifting device controller that transmits underwater environment information, and LoRa communication is performed on the water to provide GPS information within 10 km to the control center or mother ship. The underwater lifting controller transmits pneumatic sensor, gyro sensor, and temperature sensor information. In an environment where the underwater conditions increase by one atmosphere of water pressure every 10m in depth, and the amount of air in the instrument decreases by half compared to land, a model of a 60kg underwater mannequin is used. Using one 38g CO2 cartridge in the lifting appliance SMB(Surface Maker Buoy), carry out a lifting appliance discharge test based on the water level rise conditions within 10 sec. Underwater communication constitutes a data transmission environment using a 2,400-bps ultrasonic sensor from a depth of 40m to 100m. The monitoring signal aims to ensure the safety and safe human structure of the salvage worker by providing water depth, water temperature, and directional angle to rescue workers on the surface of the water.

Uncertainty Analysis of BAG by GNSS Correction (해저지형 표면자료의 GNSS 보정방법에 따른 불확실도 연구)

  • In the recent marine sector, the development and standardization regarding S-100, which is the universal hydrographical data model standard for development of marine space information, was progressed, and for the effectiveness of marine chart production work and the multi-purpose use of water level data in S-100, S-102(Bathymetric Surface grid) standard development and various studies of BAG formats combined with water level and uncertainty, property information is being progressed. Since the water level information that is important in the operation of the ship is provided based on S-102, the calibration method of the location information when producing S-102 is an important factor in deciding the water level. In this study, the hydrographical surveying was conducted by piloting the standardized method for the production of S-102 in Korea, and have compared the accuracy of water level information according to the GNSS post treatment calibration method. As a result of comparing the water level in 2 places in the rocky terrain of the study area, the northern water level of Namu-do was shown as DL 0.79~0.83m, the eastern water level of Daeho-do was DL 12.63~12.91m, and the horizontal position errors of the intermittent sunshine water level were confirmed to be within 1m. As a result, the intermittent sunshine water level according to the location calibration method when producing the BAG was confirmed that it was in the available range for a ship's safe voyage. However, the accuracy verification for the location of the ship when conducting hydrographical surveying was judged that there is a need for a various additional study about regional characteristics and environment factor.

The Prediction of Hypoxia Occurrence in Dangdong Bay (당동만의 빈산소 발생 예측)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the physical characteristics of marine environment, and to predict the probability of the occurrence of hypoxia in the Dangdong bay. We predicted hypoxia using the logistic regression model analysis by observing the water temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen concentration. The analysis showed that the Brunt-Väisälä frequency which was shallow than the deep bay entrance, was higher inside the bay due to a lesser amount of fresh water inflow from the inner side of the bay, and density stratification was formed. The Richardson number, and Brunt-Väisälä frequency were very high occasionally from June to September; however, after September 2, the stratification had a tendency to decrease. Analysis of dissolved oxygen, water temperature, and salinity data observed in Dangdong bay showed that the dissolved oxygen concentration in the bottom layer was mostly affected by the temperature difference (dt) between the surface layer and bottom layer. Meanwhile, when the depth difference (dz) was set as a fixed variable, the probability of the occurrence of hypoxia varied with respect to the difference in water temperature. The depth difference (dz) was calculated to be 5 m, 10 m, 15 m, 20 m, and the difference in water temperature (dt) was found to be greater than 70 % at 8℃, 7℃, 5℃, and 3℃. This indicated that the larger the difference in depth in the bay, the smaller is the temperature difference required for the generation of hypoxia. In particular, the place in the bay, where the water depth dif erence was approximately 20 m, was found to generate hypoxia.

A Study on Waterfront Assessment mathod using Hydraulic and Water Quality Factors In River (하천 내 수질 및 수리 인자를 이용한 친수평가 방안 연구)

  • 최근 수상 레져활동 등의 활성화 및 4대강 사업에 의한 하천의 수면 및 수심 증가, 친수시설 등의 설치로 친수활동이 빠르게 증가하는 추세이다. 친수활동의 증가로 인한 수난 사고 및 수체와 접촉으로 인한 질병 감염 등의 안전성 문제도 증가하고 있다. 현재 국내에서 익사 등의 수난 사고는 2012년 기준으로 474건에 달하고 있으며 오염된 수체와 접촉으로 인해 질병에 감염되는 해외사례가 과거 1978년에서 2002년 동안 445건에 달하고 있다. 이로 인해 친수활동의 안전성을 보장받을 수 있는 친수지구 및 친수공간이 더욱 더 요구되어지고 있다. 친수지구 및 친수공간의 안전성을 보장 받기 위해서는 친수활동에 대한 평가가 이루어져야 하지만 현재 친수활동의 제재와 제한의 기준이 명확하지 않다. 하천공간 내에서의 친수평가는 일반적으로 수질적 인자들을 중심으로 산정되고 있으며, 그에 비해 유속 등과 같은 수리적 인자에 대한 고려는 미흡한 실정이다. 우리나라에서는 다기능 보의 운영에 따라 본류의 수심 및 유속 등이 급격히 변화될 수 있으며, 이는 친수활동에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 수 있기 때문에 친수평가를 위해서는 수질적 인자 뿐만 아니라 수리적 인자도 종합적으로 고려할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 친수평가를 위해 고려할 수 있는 다양한 수질 및 수리적 인자와 국내 외에서 적용된 친수활동지수 산정에 관한 사례를 소개하고자 하였다.
