RBI(Risk-Based Inspection)는 각각의 설비별로 위험등급 또는 위험도를 산정하고 이에 따라 검사의 우선 순위, 방법, 주기 및 일정계획 등을 수립하여 기술적인 근거에 의해 종합적이고 체계적인 검사를 수행하는 것이다. 이와 같이 RBI는 위험도를 정성적/정량적으로 평가하여 위험의 대부분을 내포하고 있는 30％ 내외의 소수의 설비를 찾아내어 이에 대해 최적의 방법으로 인적, 물적 자원을 집중적으로 투입함으로써 안전성 확보와 함께 경제성을 추구하는 효율적인 기법이라 할 수 있다.(중략)

The construction of underground structures such as oil and food storage caverns are recently increasing in our country. The stability of those underground caverns are greatly influenced by their shape and size. In this study therefore, the effect that the shape of an underground cavern have on its stability were analyzed in terms of safety factor. To this end, caverns with 5 different shapes were investigated and sensitivity analyses were performed based on rock class, overburden, and lateral earth pressure coefficient. The proper amount of shotcrete and rockbolt as supports of a cavern was also assumed based on the shape and site of the cavern and rock conditions. This study is expected to be helpful in designing and evaluating the stability of caverns in future.

김해 국제공항 2단계 확장 공사 중 구 국제선 청사 발파해체공사"는 5.5초의 기폭시차를 두고 약 7초간에 구조물의 붕괴를 유도하여, 단기간에 안전하며 최대의 효율을 낼 수 있는 발파해체공법을 적용하여 시공하였다. 이에 따라 발파해체공사의 공법, 공정, 세부 현황 및 결과, 발파공해영향권에 대해 분석, 평가 하였다. 구 국제선청사 구조물은 3층 높이로 저층 구조물에 해당하고 구조물의 특성상 Span 간격이 길고 충고가 높다. 또한 지반이 액상한계점 상태까지 도달하여 구조안전진단 결과 위험등급인 D등급으로 판정되었다. 본 대상건물과 같이 충고는 낮지만, 구조 안전성 측면에서 위험 요소를 가지고 있으므로 발파공법을 적용하여 해체를 실시하였다.

발전로 계통설계와 ASME Code의 적용과의 상호연관성을 이해하기 위하여, 관련되는 내용으 로서, 계통설계의 개요, 원자력발전소의 기기 및 구조물의 등급분류 및 실례를 개괄적으로 살펴 보았다. 앞에서 본 바와 같이 계통설계 결과로서 부여되는 기기 및 구조물의 등급은 바로 적용 ASME Code 또는 기타 산업기술기준을 결정하는 근거가 되는데, 이것은 원자력 규제법규나 지침 등에 근거하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같은 내용에 대한 정확한 이해는 각 기기나 구조물의 설계에 꼭 필요함은 물론, 원자력발전소의 인허가를 위시한 규제업무를 충분한 안전성을 확보 하면서, 합리적으로 수행하는데 매우 유용하리라고 판단된다. 뿐만 아니라 앞으로 국내에서 독 자적인 기술기준을 마련하여 적용하고자 할 때 이러한 사항들이 일관성 있고 균형있게 반영되 어야 할 것으로 생각된다.

The fire risk and fire safety of four types of wood were comprehensively evaluated according to Chung's equation-XII. White ash, willow, fraxinus mandshurica, and sagent cherry trees were selected as test specimens. A cone calorimetery (ISO 5660-1) was used to examine the combustion characteristics of the test piece, and finally, the fire risk rating (FRR) was predicted using the fire risk index-XII (FRI-XII). The predicted fire performance index-X (FPI-X) and fire growth index-X (FGI-X) ranged from 469.03 to 1109.73 s²/kW and 0.0009 to 0.0280 kW/s², respectively. Additionally, the fire performance index-XI (FPI-XI) and fire growth index-XI (FGI-XI) ranged from 0.41 to 0.97 and 1.11 to 3.11, respectively. The fire risk index-XII (FRI-XII), representing a fire risk rating, showed that the fire risk of frasxinus mandsurica tree (FM) was very high at 7.60 (fire risk rating: D). And it was compared with Chung's equation-IX, fire risk index-IX (FRI-IX). The fire risk ratings according to FRI-IX and FRI-XII were generally high for willow and frasxinus mandsurica trees. Additionally, the results of FRI-XII and FRI-IX had a similar relationship, and the size of each fire safety rating closely matched each other.

This study investigates the effect of organic certification of apples on consumer preference in China as a way to support the expanded export of Korean apples to China. A choice experiment was designed to analyze the apple consumption in China. A total of 298 Chinese consumers answered the survey, and multinomial logit models were used to analyze the results. Organic certification was identified as an important determinant of consumer preference for apples in China, affecting both the evaluation and choice of country of origin. The results also indicated that Korean organic certification significantly increased the probability of Chinese consumers choosing Korean apples. Thus, organic certification by the Korean government should be strengthened to promote apple exports to China, plus the results of this study may provide useful information to promote agricultural product exports and improve the organic certification system.

The Housing Performance Rating System, enacted on 9 January 2006, an active measure containing provisions on improved quality and advanced performance of the Fire-Protection System for equalized ability to secure safety of life to some extent, is a desirable policy in fire-safety regard. The study of theoretical background of each performance rating section for the purpose of active and wide application of The Fire-Protection System category of the Housing Performance Rating System currently in effect internally. In accordance with the result of the study, the reform measures for the currently detailed evaluation criteria have been suggested to improve the performance of the Fire-Protection area of The Housing Performance Rating System currently being in force based on the assumption of prior settlement of the following; upward settlement of the point distribution standards on the performance ratings of each head backed up by an institutional Government policy with overriding priority; and urgently enacted Fire-Protection related laws and regulations.
