  • 원자력발전소에 사용되는 모든 시스템은 IEEE에서 최고 수준의 안전도인 CLASS 1E로 분류된다. 그중에서 안전계통은 원자력발전소 안전에 관련한 모든 분야를 관리하는 계통이다. 산업이 발전함에 따라 안전계통 또한 그 규모와 복잡성이 높아지고 있고, 이에 적용되는 요구사항 또한 엄격해지고 있다. 따라서 발전소에 적용되는 안전 동작에 대한 기준을 결정하기 위해서 철저한 오류 예측분석이 수행 되어야 한다. 그 중에서도 NUREG-0492로 규정되어 있는 결함수목분석(Fault Tree Analysis)은 연역적 오류 예측 분석방법으로 원자력 발전소, 우주 산업 등에 관련된 분야는 본 방법을 통하여 오류 예측 분석이 이루어 져야한다. 본 논문에서 원전안전계통을 관리하는 구현 모델인 원전안전등급제어기기(Safety Programmable Logic Controller)에 대하여 결함수목분석을 통한 오류 예측 분석을 하였다. 또한, 위의 구조에 대하여 MSC(Message Sequence Chart)를 통한 모델링을 수행하여, 결함수목분석을 적용하는 과정에서 신뢰도 향상을 더하였다.

Numerical estimation for safety factors of tunnels considering the failure of supports (지보재 파괴를 고려한 터널 안전율의 수치해석적 산정 연구)

  • In a tunnel, failure of its supports can cause failure of the tunnel. Therefore it is important to estimate safety factor of the tunnel which the failure of its supports is taken into account. In previous studies, supports of tunnels were usually modelled as beam elements. The failure of the supports was decided by comparing the allowable stress and the calculated bending stresses inside the beam elements in estimating safety factor of the tunnel considering the failure of its supports. In this study, it is suggested how to model the supports properly. To this end, supports of a tunnel were modelled by both beam (elastic) elements and continuum (elasto-plastic) elements in two dimensional numerical analyses. Meanwhile, it was analyzed how rock mass class, coefficient of lateral pressure, shotcrete thickness, the existence of rock bolt, and excavation method had an effect on the safety factor of a tunnel.

  • In road tunnel, in order to prevents an accident and minimize the damage of an accident in the case of fire, safety facilities and equipments are integral parts. The type and amount of safety facilities are based on tunnel type and length, traffic flow rate, etc. Therefore many countries use a tunnel classification system that categories tunnel into groups, and specifies the necessary emergency equipment for each group. In this study, for the purpose of classifying tunnel based on tunnel ist investigated the domestic and foreign standards and regulations for safety of road tunnel. As a results, we suggest the method of classification of tunnel by traffic performance, tunnel grade, the volume of traffic, fraction of HGV, rules or regulations for transports of dangerous good through tunnel.

Microbiological and Sensory Evaluations on Sesame Leaf of Bio Soybean Paste (깻잎 바이오 된장의 미생물 및 관능평가)

  • Microbiological and sensory evaluations of bio soybean paste prepared by sesame leaf and immobilized cells of Bifidobacterium animalis DY 64 were assessed. Bio soybean paste treated with 3.0-5.0% (w/w) of sesame leaf combined with 10% (w/w) immobilized cells increased a consumer acceptance due to enhancing odor and flavor. Aerobic microorganisms in bio soybean paste were significantly (P < 0.05) increased during 15 days of storage and then decreased slightly (P < 0.05) after 30 days of storage at room temperature. Food pathogens of Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli were not detected in bio soybean paste during storage. It is concluded that preparation of bio soybean paste using sesame leaf, and immobilized cells of Bifidobacterium animalis DY 64 could be used to industrial application for enhancing consumer acceptance.

  • The current procedure of estimating accident reduction benefit shows fixed accident rates for each level of roads without considering the various characteristics of roadway geometries, and traffics. In this study, in order to solve the problems mentioned in the above, models were developed considering the characteristics of roadway alignments and traffic characteristics. The developed models can be used to estimate the accident rates on new or improved roads, In this study, only urban highways were included as a beginning stage. First of all. factors influencing accident rates were selected. Those factors such as traffic volumes. number of signalized intersections, the number of connecting roads, number of pedestrian traffic signals, existence of median barrier, and the number of road lane are also selected based upon the obtainability at the planning stage of roads. The relationship between the selected factors and accident rates shows strong correlation statistically. In this study, roads were classified into 4 groups based on number of lanes, level of roads and the existence of median barriers. The regression analysis had been performed for each group with actual data associated with traffic, roads. and accidents. The developed regression models were verified with another data set. In this study, in order to develop the proposed models, only data on a limited area were used. In order to represent whole area of the country with the developed models. the models should be re-analyzed with vast data.

  • 소프트웨어 시험은 소프트웨어 제품의 고 품질을 보장하기 위한 중요한 요소들 중의 하나이고, 특히 신뢰도가 원자력 발전소외 안전에 직결되는 디지털 기반의 원전 계측제어계통 소프트웨어는 고품질과 고신뢰도를 제공하여야 한다. 그러므로 원자력발전소에 사용되는 소프트웨어는 안전성과 신뢰성을 제공하기 위해 체계적인 시험을 통하여 설계의 정당성을 확인하고, 요건명세서나 설계사양서에 나타난 계통 및 구성요소의 기능과 요건들이 만족하게 실행됨을 확인하여야 한다. 규제기관에서도 소프트웨어의 안정성, 기능의 완전한 수행, 소프트웨어 자체가 계통의 기능을 저하 시키는지와 계통에게 예정되지 않은 기능을 수행하도록 영향을 주는지외 확인 등을 소프트웨어 시험을 통해 확인하도록 요구하고 있다. 이와 같이 원자력발전소에 사용되는 소프트웨어의 시험을 위해서는 보다 엄격하고 명확한 시험 프레임웍을 개발하고 적용키는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 시험과 관련된 인허가 규제요건을 분석하고, 이에 따라 현재 설계를 진행중인 SMART MMIS 소프트웨어 시험에 적용될 소프트웨어 개발생명주기 시험활동, 시험 조직, 시험문서, 소프트웨어 등급별 시험방법 등 시험 프레임웍을 제시한다.

Antimutagenic activity and Immunologic activity of Agarooligosaccharides Produced by $\beta-Agarase$ from Bacillus cereus ASK 202 (Bacillus cereus ASK 202의 $\beta-Agarase$가 생산한 한천올리고당의 항 돌연변이성 및 면역활성에 관한 연구)

  • Agarooligosaccharides were produced by $\beta$-agarase from Bacillus cereus ASK 202. LD$_{50}$ of Agarooligosaccharides was determined to be 1359 mg/kg which corresponded to GRAS material. Agarooligosaccharides at 5% level exhibited 88.3% inhibition on TA98 and 54% on TA100, indicating agarooligosaccharides to be potent antimutagenic substance. Immunologic activity of agarooligosaccharides was also confirmed by mouse spleen cell culture. Agrooligosaccharides addition of 200 $\mu$l/ml stabilized spleen cells (2.5$\times$10$^{6}$ cells/ml) as compared to control (6.4$\times$10$^4$ cells/ml).

  • This paper presents the design of a value-added ATM switch. The ATM switch ca perform CAC Processing and Firewall Processing Routine at packet-level (IP) at the ATM environment per port. The proposed two routine are integrated into the components of ATM switch. The Firewall switch employs a suggested two routine model to avoid or reduce the latency caused by filtering. Also, we suggest four classes are defined. namely, classes A, B, C, and D, which are orded from the safest to the most dangerous. The suggested model performance of ATM Firewall switch is estimated simulation in terms of the throught and latency by computer.

  • This research delves into the escalating concerns of accidents and fatalities in the construction industry over the recent five-year period, focusing on the development of a Safety Perception Model to augment safety measures. Given the rising percentage of elderly workers and the concurrent drop in productivity within the sector, there is a pronounced need for leveraging Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies to bolster safety protocols. The study comprises an in-depth analysis of statistical data regarding construction-related fatalities, aiming to shed light on prevailing safety challenges. Central to this investigation is the formulation of a Safety Perception Model tailored for small-scale construction projects. This model facilitates the quantification of safety risks by evaluating safety grades across construction sites. Utilizing the DWM1000 module, among an array of wireless communication technologies, the model enables the real-time tracking of worker locations and the assessment of safety levels on-site. Furthermore, the deployment of a safety management system allows for the evaluation of risk levels associated with individual workers. Aggregating these data points, the Safety Climate Index(SCLI) is calculated to depict the daily, weekly, and monthly safety climate of the site, thereby offering insights into the effectiveness of implemented safety measures and identifying areas for continuous improvement. This study is anticipated to significantly contribute to the systematic enhancement of safety and the prevention of accidents on construction sites, fostering an environment of improved productivity and strengthened safety culture through the application of the Safety Perception Model.
