This study developed smart vests with heat and massage functions that changed patterns, designs, materials, etc., and evaluated their functions and satisfaction. A knitted fabric with good elasticity and a heating lining were used, and in consideration of this, the final vest pattern fitted to the upper body was completed. A heat pad was attached to the back, and 6 vibration motors were attached to the trapezius muscle. The controller was placed on the left chest for easy operation, and the battery was stored in an inner pocket under the controller. The heating effect of the smart vest, the location of the devices, and the ease of operation were excellent. When the massage function was operated, the thermal comfort was increased compared to when the massage function was not operated, and the high thermal comfort was perceived by the operation of heat and heat+massage function. Due to the battery, the weight, irritating contact of devices and wearing sensation decreased, but there was no reduction in wearing sensation due to heat and vibration devices. The greater the satisfaction with the massage function, thermal comfort, fit, appearance and weight, the greater the product satisfaction.

건강에 관한 헬스케어기구 중에서 전신아마기의 보급이 급속도로 증가되고 있다. 현대인의 스트레스를 해소하기 위해 사용하는 이러한 전신안마기 사용시 PPG를 이용하여 HRV 신호를 측정하여 스트레스의 이완 정도를 판단하는 것이 중요하다. 그런데 이 경우 안마기에 의해서 피실험자가 움직이는 상태에서 측정이 이루어지므로 HRV의 측정신호에 동잡음이 개입된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 복합신호에서 신호처리에 의해서 동잡음을 효과적으로 제거하여 원하는 HRV를 측정하여 분석하는 방법을 제시한다.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the massage program stimulating the acupuncture points and meridians on the improvement of sleep quality. Methods: 16 subjects suffering from sleep disorders were recruited and the massage program was conducted 3 times a week for a month. VAS (Visual Analog Scale) and KPSQI (Korean Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index) were collected through questionnaires, and salivary cortisol concentration test and HRV (Heart Rate Variability) were also used to evaluate the effect. The collected data were analyzed by independent statisticians. Results: VAS and KPSQI values decreased significantly after 4 weeks of massage chair application. There was no significant difference in salivary cortisol concentration and HRV test results. In the group with normal HRV test results and salivary cortisol concentration, the change of VAS and KPSQI values was not significant, while the group with abnormal range showed a statistically significant decrease. Conclusions: The massage chair program stimulating meridians according to Korean medicine theory was effective in improving sleep quality. Massage of acupoints and meridians through a massage chair is expected to be useful as an adjunctive therapy in addition to standard Korean medicine therapy.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the short-term effects of electrical massager on stress-related parameters including heart rate variability (HRV), heart rate (HR) using the photoplethysmogram (PPG) signal with motion artifact correction. Twenty healthy subjects were randomly allocated to receive a 15-min section of three types ((1) resting mode (control group), (2) light massage mode, (3) strong massage mode). Results indicated that self-report, VAS (Visual Analog Scale) significantly decreased for two massage modes after massage except control group. In strong massage mode, it was associated with significant increases in HF, but significant decreases in LF and LH/HF ratio compared with the light massage mode. For all outcomes, similar changes were not observed in the control group. Also, the result founded that mean HR of all groups decrease. We conclude that electrical massager reduces perceived stress and improves adaptive autonomic response to stress in healthy adults.

서해 남부 안마군도 주변 해역 식물플랑크톤 군집의 계절 동태를 파악하기 위하여 2020년 봄부터 2021년 겨울까지 소형 해양조사선 에드오션호를 이용하여 21개 정점의 표층과 저층 해수를 대상으로 현장조사를 하였다. 결과, 출현한 식물플랑크톤 종은 52속 87종으로, 규조류가 67.8%, 와편모조류가 26.5%, 규질편모조류가 3.5%, 그리고 은편모조류 및 유글레나조류가 각 1.1%를 차지하였다. 계절별로 출현 종은 봄에 단순하였고, 겨울에 상대적으로 다양하였다. 표층 현존량은 여름 28.8±30.1 cells mL^-1로 낮았고, 봄 87.0±65.1 cells mL^-1로 높았다. 식물플랑크톤 군집은 연중 규조류가 80% 이상 높은 점유율을 나타내었고, 우점종은 Skeletonema costatum-ls가 봄과 겨울에 60% 이상 극우점을 보였고, 여름과 가을 각 34.6%와 24.2%로 최우점하였다. 군집구조 특성을 나타내는 다양도 지수는 현존량과 다르게 가을에 2.79±0.45로 높았고, 봄에 1.82±0.18로 낮았다. 그러나 우점도 지수는 봄에 0.86±0.08로 높았고, 가을에 0.44±0.13로 낮았다. 환경인자 및 식물플랑크톤 군집 관련 인자를 이용한 주성분 분석 결과, 식물플랑크톤 군집을 통해 본 안마군도 주변 해역의 생물해양학적 환경 특성은 상대적 개방해역 및 조석 혼합 등 해수 혼합에 의한 해저 퇴적층에서 공급되는 영양염 등에 의해 지배되는 것으로 추정되었다.

온열안마기의 내부천으로 사용되고 있는 직물의 내구성을 향상시키고자 기존 PET/면 혼방직물의 마모현상을 분석하고, 그 문제점을 보완할 수 있는 난연성 PET 직물을 설계/제조한 후 물리적 성능 및 내구성을 평가하였다. 기존 직물의 경우 구동부분의 반복적인 마찰에 의한 마모뿐만 아니라, 구동시 내부천의 이동에 의해 발생하는 접힘 현상이 회복되지 못하기 때문에 직물의 파손이 가속화되는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 섬유재질의 변경, 신축사, 강연사, 조직의 변경 등을 적용하여 물리적 성능 및 내마모성을 크게 개선한 내부천을 제조하였다. 특히 신축사를 사용 한 직물의 내구성은 크게 향상되어 기존 직물 대비 2배 이상의 사용시간을 증가시킬 수 있었으며, 강연사를 사용한 직물은 약 1.5배 정도 내마모시간이 증가하는 결과를 얻었다.

"Urban traditional housing" means a type of urban housing which retains characteristics of traditional Korean houses for ordinary people. It is a form of housing created in the process in which traditional Korean ways of life are applied to swift modernization. In Korea's traditional housing, the "court" functioned as a living space that promoted family bonding. The space of the court still remains in the urban traditional housing. However, rapid popularization of the westernized housing form, i.e., apartments, resulted in standardization and westernization of our housing and living patterns, and as a result, the court in urban traditional housing came to lose its original meaning. The objects of this study are residents of urban traditional housing. By studying them, this research aims, firstly, to understand the meaning of the inner court, secondly to analyze correlation between the residents' consciousness of the inner court and their use of the space, and ultimately to find various possible forms of our future housing. For this research, twenty six houses in the Gahoe-dong area in which urban traditional houses are densely built up were investigated. According to the result of this research, the inner court in current urban traditional housing is a space existing inside a house but directly exposed to outer air at the same time. It is a private but shared space. It contributes to forming a pleasant atmosphere by facilitating ventilation and providing sunlight. In addition, it is a living space that actively reflects the Korean living style that values family life.
