  • 안경은 현대인이 가장 많이 사용하는 편의 기구이며 건강기구이다. 한편 소비자의 개성이 다양화되면서 안경의 전체적 형태와 함께 안경테 및 안경 렌즈의 색상이 안경의 새로운 품질로 떠오르게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 잠김 및 캐스팅법에 의한 렌즈 색상내기에 대하여 자료를 제시한다.

Analysis of New Eyewear Product Trends of 2008 (2008년 안경 신상품 트렌드 분석)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study is to grasp domestic eyewear trends in 2008 with analyzing brands, types, materials, colors and styles of new eyewear products. Methods: Examined all new eyewear products which were on three magazines related with eyewear published in Korea; "안경계", "Eye 11" and "THE AXIS". Results: There are 103 companies, 182 brands in 3 magazines related eyewear published in 2008. There are 77 domestic brands and 105 imported brands, and there are 522 eyeglasses and 126 sunglasses. Material of eyeglasses make up 37.93% of combination frames, 33.14% of metal frames and 28.93% of plastic frames and material of sunglasses make up 50.79% of plastic frames, 30.95% of combination frames and 18.25% of metal frames. From a style point of view, there are lots of retro and casual styles which one can express one's individuality with. In terms of colors, basic colors such as black and gray are mainstream and pastel tones and vivid tones are mainly used as the point color. Conclusions: The results of analyzing new eyewear products show that many light and feeling good products such as thin plate frames, TR frames and thin plate-TR combination frames were released in case of domestic eyewear products. In case of imports, there are lots of simple Ti frames and acetate frames which were variety patterns and colors.

A Study on the Design Identity of Optical Shop Brands (안경원 브랜드의 디자인아이덴티티에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the design identity visual elements of optical shop brand$\underline{s}$ in order to provide objective data necessary for optical shop brands' design development. Methods: This study examined the design identity concept of the optical shop brands and analyzed visual elements of brand design identity with a focus on the symbols of domestic franchise optical shops, type of a symbol mark, representation style of logo type, color usage, use or non-use of character, etc. Results: Many symbols were directly associated with the eyeglasses, such as eyeglasses and eyes, face and iris. Along with that, letters or figures were also observed. For the type of symbol, most types were found to have the designs that took spherical and word mark shapes. Particularly, the word mark type had English words more often than Korean words. For logo types, the gothic format was dominant. In relation to the thickness of letter, thick boldface type was commonly used. The combination of 2 degrees was the color frequency used most often in the optical shop brand design. For the frequency of color usage, black and red colors were used most often. Particularly, the orange color, as well as the black color, was also often used for the main color of symbols or logo types. Meanwhile, the characters were used only in some optical shop. Most characters were animals and expressed in the cartoon and graphical forms. Conclusions: Typifier, symbol mark, logo type, color, and character are the elements forming the basic development system for brand design identity. Systematic design is needed which clearly ensures the function and role along with the mutual consistency as a important visual component of the optical shop brand.

  • 잠김 방식(dipping)을 사용하여 안료에 의한 색상 렌즈를 제작하였다. 본 논문에서는 안료의 종류에 따른 색상 농도의 변화를 중심으로 조사한 바를 발표한다. 색상 렌즈는 안경 산업의 발전과 함께 새로운 수요를 창출하게 뭔 것이다.

  • SiO₂, ZrO₂를 사용하여 안경 렌즈의 5충 코팅을 설계하였다. 제5층의 두께를 변화시킨 후 반사율을 계산하고, RGB의 반사율을 이용하여 반사된 빛의 색상을 시각화하였다. 이 논문에서는 제5충의 두께가 두꺼워지면서 반사광의 색상이 붉은 색상에서 푸른 색상으로 이동하였다. 색상의 분석은 Photosop5.0을 이용하였다.

The Change of the Accommodative Amplitude in Accordance with the Color of the Spectacle Lens or Object (안경 렌즈 및 물체의 색상에 따른 최대 조절력 변화)

  • Purpose: To determine whether the accommodation of amplitude (AA) was changed by the color of the spectacle lens or object. Methods: AA was measured in forty subjects in their 20s when they viewed different targeton-background color combination with achromatic, gray, brown or green lens. Minus-lens procedures were used for the estimation of AA. Results: When subjects viewed the black-on-white, red-on-white and green-on-white targets, AA under tinted lens tended to be increased compared with AA under achromatic lens. Especially, the green lens significantly increased AA whatever the color of target was. Furthermore, as subjects viewed the green target, AA was the highest irrespective of the color of lens. AA was also changed depending on the color of background, so AA on the red background was lower than on the white background. On the contrary, AA on the green background was higher than on the red or white backgrounds. Of tinted lens, the gray lens increased AA the lowest, but the green lens did the highest. The number of subjects, whose AA were measured more than 9 D, reached to 12.5% with the gray lens, 21.3% with the brown lens, 22.5% with the green lens on the green background, but 5%, 6.5% and 6.5% on the red background, respectively. Conclusions: This results showed that AA varied depending on the color of spectacle lens, objects or background, and the eye fatigue could be decreased with proper color of spectacle lens accordingly.

Differences of Dynamic Visual Acuity According to Optical Lens Color (안경렌즈 색상에 따른 동체 시력의 변화)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences of dynamic visual acuity to color of optical lens. Methods: we measured dynamic visual acuity using 5 colored lenses (transparent, yellow, blue, green, brown) for 30 university students. Results: Dynamic visual acuity were highest on yellow colored lens and lowest on brown colored lens, for both of naked eyes and contact lens wearers. Conclusions: It can be concluded that optical lens color can influence on dynamic visual acuity. Selection of colour lense can enhance or decrease of dynamic visual acuity. Therefore, a selection of colour lense should be carefully decided especially for athletes who needs a good dynamic visual acuity.

  • 일반적으로 안경집은 일회적으로 사용하고 버리는 것이라 생각하는 사람이 많다. 안경집을 주로 생산하고 있는 대동사출금형과의 공동 노력으로 다기능성 안경집을 개발한 것을 소개한다. 일상적인 고정관념을 버리면 편리하고 기능성이 높은 제품을 만들 수 있다는 신념으로 개발한 결과 어린이나 젊은이들이 졸아할 문방구 겸용 안경집을 개발할 수 있었다. 완구는 소비자가 일상적으로 많이 접촉하기 때문에 곰팡이나 세균이 서식하지 않도록 항균 세라믹을 이용하여 항균처리하였다. 또한 상온에서 인체에 이로운 원적외선이 방출될 수 있도록 고안하였다. 단순한 색상의 무료함을 줄이기 위하여 어린이나 젊은이들이 좋아하는 상용화된 캐릭터를 사용하여 제품의 다양화를 꾀하였고, 4개의 조각으로 만들어 어린이들이나 젊은이들이 조립할 수 있도록 하여 흥미를 더할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 소비자들이 선호하는 색을 알아보기 위하여 기존의 안경집을 활용하여 색상성호도 조사를 실시하였다. 젊은층은 자극적이고 화려한 색깔을 선호하는 한편 기성세대는 무난한 색깔을 선호하였다. 또한 콘택트 렌즈를 착용하는 경우에도 안경을 사용하는 경우가 많다. 이 경우 콘택트 렌즈와 안경을 따로 가지고 다녀야 하는 불편이 있다. 이에 착안하여 안경과 콘택트 렌즈를 겸용으로 사용하는 소비자를 위하여 안경과 콘택트 렌즈를 동시에 담을 수 있는 안경집을 개발(실용신안 출원번호:8928)하였다. 이 고안은 콘택트 렌즈를 안경집에 보관하기 위한 것으로 콘택트렌즈가 식염수에 잠겨 보관된 렌즈캡을 안경집내에 별도로 삽입되는 케이스에 수납하도록 구성하여 안경과 함께 콘택트 렌즈를 보관해 휴대하는 안경집 보관용 콘택트 렌즈 케이스에 관한 것으로 이것의 특징은 뚜껑이 열리고 닫히도록 구성된 안경집에 있어서 뚜껑 안쪽에 거울이 마련되고 뚜껑이 연결되는 선단부 안쪽에 끼움홈과 체결홈이 형성된 체결부를 갖는 안경집과 이것에 결합되는 체결구가 마련되어 개폐되는 커버가 형성된 케이스로 구성된다.로 금형설계 및 제작기간을 단축하고자 한다.ere demonstrated in rats after i.c.v., intraperitoneally and orally administration, respectively. Study on Color and Oxidation Thickness for Titanium Spectacle Frames Colored by Anodization (양극산화방법으로 착색한 티타늄 안경테의 산화막 두께에 따른 색상 연구)

  • Purpose: To examine the coloring condition of titanium spectacle frames with various colors by using anodization method. Methods: We made an anodization coater. Platinum plate with $3{\times}3cm^2$ was used for a cathode and titanium spectacle frame specimens was mounted on an anode in an electrolyte. An electric source device were designed to supply steady state current. The color of the coated spectacle frame specimens were measured by a spectrophotometer equipped with an integrating sphere. We use CIE $L^*a^*b$ color system as chromaticity coordinates. Results: The thickness of $TiO_2$ of titanium spectacle frame specimens was varied as controlling current flow time for electrodes. The specimens with various kinds of color as a walnut, a yellow brown, a navy blue, a blue, a light blue, a mung bean, a yellowish green, a light purple, a purple, a flower pink, a bluish green, an emerald, and a green color etc. were obtained. The values of CIE $L^*a^*b^*$ for these specimens were measured and analyzed to be changed clockwise in chromaticity coordinates as the thickness of $TiO_2$ increases. Conclusions: We identified the coloring mechanism by anodization method in titanium spectacle frame specimens.

Anaglyph Image Generation Using Binocular Disparity and Depth Information (양안시차와 깊이 정보를 이용한 애너그리프 영상 생성)

  • 영상을 입체적으로 보는 방법에는 안경을 이용한 편광 방식과 시분할 방식, 안경이 필요 없는 패럴랙스 베리어, 렌티큘러, 다시점 방식 그리고 완전 3차원 방법들이 있다. 그 중에서도 안경을 이용하여 가장 쉽게 제작이 가능하고, 비용이 저렴한 애너그리프(Anaglyph) 방법이 흔히 사용된다. 애너그리프 영상을 생성하는 방법에도 여러 가지가 존재하고 최근까지 눈에 피로를 적게 하면서 입체감을 최대한 표현할 수 있는 영상을 생성하기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 조건을 만족시키기 위하여 새로운 애너그리프 영상 생성 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 깊이 맵과 양안시차를 계산하여 가장 입체감 있는 애너그리프 영상을 생성 하는 방법이다. 깊이 맵의 계산을 통해 얻은 변이 정보와 실험적으로 계산한 사람 눈의 양안시차를 좌측 영상에 적용한다. 좌측 영상과 우측 영상을 최적화된 색상혼합방법을 사용하여 합성하면 제안한 방식의 애너그리프 영상이 생성된다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 기존의 초점을 고려하지 않는 애너그리프 방식의 문제점을 깊이 맵을 이용하여 해결할 수 있고 또한 양안시차를 고려하고 최적화된 색상혼합을 사용하기 때문에 눈에 피로가 적어진다.
