조경수의 병해충 - 철쭉류의 주요해충

  • 봄이면 항상 아지랑이 속에 나울나울 봄바람과 함께 분홍빛 자태를 들어내며 겨우내 추웠던 흔적을 지우고 세상사 으뜸은 ''나pos; 라고 소리치는 진달래! 우리의 동산을 채우고, 우리집 마당을 채우고, 길가의 언덕까지 채우고, 내 마음의 허전함을 채우는 철쭉, 진달래 등 종류도 다양하고 품종도 다양하다. 정원수와 조경수로 많이 선호하며 몇몇 지방에서는 5월이면 철쭉 축제도 개최하는 곳이 있다. 하지만 이 아름다운 나무를 못 살게 구는 몇몇 병해충이 있으니 진달래방패벌레, 독나방, 극동등애잎벌, 철쭉떡병 등이 대표적인 병해충이다. 이들에 대한 피해현상과 방제법에 대하여 간단히 소개하고자 한다.

  • 스멀스멀 아지랑이 피듯 나른한 오월, 몸이 피곤하고 의욕이 없는 증상은 누구나 한 번쯤 겪어 보았을 것이다. 일반적으로 과로에 의한 피로는 충분한 휴식과 영양을 공급해주면 회복된다. 그러나 휴식을 취해도 호전되지 않고 피로가 6개월 이상 지속된다면 '만성피로'로 의사의 진찰을 받아보아야 한다. 왜냐하면, 피로의 원인이 당뇨, 암, 갑상선질환, 고혈압, 우울증 등에 있을 수 있기 때문이다. 실제로 원인 모를 피곤함으로 병원을 찾은 환자 중 종종 당뇨 진단을 받기도 한다. 그러면 당뇨병환자는 왜 기력이 떨어지고 피곤해하는지 당뇨와 피로의 상관관계에 대해 알아보도록 하자.

Steam Leak Detection by Using Image Signal (영상신호를 이용한 증기누설 검출 방법)

  • Steam leakage is one of the major issues for the structural fracture of pipes of nuclear power plants. Therefore a method to inspect a large area of piping systems quickly and accurately is needed. In this paper, we proposed the method for the detecting steam leakage by using image signal processing. Our basic idea come from heat shimmer which shine with a soft light that looks as if it shakes slightly. To test the performance of this technique, experiments have been performed for simple heat source and steam generator. Results show that the proposed technique is quite powerful in the steam leak detection.

Effective expression of the caustic effect in 3D animation (3D Animation에서 효과적인 Caustic표현 연구)

  • The caustic effect provides some of the most amazing indirect illuminated light patterns or scenery one could find in nature. We can perceive this in forms of twinkling stars, shimmering, visually deflected spoon in the water and other various occasions. To generate the caustic effect more realistic and effectively in 3D animation the understanding of the caustic effect and its application is very crucial. However, thor exists various factors in creating the caustic effect other than two main factors discussed in this paper and these factors will require to be studied and tested. In this report, various cases, which used the caustic effect to create more realistic scenery are studied and the role of the caustic effect played in various sceneries are analyzed. In addition to these case studies it is also experimented with changes in different conditions On the basis of the result of case studies, the report demonstrates how the caustic effect can be used to create more realistic scenery by conducting substantiate experiment and research on practicing 3D animation. With all of these researches, the paper is to present the education guide to produce more realistic scenery in 3D animation.

Interfacial Reaction Characteristics of a Bi-20Sb-10Cu-0.3Ni Pb-free Solder Alloy on Cu Pad (Bi-10Cu-20Sb-0.3Ni 고온용 무연 솔더와 Cu와의 계면 반응 특성)

  • Interfacial reaction characteristics of a Bi-10Cu-20Sb-0.3Ni Pb-free alloy on Cu pad was investigated by reflow soldering at $430^{\circ}C$. The thickness of interfacial reaction layers with respect to the soldering time was also measured. After the reflow soldering, it was observed that a $(Cu,Ni)_2Sb$, a $Cu_4Sb$ intermetallic layer, and a haze layer, which is consisted of Bi and $Cu_4Sb$ phases, were successively formed at the Bi-10Cu-20Sb-0.3Ni/Cu interface. The total thickness of the reaction layers was found to be linearly increased with increasing of the reflow soldering time up to 120 s. As the added Ni element did not participate in the formation of the thickest $Cu_4Sb$ interfacial layer, suppression of the interfacial growth was not observed.

  • The purpose of this study is to produce works with motifs from organic forms of nature and to try to drive various forms. As a research method, literature was investigated through rsearch in domestic academic jounals, and four hair sculptures that can be used easily in practice were produced by combining the organic forms and design concepts of nature. As a result of the study, first, the work was produced by applying the law of harmony and balance with the motif of the crescent moon. Second, the flow of wave waves was expressed by applying the law of repetition with the motif of waves. Third, the haze rising from the waterfall was expressed by applying the law of dissonance. Fourth, l tried to give the image of the sun announcing a new beginning by emphasizing the rising sun. As a result, it can be seen that the organic form of nature gives an embarrassing inspiration to create design. The limitation of this study is that the accuracy of producing works only with mannequins and producing the same image in the actual model should be limited, and as a follow-up study, research that can be used in the actual model should be continuously conducted.
