Based on the case study methods, the study analyzes emergence and ensuing typology of global ebook platforms such as Google eBook, Amazon Kindle, iBooks Store. Global ebook platforms show adaptation process responding to rapidly changing digital technological envirment and it's fitness landscape. The critical elements in its emerging process are the distinct selection criteria, the degree of resource abundance and the search process based on open innovation. Based on these critical elements, the global platforms show speciation process, so called niche creation and are evolving into a variety of the typology based on the initial condition of key resource which makes the platform emerge and grow. Each global ebook platforms is evolving into open platform, hybrid platform, closed platform. Google eBook has openness and extensibility due to a variety of devices based on Android and a direct involvement of actors. Amazon Kindle has developed from a online bookstore and into the hybrid platform which have not only closed quality but also openness with ebook devices and mobile network. iBooks Store has developed into the closed platform through the agency model based on competitive hardwares and closed quality with iphone and ipad.

해저보행로봇 CR200은 여러 개의 관절로 이루어진 6개의 다리를 이용하여 해저면에서 보행으로 이동하며 해저 정밀탐사 및 작업을 수행하는 로봇으로, 케이블로 연결된 선상제어실에서 원격 제어된다. CR200 시스템에서는 16개의 카메라가 장착될 예정이며, 취득된 카메라의 영상은 선상제어실의 비디오 컴퓨터로 전송되어 모니터링 및 녹화된다. 설계된 비디오 시스템에서 영상 전송은 전자기 간섭에 의한 화질 열화를 최소화하기 위하여 기가비트의 대역폭을 가진 이더넷과 광케이블을 통하여 디지털 형태로 전송되며, 아날로그 카메라의 영상은 비디오 인코더를 사용하여 디지털 영상으로 변환된 후에 전송된다. 본 논문에서는 CR200의 비디오 시스템의 설계를 소개하고, 실제로 제작하기 전에 설계된 비디오 시스템을 검증하기 위하여 테스트베드를 사용한 통합 테스트 결과를 제시한다. 아직 준비되지 않은 카메라에 대해서는 아이패드의 아날로그 영상 출력을 비디오 인코더의 입력으로 전달하여, 설계된 모든 카메라들이 동작하는 상황을 테스트베드로 실험하였다. 16개 카메라의 영상이 모니터링 및 녹화되는 상황을 테스트베드로 실험한 결과에 따르면, 압축률 10%의 H.264 동영상 압축 알고리즘을 사용할 경우에 30fps 영상의 모니터링 및 녹화에 각각 60Mbps의 전송량으로 비디오 시스템이 정상적으로 동작하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 비디오 데이터의 전송은 센서 및 제어 데이터의 전송과 같은 네트워크를 사용하지만, 비디오 데이터의 기가비트 네트워크 사용률은 평균 12%이기 때문에 비디오 데이터 전송으로 인하여 데이터 통신은 거의 영향을 받지 않는다.

Nowadays, wireless local area networks are widely deployed so that stations can potentially associate with an access point. The AP selection strategy is one of the significant research areas for wireless local area networks. The selection strategy solves the relevant problem is which AP can be selected and associated with a station so that the efficient resource utilization can be obtained. Rather than merely choosing the AP with the strongest received signal strength, however, we calculate effective throughput for each neighboring AP and use it as a basis for AP selection. Referencing the throughput is better than referencing the signal strength only because the network may contain a severe load imbalance. We have performed computer simulations using OPNET modeler in order to verify the performance of the proposed scheme. The results show us that the proposed selection method outperforms that of the conventional one in terms of throughput and delay.

The present study investigates the seventh and the eighth graders' perception of Free Learning Semester Programs offered by libraries by developing a survey questionnaire on students' needs for Free Learning Semester Programs of Libraries. The skills that middle school students want to improve in Free Learning Semesters are career exploration skills, and the type of Free Learning Semester that is most intensively implemented is career exploration activities. Programs are often offered in the form of experiential classes. Regarding the activities that the students want to participate during Free Learning Semester, the most preferred activities included field experience activity in the career exploration domain, cooking class in the student choice program, smartphone app development in club activities, design activity in the art domain, the badminton in the physical education domain, and using iPad in the information use skills. In addition, among the library programs in coordination with Free Learning Semester, the students liked the occupational experience program most. Future studies need to include the development and implementation of Free Learning Semester Programs based on students' opinions, and investigate their satisfaction with the Free Learning Semester Programs offered by libraries.

In recent, hospital information systems are widely used to electronically record, manage and share the data collected in hospitals. Such systems have contributed greatly to improving the work efficiency in modern hospitals, however, the collected data concerning the patients should be appropriately processed and reused to provide the healthcare service providers with decision supports. Especially, this paper proposes the patient flow monitoring system for the operations management of the outpatient department for patients with chronic diseases, and discusses the related issues. The proposed system visualizes the standard process model extracted from the patient history data and various performance measures, and this enables the managers to evaluate and enhance the operations of the outpatient clinic. In this paper, the patient flow monitoring system is applied to the rheumatology clinic, and the prototype system optimized for I-pad is illustrated.

The purpose of this study analyze consumer usage characteristics and product development guide of electronic pen based on TAM theory(Davies, 1989). Research methods apply contents analysis(qualitative research) and Activity/Inactivity analysis of main consumer participation. Research results are as follows. Active consumer indicated 30-49 age, male, office job and research fellow. And they suggested stable power supply system, App connected pen function extension, add the modified pen function, advanced data recognition of pen, advanced take note ability and stable grip feeling of pen, selected line width, synchronization improvement with other smart device and charging function. These result indicated the importance product improvement diffusion factor of early market to main market. The future research of electric pen focused on different product strategy between electric pen and smart device connected electric pen.

Recently, traditional books based on printing on the paper have expanded to e-book media in smart device because of developing digital technology. Especially, app book applied application makes users' experience increase and provides immersion to them, because it allows them basically delivering information, educational effect and fun elements with multimedia technology. There are various experimental trials to make enhance effect of reformatting for application media. The purpose of this study is to analyze reformatting effect for app book with funology which is convergence of digital technology and a fun. Then this article would provide design guide and be applied to new application contents. For this research, the first of all, we would discuss concept and elements of funology by publication including thesis, articles, and books. Secondly, this article will be focused on 'Moo, Baa, La La La!' which is reformatting application for iPad to analyze type of funology. Thirdly, we would make sure that app book makes users get emotional effect comparing original book by FGI(Focus Group Interview). In conclusion, sensitive funology used the sound allows user emotional effect and they prefer to intuitive and immediate motion and response of interactive funology. In other way, funology of fun in itself which is strong concept in original book diminishes in app book. Then users concentrate interactive factors like game structure. This results make that app books could be created by strength of original contents and advantage of funology. Therefore this makes us expect the possibility of reformatting effect with funology and we need to discuss the points of issue that there are considerations and limitations to successful app book for users.

EBooks refer to electronic versions of books which are accessible via internet with forms of digital texts. In recent years, Amazon's Kindle digital eBooks has revealed the possibilities of success of the e-book market, which leads other companies to launch eBook service such as Google's eBook stores and Apple's iPad and eBook service. These reveal that the eBook market is finally showing a substantial amount of growth. Although the issue of technical support of eBook copyright protection emerges from the fast growing eBook marketplace, current technic of commercial DRM for protecting eBook copyright protection still has problems of non-comparability. Therefore, with the current technical status, DRM comparability problems, which have already occurred in music DRM environment, would also happen in eBook environment. This study suggests a standard framework to support eBook DRM comparability. When development of the standard reference software for eBook DRM comparability is completed, the sources will be registered as shareware to be open to public.

There are many kinds of Neo educations are proved by smart learning as STEAM. The students who have been studied with the smartphone, I-pad, personal computer, or laptop as smart tools for class are familliar as feedback processing speedly. It would make them learn the skill for their knowledge of a digital age, but it should not let them how to understand other people's emotion as real although STEAM has emtion part. Besides they have communicated on the social network not the ordinary man but the special ego by themselves, as mention or retweet as like their amusements and make the gossip group. This study would show the perspective for understanding Teen-agers Social Problem and who is the victims today's juvenile problems though the musical based on Jim Taulli's directing.
