  • 최근 다양한 직업을 가진 SNS 사용자가 증가함에 따라, SNS 사용자들은 전문가 간 협업 및 기술적 의사소통을 위한 전문가 추천 기능을 요구하고 있다. 하지만 기존 협업적 여과 기법은 전문가 추천 서비스를 효율적으로 제공하지 못한다. Content-boosted 협업적 여과 기법은 다양한 예측 알고리즘을 제시하여, 효과적인 추천을 수행할 수 있도록 지원한다. 그러나 명확한 계산 조건이 제시되지 못하는 경우 아이템 및 사용자 유사도 계산을 수행할 수 없는 단점이 존재한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Content-boosted 협업적 여과 기법의 단점을 해결하는 하이브리드 협업적 여과기법을 이용한 새로운 전문가 추천기법을 제안한다. 또한, 이를 이용하여 SNS에서의 전문가 추천 시스템을 설계한다.

  • 메타버스란 가상, 초월을 뜻하는 Meta와 우주, 세계를 뜻하는 Universe의 합성어로 가상과 현실이 상호작용 하면서 사회·경제·문화 활동이 이루어지며 가치를 창출하는 세상을 말한다. 이러한 메타버스는 5G와 그래픽 기술의 발전과 함께 코로나 사태로 인한 비대면 생활이 계속되면서 디지털 네이티브 세대인 Z세대가 메타버스 플랫폼을 소통의 장으로 삼기 시작하면서 성장하고 있다. 메타버스 안에서 콘서트나 사인회를 하고, 가상 아이템을 판매하며 마케팅을 벌이는 등 다양한 산업에서 메타버스에 뛰어들고 있다. 점점 진화하고 있는 메타버스는 메타버스 내에서 유저들 간에 맺는 상호관계 활동이 큰 장점이지만, 이로 인해 개인정보 보호 문제나, 위치정보, 금융정보 문제 등의 다양한 문제가 발생할 수 있는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 메타버스에서 발생할 수 있는 문제점과 그 대응 방안을 제시하였다.

  • The TUI system Modeling Language(TML) developed in this research can be used for designing TUI system with concerning about TUI's characters. For design to be concerned about physical property of tangibles and control device and digital media, TML can be a framework to give a definition of each property and be used for designing action and reaction process separately. And it would be the guideline to represent interaction's dynamic property through showing parallel information flows among objects. Finally, for verification TML's suitability, TUI system to which TML was applied was developed.

Attention-Based Heart Rate Estimation using MobilenetV3

  • The advent of deep learning technologies has led to the development of various medical applications, making healthcare services more convenient and effective. Among these applications, heart rate estimation is considered a vital method for assessing an individual's health. Traditional methods, such as photoplethysmography through smart watches, have been widely used but are invasive and require additional hardware. Recent advancements allow for contactless heart rate estimation through facial image analysis, providing a more hygienic and convenient approach. In this paper, we propose a lightweight methodology capable of accurately estimating heart rate in mobile environments, using a specialized 2-channel network structure based on 2D convolution. Our method considers both subtle facial movements and color changes resulting from blood flow and muscle contractions. The approach comprises two major components: an Encoder for analyzing image features and a regression layer for evaluating Blood Volume Pulse. By incorporating both features simultaneously our methodology delivers more accurate results even in computing environments with limited resources. The proposed approach is expected to offer a more efficient way to monitor heart rate without invasive technology, particularly well-suited for mobile devices.

  • Collaborative filtering approach predicts the preference of active user about specific items transacted on the e-commerce by using others' preference information. To improve the prediction accuracy through collaborative filtering approach, it must be needed to gain enough preference information of users' for predicting preference. But, a bit much information of users' preference might wrongly affect on prediction accuracy, and also too small information of users' preference might make bad effect on the prediction accuracy. This research suggests the method, which decides suitable numbers of neighbor users for applying collaborative filtering algorithm, improved by existing k nearest neighbors selection methods. The result of this research provides useful methods for improving the prediction accuracy and also refines exploratory data analysis approach for deciding appropriate numbers of nearest neighbors.

  • Minor enterprises can successfully build up their market share plans in a relatively shorter time than compared with major enterprises, which require long time for design developments in their big organization. Therefore, there are some items that are more suitable to the minor enterprises. For example, computer desk may be the one. It must be one of the strategically suitable items of minor enterprises rather than of large enterprises because of their own easy production policies. This paper is based on a research report that I submitted to Gyongsan-Si, Gyongbuk-Do which supported a small company for a special purpose of its provincial economic policy. I took part in the research and suggested five types of characteristic concepts and the ideas. And as a result. the type war accepted as the most appropriate one of them to produce. And the acception was based on the following five factors; consumer's need, productivity, proper price, energy saving, and user' easiness.

  • We are in overload status of information not just in a flood of information due to the data pouring from various kinds of mobile devices, online and Social Network Service(SNS) every day. While there are many existing information already created, lots of new information has been created from moment to moment. Linkage analysis has the shortcoming in that it is difficult to find the information we want since the number of rules increases geometrically as the number of item increases with the method of finding out frequent item set where the frequency of item is bigger than minimum support in this information. In this regard, this thesis proposes WT-algorithm that represents the transaction data set as Boolean variable item and grants weight to each item by making algorithm with Quine-McKluskey used to simplify the logical function. The proposed algorithm can improve efficiency of data mining by reducing the unnecessary rules due to the advantage of simplification regardless of number of items.

  • In this paper, we present the Mont-Saint-Michel virtual reality system designed to create the virtual heritage environment, which is enriched with personalized tour guide service. The tour guide system allows users to travel in the virtual heritage site and get more information about the sites or items of user's interests. It also allows users to make their own tour guidebook with the pictures they have taken during the virtual tour and more detail descriptions from the tour guide database. It then generates the web-based tour guidebook for users to utilize it for the actual site visit or share it with others over the Internet. The components of this system are designed with the consideration of reusability to be used for other interactive tour guide systems. This paper describes the motivation the development and a preliminary user study of Mont-Saint-Michel virtual reality personalized tour guide system.

  • In recent years, due to rapidly increasing user-created internet contents coupled with the development of community-based websites, the internet resource recommendation systems are attracting attentions of the users. However, most of the systems have failed in properly reflecting users' characteristics and thus they have difficulty in recommending appropriate resources to users. In this paper, we propose an internet resource recommendation method using FOAF and SNA which fully reflects the characteristics of users. In our method, 1) we extract the data about user characteristics and tags using FOAF; 2) we generate graphs representing users, user characteristics and tags after inserting data into 3 matrixes and integrating them; 3) we recommend the appropriate internet resources after selecting common characteristics of the recommended items and Hot tags by analyzing social network. For verification of our proposed method, we implemented our method to establish and analyze an experimental social group. We verified through our experiments that the more users added in the social network, the higher quality of recommendation result we got than the item-based recommendation method. By using the suggested idea in this paper, we can make a more appropriate recommendation of resources to users while effectively retrieving explosively increasing internet resources.

  • MPEG-21's digital item adaptation technology becomes a new way for universal multimedia access. It needs transcoder to change media resource's format and so on according to delivery context Then, the use of heavy transcoder with various transcoding functions integrated into one altogether is so complicated and difficult in supporting universal multimedia access. Unit transcoder Is useful is to resolve this question, in which a transcoder has only one transcoding function. This requires considering how to compose a set of unit transcoders. Thus, given a set for end-to-end different service quality pairs according to the character of application as defined by user, this study suggests how to compose complete unit transcoders that can always create one and more transcoding path(s) for each pair in the set. This method has a question of creating too many transcoding paths for each pair or end-to-end different service quality. Thus, this study also suggests the algorithm that generates minimum unit transcoder sets to support multimedia adaptation with minimum unit transcoder. The algorithm suggested was implemented into multimedia stream engine, and this paper describes the results of experiment for this algorithm.
