This study provides a synthesis of the fundamental concepts of "art archives" and "archival art" while undertaking a reconsideration of the latter. Archival art refers to "artworks or art practices that utilize archival structures or methodologies." Accepted as a new trend in contemporary art, archival art is evaluated as a counternarrative and reconstructs histories that are marginalized and omitted from the public sphere. This approach reveals the contradictory nature of criticizing the contemporary archive from an anti-archival perspective while simultaneously presenting the archive as a core identity of the work. Given the limited research on archival art, often with potential contradictions regarding record authenticity, this study expands the concept of archival art, includes archaeological aspects, classifies types, and analyzes their characteristics. By approaching artists' use of archives from a traditional archaeological lens, this study broadens the scope of the examination.

글로벌 금융위기 이후 증가하는 보호주의의 재등장은 수출주도형공업화로 성장한 아세안 선발국들에게 부정적인 영향을 미칠 것이다. 아세안에 대한 반덤핑 제고 등 무역구제조치는 증가하고 있으며 통상강국들의 반세계화도 증가하고 있다. 그러나 경제블록으로서 아세안이 공동 대응하는 방법은 별로 없다. 아세안이 통상문제에 공동의 목소리를 낼 정도로 이해가 동일하지도 않고, 통상압력의 대상이 되는 기업들이 다국적기업인 경우가 많기 때문이다. 따라서 아세안은 아세안경제공동체를 심화시키는데 주력하고 RCEP 및 EU와 FTA를 추진하는 등 간접적 대응을 하고 있다.

The purpose of this study is to primarily explore the characteristics of 'irony' and focus on the process of visualizing it. 'Irony' is one of the rhetorics used to describe the context or situational aspects of writing. This 'Dépaysement' that appears in art history corresponds to 'ironic' rhetoric in writing. 'Dépaysement' is a combination of techniques, which conveys a message through de-familiarizing rhetoric. With the images conflicting with each other in logic on the same canvas. 'Dépaysement' and 'ironic' rhetoric have commonalities in that they produce a situation with opposite or contradictory images and obscure the images and the situation by distorting them into being different from what has usually been known. In conclusion, Ironic Characteristics and Visual technique elements of dépaysement are identical, this study attempts to understand the visual language by analyzing 'the visual irony' that appears in artworks.

Celebrating its $50^{th}$ anniversary in 2017, the leaders of ASEAN member sates have adopted a series of declarations and action plans for enhancing its institutional capability and functional cooperation. ASEAN's convening power is expected to underpin its centrality and resilience. Meanwhile, ASEAN's retreat from democracy has increasingly become a hindrance for its further development. This article reviews the process of ASEAN's community building and its external relations. First, it argues that there is increasing concerns over ASEAN's limited capability in dealing with regional issues mainly caused by the deprivation of human rights and the democracy in crisis. Second, this article considers the dynamics of ASEAN's external relations mainly focusing on its relations with China, the United States, and South Korea. The South China Sea issue and China's increasing economic influence in the region have contributed to the complexity of ASEAN-China relations. The ASEAN's responses to the shift in American foreign policy under the Trump administration posits the unity of ASEAN. The New Southern Policy initiated by South Korean President, Moon Jae-in appears to be a new focal point of Korea-ASEAN relations despite considerable challenges, which requires to maintain ASEAN centrality.

The purpose of this study is to attempt a convergent study by analyzing modern funk ceramic artworks through 'Irony', which was mainly used in rhetoric and literature. The irony has come to modern times and has embraced the type of irony by Jung Keut-Byul, a literary critic who has discovered that the classifications and definitions are different from each other, and who has solved these problems and has newly classified the irony (the irony of oxymoron, the irony as a counterstatement, the irony of dramatic turn, the irony as a poetic truth) as a framework for analyzing the works of 20th century punk potters. As a result, the formative language found in funk ceramic art had many similarities with the irony of duality of surface and reality, and its humorous and comic character was more prominent than the heavy, melodramatic tone shown in literature. It was also found that the media characteristics and craft properties of ceramic art, such as clay and glaze, have become the drivers for ceramic sculptors to draw attention in funk art.

This study deals with the theoretical analysis of important audiovisual archives, specifically regarding the historical context of the given theme. The study will feature a historical review of the concept, which is the basis for audiovisual archive research, followed by the specificities of audiovisual archives in sharp contrast to public archives, libraries, and museums. Audiovisual archives will also be covered primarily regarding documentaries as well as places and institutions. The study will conclude with various issues of audiovisual archives in today's digital age. The study hopes to contribute to the growth of audiovisual archive research in Korea and the establishment of various audiovisual archives that will be addressed on a national level both in policy and in practice.

The Reference Model for an Open Archival Information system(OAIS) was recommended for developing digital archives effectively and for implementing interoperability and resource sharing between digital archives. But as the Reference Model is high-level recommendation, it does not specify a design and an implementation. Therefore, this study investigates the architecture of several digital archives, suggestes three strategies for persistent archive, and proposes the conceptual model for developing trusted, persistent, and secure digital archive.

As the animal rights movement has recently gained recognition as a social movement that represents one of society's minorities, it is now creating a new social and political perspective in the Korean society. This paper explores animal rights through their activism archives. The principles of community archives that can be applied to the animal rights movement are organized into four categories, and how the principles work according to the types of archives. Among these, the activism archive was selected, and the social meaning and issues of the animal archive were examined. We reviewed the issues of the activism archive in the case of KARA.

The culture archiving has attracted the public increasingly because of interest in culture and field extension of archival science. So researches have been conducted and many attempts have been tried to in everyday life archiving and village archiving. Although many studies explain appropriateness and give examples, theoretical study is rarely conducted. This Study explains the representation of the records in theoretical ways and the process of culture archiving. Also, this study reconsiders the documenting by archivists and suggests a value-based archiving method. For proving validity of this study, reviewed the possibility of representation classification system based on cultural contents is usable. I hope that this study contributes to discussion of the development of culture archiving methods.

This study aims to establish the definition of "event archive," which collects and manages records that focus on a specific event, in order to present a new perspective onto the collection and management of private records. As such, this study defines "event archive" and then identifies its characteristics by comparing it with community archives and locality archives. An event archive consists of person, spatiality, and temporality. As it puts an emphasis on temporality in particular, this study suggests a spiral model, which grafts person and spatiality onto a time axis. Moreover, this study suggests three considerations for the construction of an event archive. First, it presents different construction methods for different types of event archives depending on the time an event occurred. Second, it suggests records collection and management areas considering the three components of an event archive-person, spatiality, and temporality. Third, it supports a digital archive for an event archive to become an open archive.
