Identification of the Structural Relationship between Goal Orientation, Teaching Presence, Approaches to Learning, Satisfaction and Academic Achievement of Online Continuing Education Learners (원격평생교육 학습자의 목표지향성, 교수실재감, 학습접근방식, 만족도 및 학업성취도 간의 구조적 관계 규명)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural relationships among goal orientation, teaching presence, approaches to leaning, satisfaction and academic achievement. For this study, the web survey was administered to 235 learners who participated in distance lifelong education centers of A, B, and C university in South Korea. Structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis was conducted in order to examine the causal relationships among the variables. The results indicated that first, mastery-approach goal and teaching presence had positive effects on deep approach. Second, mastery-approach goal showed negative effects on surface approach, while teaching presence did not. Third, deep approach had positive effects on satisfaction, Fourth, surface approach had negative effects on satisfaction. Fifth, deep approach showed positive effects. Last, surface approach showed negative effects on academic achievement. Based on the result of the research, the study propose the constructive foundation for providing strategies raising the satisfaction and academic achievement in distance life-long education.

Strength of Improved Soil on the Work-conditions of Deep Mixing Method (시공조건에 따른 심층혼합처리 개량체의 강도에 관한 연구)

  • The deep soil mixing, on ground modification technique, has been used for many diverse applications including building and bridge foundations, port and harbor foundations, retaining structures, liquefaction mitigation, temporary support of excavation and water control. This method has the basic objective of finding the most efficient and economical method for mixing cement with soil to secure settlements through improvement of stability on soft ground. In this research, the experiments were conducted on a laboratory scale with the various test conditions of mixing method; the angle of mixing wing, mixing speed. Strength and shapes of improved soil of these test conditions of deep mixing method were analysed. From the study, it was found that the mixing conditions affect remarkably to the strength and shapes of improved soils.

Prediction of stock prices using deep neural network models including an emotional predictor based on online news by industrial groups (산업군별 온라인 뉴스에 기초한 감성 예측변수를 포함하는 심층 신경망모형에 의한 주가 예측)

  • We used a deep neural network model for the prediction of the stock prices of Kia Motors and Shinsegae as listed in the KOSPI 100. We used an emotional variable derived from online news in addition to the various technical indicators most often used. The emotional variable used as a predictor variable was generated from the average of the emotional scores for companies in the industrial group after building an emotional dictionary specific to each industrial group classified in a social network analysis. The study was conducted with various combinations of predictors and confirmed that good predictive and profitable power could be expected when jointly using technical indicators and an emotional variable based on online news by industrial groups.

Suggestions for Utilization of Supporters To Promote Public Libraries (공공도서관 홍보를 위한 서포터즈 활용에 대한 제언)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest for utilization of supporters to promote public libraries. To achieve the study purpose, in-depth interview with nine public library supporters of two public libraries was conducted. The data were analyzed using a qualitative method. The order in which the data analyzed is as follows: segmenting, first coding, in-depth coding, and theme discovery. According to the study results, the followings were suggested for the operation of public library supporters: 1) needed to assign roles based on supporters' capabilities and personal characteristic, 2) needed proactive role by the librarian in charge, 3) needed proactive role by the public library, 4) needed adequate rewards, 5) needed prior education about the public library.

  • The accident statistics use the data from police accident reports and statistics. Although the official accident statistics are useful, they provide very limited information about how accidents occur, the cause of the accident and the injury mechanisms. This limitations could be overcome by carrying out the in-depth accident study and analysing investigations, collecting more detailed information. Meanwhile a net of in-depth investigation teams are operating worldwide, such as NASS (National Accident Sampling System) and CIREN (Crash Injury Research and Engineering Network) in US, OTS (On the spot investigation) in UK. In this study, the database structure and variables of Korea in-depth accidents investigation system would be proposed through considering the database structure of GIDAS (Germany In-Depth Accidents Study). GIDAS is one of the best system on the in-depth accident study system in the world. GIDAS was established in 1999 as a cooperation project between Federal Highway Research Institute of Germany (BASt) and research association on automotive engineering of German Car Industry(FAT). The iGLAD (Initiative for the Global Harmonization of Accident Data) was also considered to introduce into the database variables of Korea in-depth accident study. Current police reports were compared with GIDAS and iGLAD. To collaborate of the Worldwide in-depth accident data, this paper proposed that the database of Korea in-depth accident study would be introduced the structure of GIDAS and the core variables of iGLAD. Harmonization of the structures and core variables of Korea in-depth accident study will be better than the making unique ones. The database structure and core variables of KIDAS(Korea In-Depth Accident Study) introduced of GIDAS and iGLAD.

  • 기계학습 알고리즘을 이용한 다양한 분야에서의 활용사례들이 우리 사회로 점차 확산되어가며, 기계학습을 통해 산출된 모델의 오동작을 유발할 수 있는 공격이 활발히 연구되고 있다. 특히, 한국에서는 딥러닝을 포함해 인공지능을 응용한 융합분야를 국가적 차원에서 추진하고 있으며, 만약 인공지능 모델 자체에서 발생하는 취약점을 보완하지 못하고 사전에 공격을 대비하지 않는다면, 뒤늦은 대응으로 인하여 관련 산업의 활성화가 지연될 수 있는 문제점이 발생할 수도 있다. 본 논문에서는 기계학습 모델에서, 특히 심층 신경망으로 구성되어 있는 모델에서 발생할 수 있는 공격들을 정의하고 연구 동향을 분석, 안전한 기계학습 모델 구성을 위해 필요한 시사점을 제시한다. 구체적으로, 가장 널리 알려진 적대적 사례(adversarial examples) 뿐 아니라, 프라이버시 침해를 유발하는 추론 공격 등이 어떻게 정의되는지 설명한다.

A Study on the Activation Method for Parents' Participation in School Education through Educational Information (교육정보화를 통한 학부모 학교교육 참여 촉진방안 연구)

  • In this research, we are looking for new ways to parents' participation in the school education through the educational information. The qualitative research about this research is not at all state. We use the method of study based on the grounded theory. The case analysis object is a outstanding school of the educational information in 2007, ten excellent schools of the cyber home service, two research schools 2 and two schools of research for NEIS. The parents make the learning check on situation of the students and communicate with school through the cyber home learning service and NIES. Also, It is bringing parents around the school closer through the SMS service and is communication path out of time and space. We make the things that make communications work through it. We know it is building trust with the parent and school.

Study on the Experiences of Subsurface Soil Remediation at Commercial Nuclear Power Plants in the United States (미국 원전의 심층토양 제염사례 연구)

  • Regulatory agency and licensee are preparing for the site restoration of Kori unit 1, the first commercial NPP in Korea, scheduled for 2031. Developing regulatory guidelines and strategies is essential for effective restoration work. Unfortunately, Korea does not have experience of site restoration of commercial NPPs. Therefore, it is important to review cases from experienced countries to establish a strategy and regulatory standards. The U.S. has had numerous soil remediation experiences using RESRAD and MARSSIM. However, formalized evaluation methodologies for subsurface soil have not yet been established in MARSSIM. This survey focused on subsurface soil remediation by reviewing the five decommissioned NPPs under regulation of the US NRC. Overall process of remediating a contaminated subsurface soil and groundwater was reviewed to identify considerations and lessons that could be applicable in Korea. In addition, an applied methodology for evaluation of contaminated subsurface soil and related major issues between regulatory agency and licensees were reviewed in detail to support establishment of remediation strategy for Kori unit 1.

  • 물리 시뮬레이션 기반의 캐릭터 동작 제어 문제를 강화학습을 이용하여 해결해 나가는 연구들이 계속해서 진행되고 있다. 이에 따라 이 문제를 강화학습을 이용하여 풀 때, 영향을 미치는 요소에 대한 연구도 계속해서 진행되고 있다. 우리는 지금까지 이뤄지지 않았던 상태 표현 방식에 따른 강화학습에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 첫째로, root attached frame, root aligned frame, projected aligned frame 3 가지 좌표계를 정의하였고, 이에 대해 표현된 상태를 이용하여 강화학습에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 둘째로, 동역학적 상태를 나타내는 캐릭터 관절의 위치, 각도에 따라 학습에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다.

  • 구문 분석이란 문장을 단어, 어절, 구 등의 구성 성분으로 분해하고 각각의 구조적 정보를 분석하여 문장의 구조를 알아내는 작업을 말한다. 최근 의존 구문 분석은 심층 신경망을 이용하는 방법이 활발히 연구되고 있다. 특히 포인터 네트워크를 사용하는 방법은 다른 심층 신경망보다 높은 성능을 보이고 있다. 그러나 포인터 네트워크의 사용만으로 의존 관계와 의존 관계명을 예측하는 것은 한계가 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 최근 사용하는 단어 표상 방법 별로 비교 실험을 진행하고 의존 구문 분석에서 GloVe의 성능이 가장 좋음을 보인다. 또한 언어 모델을 통한 단어 표상 방법인 ELMo와 멀티헤드 어텐션을 사용하여 포인터 네트워크만을 사용 했을 때보다 높은 성능(UAS 92.85%, LAS 90.65%)을 보였다.
