In dental esthetics, soft tissue plays an important part, probably very large portion of it. A clear understanding of the periodontal tissues and its management around teeth and implants help us to develop concepts for a modern dental treatment that addresses the needs of demanding patients in regard of esthetics and durability. When we talk about esthetic, we can say that one of the most important element is a harmonization with gingiva (soft tissue) called 'Pink Esthetic' As for the pink esthetics, gingival line(contour) takes most of the influence on esthetic result; it consists of labial gingival level, interproximal papilla height, and a line that connects them. In the gingival recession, labial gingival level and gingival contour move to the apical portion, and the root area is exposed. It leads to the unesthetic result. Root coverage technique is classically used to treat gingival recession (marginal tissue recession) of natural teeth. It is an essential technique on periodontal plastic surgery part. It is also a very useful technique to recover soft tissue problems in implant dentistry. So, root coverage technique must be mastered for a good implant esthetic result. The general overview of root coverage procedures will be discussed with step by step explanation to get more esthetic result.

For successful restoration of maxillary anterior implants, both pink esthetics and white esthetics must be satisfied. For pink esthetic part, the role of appropriate provisional prosthesis restoration is important, and for white esthetic part, the color and shape of the definitive prosthesis is important. Multilayer zirconia can be used for natural tooth appearance due to the higher transparency of the incisal area compared to the conventional monolithic zirconia. Therefore, in this case, white esthetic part was achieved through multilayer zirconia after recovering function and esthetics through appropriate provisional prosthesis in a patient who lost the maxillary anterior teeth.

To achieve an esthetic restoration, visualized information considering the facial aspect of patient is required. As for the reasons of esthetic failure, it could be explained by lack of communication and information such as horizontal, vertical and esthetic line. Therefore, it is important to deliver that the visualized information to dental technicians or other dentists for the success of esthetic treatment. This case report presents the process of visualizing esthetic information and designing the restoration using a digital diagnostic tool; Digital Smile Design.

In spite of the word esthetics having been familiar to us during the last twenty odd years, difficulties are still faced nowadays as if new challenges constantly emerge. This is perhaps best interpreted as a tendency to avoid dealing with it owing to the fact we are not quite used to it. It is probably a lack of a basic roadmap for esthetics, not of evolution. Every prosthesis has its own strengths and weaknesses. Expected results would be obtained if and when the patient's adaptation to prosthesis is correctly anticipated, appropriate diagnoses made and optimal pre-operative measures taken. At this stage, communication and patient information sharing between the dentist and dental technician are very important factors in the treatment process, as well as each party's unique specialized role. It would not be an exaggeration to state that the success of a lab made prosthesis would depend on how well these factors have been systemized. Based upon the above treatment procedures, it is now intended to examine esthetic prostheses involving porcelain laminate veneers that enable the most conservative treatment with the most significant favorable characteristics.

By utilizing 3D image data from oral and facial scans, virtual patients can be created, allowing clinicians to accurately assess the occlusal plane and the aesthetic position and form of anterior teeth in relation to facial scan data. This integration enhances the predictability of aesthetic prosthetic treatments, reduces the potential for occlusal interferences and adjustments, and facilitates effective communication with patients during the diagnostic process. In this case report, a patient with skeletal Class III malocclusion had both oral and facial scans to generate a virtual patient during the diagnostic phase. Based on this virtual model, prostheses were designed and fabricated, resulting in an efficient and clinically satisfactory outcome both aesthetically and functionally.

There are frequent cases of retreatment due to lack of communication between dentists and dental technicians during general prosthetic treatment. The success of large-scale therapy begins with small treatments. This report reminds you of the importance of communication through a simple example. To reproduce better colors and shapes, the dentist must provide specific and accurate information and feedback to the dental technician, and the dental technician must have the skills to accurately analyze and express it. In this process, we need to create an environment where we can exchange mutual opinion and produce better prostheses.
