Exploring the Mediating Effect of Product Novelty of Business Ventures on the Relationship between Product Development Strategy Implementation and Performance (벤처기업의 제품개발 전략 실행과 제품개발 성과간의 관계에서 제품 혁신성의 매개효과 검증)

  • This study examines the mediating effect of product innovation on the relationship between product development strategy implementation and product development performance of business ventures. The previous researches on product development has mainly focused on the role of venture firms' technological capabilities or that of entrepreneurship in product development. Although there are many important discussions related to the product development of business venture, a more discussion on the relationship between product development strategy implementation and performance of product development is needed. The purpose of current study is to examine the relationship between the entrepreneurial orientation and the R&D department on product development performance. To confirm the model of Day & Wensley(1988) that product novelty mediates the relationship between product development strategy and product development performance. The research results of 703 Korean business ventures suggest that the implementation strategies for product development such as utilizing entrepreneurial orientation and R&D department are more effective for business ventures in terms of product development performance. Also product novelty was prove to be a mediator that intervene the relationships between implementation of product development strategy and product development performance. Those findings may provide implications for whom has interested in the relationship between entrepreneurship and product development performance of business ventures. The differences in between new and existing product performance from the implementation strategy of product development may provide implications for practitioners who understand the process of product development.

Impact of KM Strategies on KM Performance (지식경영의 추진전략이 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of the research is to investigate the impact of the implementation and recognition for KM strategies on KM performances in public enterprises. The research identified critical factors of KM strategies and performances through literature review, measured the degrees of implementation and significance recognition for the strategies targeting public enterprises, and analyzed the KM performance levels based on the combined degrees of the implementation and the recognition for KM strategies. The findings illustrate that not only the KM strategies implementation, but also the significance recognition can affect the KM performances. The researchers urge that organizations, in advance, should request their employees' understanding and significance recognition for KM strategies to successfully implement their knowledge management.

  • 본 연구는 사용자 특성 중 조직에서 통제 가능한 요인의 사용자의 태도 및 교육· 훈련이 정보시스템이 실행 성과에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구 에서는 최근 신정보시스템으로 전환한 D사의 사용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 다음 과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 사용자 태도와 교육·훈련은 각각 독립적으로 정보시스템의 실행 성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사용자 태도와 교육·훈련이 결합한 상 호작용 효과는 시스템 사용도에는 유의적인 효과를 미쳤지만, 사용자 만족도에는 유의적인 효과를 미쳤지만, 사용자 만족도에는 유의적인 효과를 미치지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 이러 한 연구 결과에 비추어 볼 때, 조직에서 정보시스템의 실행 성과를 높이기 위해서는 사용자 태도를 호의적으로 변화시키고, 사용자에 대한 교육·훈련을 많이 시켜야 하며, 특히 사용자 에 대한 교육·훈련은 차별화하여 실시하여야 한다는 것이다.

  • This paper presents research result of digital marketing model for improving enterprise marketing campaign performance. Recently, the enterprises which had completed projects such as ERP, CRM, and SCM for business value chain process transformation are working to improve enterprise marketing process. It is the trend for enterprises to use digital marketing tactics to overcome the limit of existing traditional marketing tactics. Especially, enterprises try to adopt digital marketing for marketing campaign performance. In this paper, digital marketing research model and hypothesis were established and statistically analyzed by marketing expert survey research. The research finding is that Web Analytics, Social Analytics, Personalized CRM, Campaign execution automation, Real-Time campaign management can be core influencers for marketing campaign performance improvement.

  • This study intends to identify the effects of user attitude, user education & training on the information systems implementation performance. In order to obtain data, survey questionnaires were distributed to the users of 'D' company, the major findings can be summarized as follows. First, it's suggested from the analyses that user attitude and user education & training independently have statistically significant effects on information systems implementation performance. Second, it's revealed that even though the interaction effects by both user attitude and user education & training have positive effects on the level of usage, but have no statistically significant effects on satisfaction level. Based on these results, it's recommended to convert user attitude favorably toward user environment and to increase the level of user education & training, in order to promote information systems implementation performance. Especially, differentiated user education & training are highly recommended.

  • Today, shipping companies have shown the positive volition to the finding of chanced market through the development of new route with the new recognition and enhancement of competitiveness on the quality management in order to cope with the sharply-changing environment of shipping industry. Accordingly, this study is an empirical study which attempts the general and situational approach in order to clarify what TQM source, Activities and performance affect the enterprises and how it is different upon the step of quality management activities in the object of the incidental business related to the oceangoing and costal transportation, and marine and the groups related to the marines, subdividing the area of offering the shipping service.

  • 효과적인 성과지표는 기업 경영의 핵심역량 중의 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 R&D 부서의 성과지표를 수립하는 정량적이고 체계적인 절차를 실제 기업 사례를 통해 제시하고, 각 단계별 성과지표 수립 프로세스와 필요한 방법론을 정의한다. 제안된 방법론은 핵심성공요인 도출, 후보 성과지표 도출, 성과지표 수립, 실행 및 모니터링의 단계를 거쳐 핵심 성과 지표 (Key Performance Indicator)를 수립한다. 성과 지표 수립 단계에서는 성과지표별 가중치 수립을 위해 AHP(Analytical Hierarchy Planning)기법을 사용하였으며, 부서별 효율성을 단일한 지표로 분석하기 위해 실행 단계에서 DEA(Data Envelop Analysis)기법을 사용하였다. 개발된 방법론은 반도체 기업의 R&D 부문 성과 지표 수립 및 평가에 적용되었다.

  • 원자력발전소는 원자로의 증기발생기에서 생산한 증기의 압력으로 터빈발전기를 돌려서 발전을 하고 있다. 터빈속도를 제어하는 디지털식 터빈 조속기는 마이크로프로세서를 기반으로 하는 디지털식 제어기가 널리 사용하고 있으며, 조속기에 사용되는 제어기는 빠른 제어 응답성과 높은 신뢰성을 요구하고 있으므로 제어 프로그램의 실행속도에 따라서 제어의 특성과 질이 좌우 될 수 있다. 디지털식 제어기는 제어프로그램을 순차적으로 반복 실행하며, 중요도에 따라서 몇 개의 그룹으로 나누어 실행 주기를 달리함으로써 제어기의 과도한 부하율을 피하고 있다. 이렇게 함으로써 빠른 제어 응답성과 시스템 안정성을 모두 만족하는 실행주기로 최적화하는 과정이 필요하여 본 시험을 하였으며 이러한 제어특성을 사전에 확인하여 원자력발전소의 아날로그식 조속기를 디지털식 조속기로 개선을 하고자 시험한 사례를 소개한다.

Analysis of Causal Relationship among TQM Implementation Factors, Managerial Goals of Production System and Organizational Performance, Using Path Analysis (경로분석을 이용한 TQM실행요인, 생산관리 목표와 경영성과 간의 인과관계분석)

  • This study tried to test hypotheses, using path analysis, whether the implementation factors of TQM have influences to organization performance through achieving the managerial goals of production, or not. This is an attempt to perform comprehensive analysis instead of using the simple correlation approach between the implementation factors and performances. In order to perform the empirical test, this study has surveyed 98 firms which acquired the ISO authentication and analyzed the data using the path analysis of AMOS. After testing the hypotheses of this study, the cause factor, i.e. TQM implementation factor, has effective influences to the goals of production system, and, also, the goals have a significant influence to managerial performance. Therefore, this study concludes that the implementation factors of TQM have significant effects on the managerial performance.
