  • The current tendency on development and change of equipment system in the factory are overlapped with the specific field of the existing systems such as PLC, DCS and SCADA, and the limited portion of the systems in the specific field stands in their own field. Specially, systematic integration, inspection control system and manufacturing management system, management information system are getting closely linked and therefore we increasingly need the open system. Meeting the needs, manufacturing automated equipments in the factory overcoming the shortcomings of unlinked unit equipment recently are getting changed to the phase closely linking with other systems. The training systems for the university, however, have not kept up with the needs from the industry, in spite that fused complex function and performance are asked in the field. To solve the problems, we suggest that the training courses and the equipment designed for the undergraduate education.

  • This study was to examine the generative process, contents and normative practice of social workers practice knowledge and grope the suggestion for the reconstruction of social work knowledge. The authors approched with reflective narrative method, Data were collected from six social workers who have engaged in social work. As result, when they have confronted unaccountable phenomenon they generated knowledge through self - reflection and these confirmed, reproduced through normative practice. The researchers proposed the abduction resoning form for the knowledge development method in social work practice field, the reinforcement of human studies in social workers educational process, reconstruction of the network practice.

  • This study investigated the relation between social worker's reflective thinking levels and the usage of social work practice skills. Dewey definded reflective thinking as active, persistent and careful consideration of any belief. And social work practice skills refer to those purposeful intervention activities, that are intended to alleviate client's distress, enhancing a client's coping abilities. Reflctive thinking levels consists of intensive reflection, reflection, understanding and habit action. The key of social work practice skills can be categorized into three major categories: supportive skills, therapeutic coping skills and case management skills. These categories were designed to apply to a diverse range of client populations. This paper proves that social work's reflective thinking ability and interactions with other workers have an effect on the intervention activities. In conclusion, this research indicates that if social works have a higher reflective thinking levels, they will creat practice siklls and social work practice knowledge.

  • In addition to the quantitative growth of domestic field placement, there is a growing interest in global field placement and participation of government and universities is increasing. The global field experience of university students provides students with advanced skills and experience of overseas companies as well as opportunities to acquire foreign language ability and global culture suitable for industrial needs that require global competence. Students can cultivate global mind and major practical skills so that it has the advantage of linking to overseas employment. In order to be successful global field placement, the university has to promote to participate in the company including the curriculum related to the student's major and provide comprehensive support including student safety, but the resources of the university are only limited. In this paper, we propose a method to activate global field placement in cooperation with local partner universities based on Kumoh Institute of Technology case study.

  • The choice of appropriate methodologies has always been a challenge. It is time to find obstacles when Extreme programming(XP) is adopted. In this paper, we invest status of adoption of XP methodology which is more popularized. We survey how the Values and the Practices of XP can be adopted to developer in terms of the usefulness and the easy of use of XP. As a result, it is regarded as a successful one in improving quality and timeliness through software development process. The Values and Practices, a basis of XP philosophy and its adoption, could be easily accomplished, but other elements - communication, feedback. collective ownership, pair programming, simple design and customer participation - which do not depend on technology could not be accomplished easily. To introduce XP easily in the creative and labor intensive software development fields, the managers and the educators have to make efforts to apply these Values and Practices based on humane characteristics as well as technical elements.

  • The purpose of this study are to provide the basic data materials and implementations for successful performance of electric-work field representatives of South Korean firms by identifying their roles and competency and examining their educational need. For this research purposes, three phased analysis was followed on: (1) the roles of electric-work field representatives, (2) competency of electric-work field representatives and (3) educational need for their competency. This research method was to conduct a focus group interview for 10 expert field representatives along with survey. The collected data materials were processed by MS Excel and SPSS 21.0 for statistical analysis including average, standard deviation and other basic statistics; the gap in awareness of field representatives; and need values. For the needs analysis, the difference between significance of field representatives' competency and current status was examined by t test. And the awareness gap between competency importance and current status was identified based on the Borich equation. The Locus for Focus model was employed herein to identify the kinds of competency with high importance and high inconsistency to prioritize. As a result, this research has found as follows: first, the roles of field representatives were found to be in 13 different kinds of roles. Second, electric-work field representatives were found to need to have 16 different skills. Third, regarding the 16 abilities, the gap between current status and significance was analyzed herein. The results showed statistically significant differences in all cases. The Borich needs analysis found the first required ability was communication ability followed by power of execution, conflict management ability, analytical thinking and time management ability. Also, the results of Locus for Focus model analysis displayed that the first quadrant(HH) included 7 highly-demanded abilities of communication ability, analytical thinking, decision making ability, specialty, time management ability, power of execution and drive for work implementation. The top-priority group was found to have 5 items of communication ability, analytical thinking, time management ability, power of execution and drive for work implementation which were commonly seen in the Locus for Focus model outcomes. Based on these findings, this research could identify the roles and competency of electric-work field representatives and provide the basic data materials applicable to future personal management of electricity companies including recruitment, division of work, job description, evaluation, etc. Also this research offered guidelines on demanded abilities in the field and where to place priority. The kinds of abilities with high educational demand as found in this research must be considered in designing educational programs for the competency building of field representatives. This research is expected to provide useful information in developing such educational programs for field representatives.
