Development of Job Burnout and Job Stress Relife Program for the Nursing Care Workers based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT) (수용전념치료(ACT) 기반 요양보호사 직무 소진, 직무스트레스 완화 프로그램 개발과 적용)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an ACT group counseling program for the purpose of alleviating and healing the job stress and burnout of nursing care workers and to verify the effectiveness of the ACT group counseling program. To this end, the goal and theoretical model, content, operation and evaluation of the program were composed and applied according to the procedure. The main research results are as follows. First, as a result of measuring the job stress of the study subjects, there was a positive change in the group participating in the program. Second, as a result of measuring the level of job burnout of the study subjects, there was a positive change in the group participating in the program. Third, as a result of measuring the level of role conflict of the study subjects, there was a positive change in the group participating in the program. Fourth, as a result of measuring the level of over-role of the study subjects, there was a positive change in the group participating in the program. Fifth, as a result of measuring the level of role ambiguity of the study subjects, there was a positive change in the group participating in the program. As a practical implication, by including the ACT theory and practice plan in various nursing care providers training courses, the ability to respond to job burnout and job stress is increased, and ultimately, by increasing the psychological flexibility of nursing care workers, the opportunity for essential change in attitude toward work and life describe what to provide.

Identifying latent classes about the changing trajectories of child maltreatment by child developmental period (아동발달시기별 아동학대 변화궤적 유형 비교 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify groups depending on the change trajectory of child maltreatment in childhood and early adolescence. For this study, the data from waves two through six (2011-2015) of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) were used. Participants included first-grade (n=2,300) and fourth-grade (n=2,325) elementary school students. A latent class growth model (LCGM) using Mplus 7.21 was adopted to classify the types of developmental trajectories of child maltreatment. The main results were as follows: First, in physical abuse, childhood from the second to the sixth grades was classified into four groups: decreased, low maintenance, increased, and no maltreatment type. In addition, early adolescence from the fifth grade of elementary school to the third grade of middle school was also classified into the same types. Second, in emotional abuse, childhood was classified into three groups: decreased, increased, and no maltreatment type. Early adolescence was classified into four groups: decreased, low maintenance, increased, and no maltreatment type. Third, in neglect, childhood was classified into four groups: maintenance, low decreasing, low increasing, and no maltreatment type. Early adolescence was classified into three groups: maintenance, low increasing, and no maltreatment type. According to the change of child maltreatment by developmental period, physical abuse continued from childhood to early adolescence, whereas emotional abuse and neglect increased in early adolescence compared to childhood. This study is meaningful in classifying latent classes depending on maltreatment types. Theoretical and practical implications were suggested based on the study results.

Development and Application of Middle School Students Maker Education Program using Arduino based on Design Thinking (아두이노를 활용한 디자인씽킹 기반의 중학생 메이커 교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop and apply a Design Thinking-based Maker education program utilizing Arduino for middle school students. The study progress was made in four stages of preparation, development, implementation and evaluation according to the PDIE model. In this study, experts were verified for validity and pre-applied to students to improve the maker education program developed based on literature review. Then, it was applied to middle school club classes to check the effects through analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. In addition, the development of the program was completed by supplementing the improvements found in the course. The results of this study are as follows. First, the topics of the maker education program that can be used in middle schools were selected in consideration of the analysis of the 2015 revised curriculum, methods to using the Arduino, and social interest. Second, the program developed based on the selected topic consists of 4 classes of maker basic learning and 16 classes of design thinking-based maker activities. Third, the developed maker education program had a significant effect in improving STEAM literacy of middle school students, but did not have any significant effect in the interest in technology and orientation towards an engineering career. Fourth, learners were interested in the activities of designing and freely making by themselves, and they positively evaluated the experience of realizing the physical computing with Arduino. In addition, they practiced the spirit of a maker, such as autonomously collecting data and sharing them with colleagues, etc. while acting as a maker.

The Mediating Effects on Relationship Quality Between Support Services of Franchisor and Re-Contract Intention in Food Service Franchise (외식 프랜차이즈 가맹본부 지원서비스와 재계약 의도 간의 관계품질의 매개효과에 관한 연구)

  • This paper aims to investigate the moderating effects of relationship quality between support services of food service franchisor and performance(re-contract intention) in food service franchise. For analyzing the relationship of them, the support services of food service franchisor categorized with initial service and continuous service. Also, the factors of relationship quality(satisfaction, trust, commitment) classified into detailed subfactor by confirmatory factor analysis. As a result, we found some statistically significant effects between the support services of food service franchisor and factors of relationship quality, and they sequentially affects to re-contract intention. Also, it's analyzed that factors of relationship quality have a role as a moderating variables by research model. That is, as a presented with previous research, there is verified that relationship quality is caused by support services of food service franchisor. Also, relationship quality factors significantly affect to performance(re-contract intention). Some guidelines for practicing potential food service franchise as a result of this would include; first of all, it is important to support the potential food service franchise consulting approach for some competitive advantage; secondly, effective governmental support programs for food service franchise should be developed for positive impacts of according to these results.

Development of Climate Change Education Program in High School Based on CLAMP Inquiry of Fossil Leaves (잎화석의 CLAMP 탐구를 통한 고등학교 기후변화 교육 프로그램 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a STEAM program for teaching climate change through CLAMP (Climate-Leaf Analysis Multivariate Program) paleoclimate inquiry in connection with high school 'Integrated Science' subject. In order to do so, we analyzed the 2015 revised national curriculum and science textbook in terms of the PDIE instructional design model, and developed the teaching-learning materials for 10 class hours through expert panel discussion and pilot test. According to the STEAM class procedure, in the situation presentation stage, the fossil leaves were collected from the dicotyledon plants near school, and the LMA (Leaf Margin Analysis) climate inquiry activity. was presented as the learning goal. During the creative design stage, students were taught about geology and leaf fossils in the study region, and CLAMP input data (31 characteristics of morphotype and leaf architectural of fossil leaves) were given. In the emotional experience and new challenge stage, we collected leaf fossils for outdoor learning, explored paleoclimate with CLAMP method, and promoted climatic literacy in the process of discussing tendencies and causes of Cenozoic's climate change. The validity of the development program was assessed (CVI .84) as being suitable for development purpose in all items through the process of establishing reliability among expert panel. In order to apply the program to the high school, a pilot test was conducted to supplement the discrepancies and to review the suitability. The satisfaction rate of the participants was 4.48, and the program was complemented with their opinions. This study will enable high school students to have practical knowledge and reacting volition for climate change, and contribute to fostering students' climate literacy.

The Heterogeneous Trajectories of Functional Disability in Older Adults and Their Predictors (노년기 기능장애의 이질적 발달궤적과 예측요인)

  • The current study aims to identify the heterogeneous changes of functional disabilities in old age rather than to identify an average longitudinal pattern and to explore the effect of health status and social status as risk factors in functional disability trajectories. The sample consisted of a representative sample of community dwellers aged 65 and older from the Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing (2006 - 2012) was the focus of the study. Latent Class Growth Analysis was used to identify the functional disability trajectory groups. Variables regarding health status and social status changes by class were identified using multinomial logistic regression. The results showed various change patterns in functional disability, which include independent (78%), stable high (4.4%), steeply increasing (7.1%), slightly increasing (5.5%), and moderate to low (4.7%). Aggravation in depressive symptoms and cognitive functions as well as decline in social participations and social engagements were significant predictors of membership in increasing group of functional disability. The findings provide important initial empirical information to target clinical practice and have implications in the importance of conducting research on groups with different characteristics.

A Study of Teaching-Learning Practices in Education Center for the Talented in Invention (발명 영재 교육기관의 교수-학습 실태 분석)

  • This study tried to look into what are happening in the 'class for the talented in invention' using COS-R developed by VanTassel-Baska. Teaching and learning activities within the classroom were observed and analyzed in terms of teacher's observation and teacher's observation, respectively. Based on results of this study, conclusions are as follows. First, it was founded that there are some commonalities between teacher observations and student observations. Based on teacher observations, differentiated teaching activities considering individual characteristics are rarely observed, and for students, it was true. Therefore, supplying a special training program for teachers are needed in order to make teachers and students engage in changing their teaching and learning behaviors. Second, on the side of teachers, they usually emphasize the importance of curriculum planning and implementation, problem solving, creative thinking et al. However, they barely stress the characteristics of research methods, critical thinking, and considering individual characteristics and the level of intellectual ability. Third, on the side of students, they frequently respond to solving problems and critical thinking at the same degree. On the other hand, systemic efforts of considering individual differences and adapting to them have been less regarded in both teaching and learning. In sum, for the successful 'Invention gifted classroom', establishing an educational environment to consider individually guided instruction and taking a balance among various factors embedded in teaching and learning situation should be required.

Ontology Development of School Bullying for Social Big Data Collection and Analysis (소셜빅데이터 수집 및 분석을 위한 아동청소년 학교폭력 온톨로지 개발)

  • Although social big data can provide a multi-faceted perspective on school bullying experiences among children and adolescents, the complexity and variety of unstructured text presents a challenge for systematic collection and analysis of the data. Development of an ontology, which identifies key terms and their intricate relationships, is crucial for extracting key concepts and effectively collecting data. The current study elaborated on the definition of an ontology, carefully described the 7 stage development process, and applied the ontology for collecting and analyzing school bullying social big data. As a result, approximately 2,400 key terms were extracted in top-, middle-, and lower-level categories, concerning domains of participants, causes, types, location, region, and intervention. The study contributes to the literature by explaining the ontology development process and proposing a novel alternative research model that uses social big data in school bullying research. Findings from this ontology study may provide a basis for social big data research. Practical implications of this study lie in not only helping to understand the experience of school bullying participants, but also in offering a macro perspective on school bullying as a social phenomenon.

The Effect of Person-Job Fit on Job Satisfaction for the Employees of the Service Sector: Focused on the Mediating Effects of Perceived Organizational Support (서비스직 근로자의 개인-직무 적합성과 직무만족 관계에서 조직후원인식의 매개효과 분석)

  • This study examined the mediating effects of perceived organizational support (POS) on the relationship between the person-job fit and job satisfaction of service workers. POS is divided into socioemotional POS and instrumental POS. To achieve the research purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted on workers in charge of service jobs in domestic companies through an on-line survey system and finally, the results of 281 respondents were analyzed to verify the hypothesized research model with an 80.3% effective recovery rate. The findings are as follows. First, the person-job fit has positive effects on job satisfaction and POS. Second, among the sub-constructs of POS, socioemotional support has mediating effects, but instrumental support has no mediating effects on the relationship between person-job fit and job satisfaction. Based on the results of this study, this study suggests theoretical and practical implications for the human resource development and management of service workers. Overall, changes in the recruitment system, which can judge the person-job fit of employees who perform emotional labor facing customers, organizational culture and personnel system for establishing socioemotional support system, and compensation and workforce development system, are needed to enhance the job satisfaction of service workers.

A Study on Factors Influencing the Recovery of People with a Mental Disorder: With a Focus on the Moderating Effects of Family Resilience (정신장애인의 회복에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 : 가족탄력성의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze empirically influential factors related to the recovery of people with a mental disorder and also the moderating effects of family resilience. For this purpose, the investigator developed a research model that took into consideration both the positive and negative elements of individual and social factors based on the ecological, psychological, social, and ecosystem perspectives in previous studies and checked their causal effects and the moderating effects of family resilience in statistical significance. The subjects include 112 clients at an institution for people with a mental disorder. Data was collected with an interview based on a structured questionnaire. Collected data was put to the multiple regression analysis. The analysis results show that there was statistical significance in self-esteem, social stigma, and social support excluding symptoms and that the moderating effects of family resilience had positive(+) synergistic effects only on self-esteem and social support. Based on these results, the study made proposals about practice strategies including the establishment of internal and external support systems to make an effective approach to recovery and the systemization of family resilience and supportive strategies to promote the smooth recovery of people with a mental disorder through the reinforcement of programs related to the confirmed positive elements of self-esteem and social support.
