An Estimation for Highway Trip Demand Functions Based upon Time Series Analysis (시계열 분석을 통한 고속도로 통행수요함수의 추정)

  • The objective of this study is to estimate highway trip demand functions in Korea. In order to estimate them, I propose various socio-economic variables that affect the highway trip demand functions. I use the unit root test for each variable and the cointegration test to and the relationships among variables. Finally, I use the vector error correction model, to get the highway trip demand functions. The implication which I derive from the estimation is that real GDP and highway tolls have positive and negative effects, respectively. on the highway trip demand.

  • 일본원자력산업회의 조사에 의하면 1987년도 일본원자력발전소의 설비이용률(Fugen 포함)은 $77.1\%$를 기록, 고가동율이었던 전년도 $(75.7\%)$를 상회하는 사상최고의 설비이용률을 달성했다. 이것은 년1회 정기검사를 실시하고 있는 일본에 있어서는 실질적인 최고수준이다. 다음에 통산성의 자료와 일본원산의 운전실적데이터를 기초로 1987년도 일본원전의 운전실적을 소개한다.

  • The amount of data generated from medical images is increasingly exceeding the limits of professional visual analysis, and the need for automated medical image analysis is increasing. For this reason, this study evaluated the classification and accuracy according to the presence or absence of tumor using Inception V3 deep learning model, using MRI medical images showing normal and tumor findings. As a result, the accuracy of the deep learning model was 90% for the training data set and 86% for the validation data set. The loss rate was 0.56 for the training data set and 1.28 for the validation data set. In future studies, it is necessary to secure the data of publicly available medical images to improve the performance of the deep learning model and to ensure the reliability of the evaluation, and to implement modeling by improving the accuracy of labeling through labeling classification.

  • This paper describes a method for stemming of Korean language by using unsupervised learning from raw corpus. This technique does not require a lexicon or any language-specific knowledge. Since we use unsupervised learning, the time and effort required for learning is negligible. Unlike heuristic approaches that are theoretically ungrounded, this method is based on widely accepted statistical methods, and therefore can be easily extended. The method is currently applied only to Korean language, but it can easily be adapted to other agglutinative languages, since it is not language-dependent.

  • Acceleration in integration density and speed performance of ULSI circuits require miniaturization of CMOS and interconnections as well as higher current density capabilities for transistors. A leading candidate to substitute Al-alloy is Cu, which has lower resistivity and higher melting point. So we can expect much higher electromigration resistance. In this paper, we are going to explain the major features of EM for MOCVD Cu according to variant conditions. We compared the life time and activation energy of MOCVD Cu with those of I-beam Cu and AA in the same conditions. The electromigration experiments were performed with Cu/Al/TiN multilayer. Experimental results shows that the deposition rate and electromigration characteristics of Cu thin film were improved by the Al interlayer.

  • A 24 year old man visited our hospital, because an intrapulmonary foreign body had been found incidentally. Simple chest X-ray showed a 5 cm sized foreign body of metallic density, and chest CT confirmed the foreign body, which was like a sewing needle, in the left upper lobe. We performed a simple extraction of the foreign body using VATS (Video Assisted Thoracic Surgery). After the operation, the patient was discharged without any complications.
