Online rumor creates psychological stress and image loss for victims. Prior studies related to online rumor did not consider the online environmental factor, despite the fact that online rumor occurs in the online space. Therefore, this study tried to investigate the influence of online characteristics on online rumor. This study considered perceived anonymity, lack of social presence, and perceived dissemination as online characteristics. We established and demonstrated a research model in which online characteristics affect online rumor behavior through attitude toward online rumor. This study obtained the sample of 201 social network users based on the survey and verified the research model using PLS tool. The results provided that perceived anonymity and perceived dissemination influenced online rumor behavior through attitude toward online rumor. On the other hand, lack of social presence was not significant. The findings of this study provide the fact that an individual's online rumor behavior can be caused by online characteristics. This study suggests that we pay attention to the role of perceived anonymity and perceived dissemination for online rumor behavior.

실체 유물론과 인과 결정론이 개인의 자유와 동일성을 실질적으로 열어주려면 사건 원인 외에 행위자 원인의 여지를 허용해야 한다. 그 두 가지 원인은 법칙적 일반적 결정의 개념과 합리적 개성적 결정의 개념을 지니고 있다. 개성의 인과적 역할은 법칙화할 수 없는 물질성의 여지를 남긴다. 바로 그 가능성이 인간의 자유와 동일성의 실질적 복권의 가능성이다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the antecedents and consequences of perceived fairness of assessment in an online class, such as Google classroom. Based on an extensive literature review, a research model and research questions were designed. We found that the perceived interactivity of contents and social presence were found to be antecedents of perceived fairness of assessment. Further, perceived fairness of assessment was found to have a substantial influence on class satisfaction and achievement.

In his book Worlds and Individuals: Possible and Otherwise, Takashi Yagisawa Yagisawa argues that his own theory is better than Lewis's theory by showing that his own theory can deal with important objections to modal realism more successfully than Lewis's. In particular, Yagisawa claims that by adopting modal tenses, he can respond to many important objections to modal realism in a uniform way. In this paper, I argue that Lewis can also successfully respond to Peacocke's objection in an exactly parallel way to Yagisawa's by distinguishing existence at the actual world from existence at other possible worlds and that Yagisawa's response to van Inwagen's objection does not succeed. I conclude that Yagisawa fails to show that his own theory is better than Lewis's.

실감 재현이 중요한 가상현실 응용에서는 사용자에게 고급 그래픽 환경을 제시하고 사용자의 인터랙션에 즉각적인 피드백을 제공함으로서 실재감과 몰입감을 증대시키는 연구가 진행되어왔다. 실재감, 공간감 전달을 위해 시각과 청각을 함께 활용하는 것이 효과적이나, 가상공간의 특징을 반영한 3차원 사운도 재현 연구는 국내외 통틀어 초기단계에 머물러 있다. 실재감과 공간감을 반영한 3차원 사운드의 재현을 위해서는 음원의 전파, 반사, 잔향 풍의 계산이 사용자의 인터랙션에 따라 새롭게 계산되어야한다. 그러나 사운드 전파경로와 공간을 이루는 모든 폴리곤들과의 충돌을 검사하며 반사 등을 계산하는 것은 실시간성이 중요한 가상현실응용에서는 무리가 따르므로 실 시간성을 보장하기 위한 계산량 축소가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 다수의 음원이 존재하는 복잡한 가상공간에서의 3차원 사운드를 재현하기 위하여 사운드 신과 계산에 필요한 최소한의 정보를 가지는 오디오 씬 그라프의 공간을 재구성하고 다수의 음원을 대상으로 음원 축소 및 군집화를 적용하여 3차원 사운드효과를 실시간으로 재현하는 알고리즘을 제안한다.

This paper, as an initiative to fertilize analyses on women's technoscientific practices, reviews theoretical discussions and empirical studies in-between feminism and STS, mainly owing its thinking technologies to Karen Barad's Agential Realism. The first part of this paper shows that women's technoscientific practices as research sites are not only fertile grounds between STS and feminism but also conflict areas between constructivist theories and feminist politics. The second part proposes Agential Realism as an way of thinking to deal with 'conflicts' between STS and feminism in analytical levels. Agential Realism provides useful conceptual tools for 'techno-scientific ways of thinking' through the reconceptualization of agency, the displacement of agency by accountability, and the configuration of STS analysis as 'apparatus.' The third part finds three examples of 'techno-scientific ways of thinking' on women's technscientific practices from previous feminist STS works, which suggests how to analyze not only women's technoscientific practices but also diverse practices of science, technology, and medicine as follows: follow 'the invisible', account for 'ontological choreography', and 'care' for what is analyzed.

This study is an empirical analysis on the relationship between social presence and online community users' continuance intention. Based on Bhattacherjee(2001)'s expectation-confirmation model (ECM) of IT continuance model, we test the influence of social presence on one's intention to continue using online communities. This study sampled 132 online community users. Research hypotheses are tested using the structural equation modelling(SEM) approach. The results of this study demonstrate that user satisfaction is influenced by perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment. But, the confirmation of expectation did not affect user satisfaction. And, social presence has direct effects on perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment. Further, social presence has a positive effect on users' continuance intention through mediating effect of perceived usefulness. This study suggests that perceived usefulness should be taken into account when carrying out the operating strategy of online communities.

Recent educational policy by coalition government in UK is called knowledge turn. A core competency-based curriculum based on the relative knowledge of the social constructivism and postmodernism has been strongly endorsed by the previous new labor government. The view of knowledge regards knowledge as constructed socially, and emphasizes personal everyday knowledge. But the knowledge-based curriculum based on absolutism is strongly endorsed by the current coalition government. It emphasizes objectivity of knowledge. Social realism criticizes both absolutism and relativism on knowledge. Social realism places disciplinary knowledge above everyday knowledge, and considers disciplinary knowledge as powerful knowledge. But it doesn't mean that social realism neglects everyday knowledge. Rather, social realism empathizes relating disciplinary knowledge to everyday knowledge. Recent Living Geography and YPG(Young People's Geographies) project by the Geographical Association is based on the social realism. The aims of the project is to connect academic geography related to young people's geographies with student's everyday geographies, and academic geographers as mentors, tutors and students together are to make school geography curriculum through conversation.

This study investigated how general blended learning strategies and flipped-learning instructional strategy affect college students' social presence and group cohesion. The main results of this study were summarized as follows. First, the group of flipped-learning instructional strategy was more effective in college students' social presence than general blended learning. Second, it was found that groups using flipped-learning instruction strategy had more positive effects on improving group cohesion among college students than those using the general blended learning instructional strategy. The results of this study can influence the identification and verification of the main components to be considered when using flipped-learning instruction strategy in blended learning environment. This research tried to project hidden and overall side of market economy system of capitalism through desire and fetishism of consumer society. The objective of this research lies in examining desire code of capitalism society through hidden side of consumer society and the reason why modern people are crazy about products, the meaning of product re-creation in tempting modern consumer society, life where all desire is satisfied by products. As a result, we intended to demonstrate that post-industrial society is the one triggered by desire and that society desired in post-industrial society is the very cultural, social study realized to enable modern people to survive in modern society through Martin Parr's pictures.
