  • Due to the Corona-19 pandemic, online education has grown worldwide and it is now being predicted that online education will dominate the future of education. This study examines, as characteristics of the human factor, the effect of self-efficacy; as system factors influencing learners' satisfaction with online learning and behavioral intention to use online learning, this study examines perceived social presence and perceived teaching presence. Participating in this study were 236 students who filled out an online survey in return for course credits. Study findings suggest that individuals with high social presence and teaching presence will have higher satisfaction with online learning and higher behavioral intention to use online learning than those with low social presence and teaching presence. The study also found that individuals with high self-efficacy have higher satisfaction with online learning and higher behavioral intention to use online learning than those with low self-efficacy. This study provides theoretical implications as well as practical implications for e-learning educators when it comes to enhancing students' satisfaction with online learning and behavioral intention to use online learning.

  • The Ddaekbo and Chinese envoy story has been known as a folktale criticising the helpless ruling class by the people. It's been explained that the hand gesture communication with the signifier theory. And it's been analysed that the Chinese envoy is in the 'The Other' position with Lacan theory. But it showed that the winning factor of Ddaekbo could be elucidated by the difference of the desire feature of two conflicting subjects in the study. It claims that the Ddaekbo's wanting is the impulse not the desire and he's won the test by the repetitive and persistence impulse. And it's proper that the position of the Chinese envoy is 'the return of The Real' not the 'The Other'. It's easy to understand the operating mechanism of the traditional folktale contents once the envoy's position is the return of The Real responding to the repetitive impulse of the inferior subject.

  • Recently, as students' programming classes are being conducted online, interest in factors that can lead to the success of online programming classes is also increasing. Therefore, in this study, online programming classes were conducted for specialized high school students using a web-based simulation programming tool through TinkerCad. In these online programming classes, students' self-regulation ability and learning flow were set as variables that influence both learning engagement and teaching presence, and the predictive power of each was analyzed. As a result, it was found that both self-regulation ability and learning flow were predictive variables for learning engagement and teaching presence, and that learning flow played a mediating role between self-regulation ability, learning engagement, and teaching presence. This study is meaningful in that it suggested that self-regulation ability and learning flow should be considered more meaningfully in online programming classes, and a practical strategy for this is presented.

  • Modern scientists are trying to find the basic unit of order, fractal geometry, in the complex systems of the universe. Fractal is a term often used in mathematics or physics, it is appropriate as a principle to explain why some models of ultimate reality are represented as multifaceted. Fractals are already widely used in the field of computer graphics and as a commercial principle in the world of science. In this paper, using observations from fractal geometry, I present the embodiment of ultimate reality as understood in Daesoon Thought. There are various models of ultimate reality such as Dao (道, the way), Sangje (上帝, supreme god), Sinmyeong (神明, Gods), Mugeuk (無極, limitlessness), Taegeuk (太極, the Great Ultimate), and Cheonji (天地, heaven and earth) all of which exist in Daesoon Thought, and these concepts are mutually interrelated. In other words, by revealing the fact that ultimate reality is embodied within fractal geometry, it can be shown that concordance and transformation of various models of ultimate reality are supported by modern science. But when the major religions of the world were divided along lines of personality (personal gods) and non-personality (impersonal deities), most religions came to assume that ultimate reality was either transcendental or personal, and they could not postulate a relationship between God and humanity as Yin Yang (陰陽) fractals (Holon). In addition, religions, which assume ultimate reality as an intrinsic and impersonal being, are somewhat different in terms of their degree of Holon realization - all parts and whole restitution. Daesoon Thought most directly states that gods (deities) and human beings are in a relationship of Yin Yang fractals. In essence, "deities are Yin, and humanity is Yang" and furthermore, "human beings are divine beings." Additionally, in the Daesoon Thought, these models of ultimate reality are presented through various concepts from various viewpoints, and they are revealed as mutually interrelated concepts. As such, point of view regarding the universe wherein Holarchy becomes a models in a key idea within perennial philosophy. According to a universalized view of religious phenomena, perennial philosophy was adopted by the world's great spiritual teachers, thinkers, philosophers, and scientists. From this viewpoint, when ultimate reality coincides, human beings and God are no longer different. In other words, the veracity of the theory of ultimate reality that has appeared in Daesoon Thought can find support in both modern science and perennial philosophy.

  • This paper examines the problems of the concept of 'analogon' which occupies an important place in Jean-Paul Sartre's theory of imagination and his 'aesthetic of the unreal', focusing on Michel Dufrenne's objection to the concept. In the Imaginary (1940), Sartre offers a phenomenological account of the imaginative experience and his theory of imagination provides the basis for his account of experience of art. Sartre distinguishes the imagining consciousness from the realizing consciousness of perception. The work of art, for Sartre, is transformed into an irreal thing ("The work of art is irreality."), i.e. it appears only as aesthetic object, and only under the condition that the spectator's consciousness changes into an imagining consciousness. Some claim that Sartre underemphasizes the function of materiality in artworks. Mikel Dufrenne, in his The Phenomenology of Aesthetic Experience (1953), criticizes Sartre's thesis of irreality. Dufrenne argues that the aesthetic object is the work of art accomplished by aesthetic perception, the meaning of the aesthetic object is given as a whole in the sensuous and does not refer to something that lies outside the object as with imagination or irreality. An affective a priori is the condition of possibility for the occurrence of aesthetic experience.

  • Identity is established by the interaction of consciousness and unconsciousness. The desire of the identity continuously gets generated and changes through this process. However, the conscious identity does not identify the clear substance of the desire. The reason is that the pure desire of unconsciousness has nothing to do with the order of 'The Symbolic', which is the area of language and law, and it only pursues the pure desire. The desire of unconsciousness, which had been examined by the consciousness and superego and subsequently got rejected in 'The Symbolic', can produce endless desire on the stage of fantasy called film, exposing the gap of The Real. This research analyzes the psychoanalytic communication between film and audience by way of the films, in which the desire is conceived by the cause of the desire 'object A', the identities pursuing the desire and the dialectic reproducing process of another desire are symbolically exposed and realized.

  • As a film maker, Lee Chang Dong stands out from most Korean film makers who work within the trappings of genre films. To be sure, Lee has also used the trappings of genre films, such as noire and melodrama, but primarily as a tool to communicate with film audience. In his most recent film "Poetry", Lee seems to have even stripped even the minimal trappings of genre film. Lee commands the audience to self-reflect and work towards their own conclusions by denying them the illusory identification on screen. In this way, Lee's works are counter cinema. Lee achieves a distancing effect using such filmic apparatuses as hand-held camera, fantasy, mise en abyme, and returned gaze. Through these filmic apparatuses, Lee exposes the re-presentation of text and compels his audience to see the historical and political contexts of the text. In this study, I make the case that Lee Chang Dong's film making is an act of repetition compulsion that cultivates ethical reflection, through symbolization of the invisible realities.

  • Programmers use multiple languages to reuse legacy code best suited to their problems. However, it is quite challenging to develop error-free multilingual programs because new types of bugs occur since misunderstanding about language interfaces such as Java Native Interface (JNI) and Python/C. There is a considerable amount of research to overcome multilingual program bugs and errors but these researches have less consideration about substantiality of programming languages, language interfaces, and bugs to evaluate their analyses and tools. In this paper, we have identified and establish substantiality of multilingual programming research with empirical study about diversity and interoperability of programming languages in Ubuntu software ecosystem based on real-world statistical data.

  • Lacan gives an explanation on our real actual world by the concepts the "Real", the "Imaginary" and the "Symbolic". Although this three registers are not far from each other, they never can be unified. Among animals, only human has interest in the "truth". The concept of truth is discussed and debated in several contexts, including philosophy and religion. Many human activities depend upon the concept, which is assumed rather than a subject of discussion, including science, law, and everyday life. Language and words are a means by which humans convey information to one another, and the method used to determine what is a "truth" is termed a criterion of truth. Accepting then that "language is the basic social institution in the sense that all others presuppose language", Lacan found in Ferdinand de Saussure's linguistic division of the verbal sign between signifier and signified a new key to the Freudian understanding that "his therapeutic method was 'a talking cure'". The purpose of this paper is to understand Lacan's psychology and psychoanalysis by using the mathematical concepts and mathematical models, especially geometrical and topological models. And re-explanation of the symbolic model and symbols can help students understand new ideas and concepts in the educational scene.
