A Study on the Combustion Test of Artificial Turf Installed on Field (실외에 설치되는 인조잔디의 연소시험에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, we would evaluate fire risk by domestic standard for artificial turf installed on field and roofs. Today domestic regulation for artificial turf only applies to outdoor uses and especially KS M 3888-1 has compulsion but limited to school athletic facilities. Indoor regulation complying with National Emergency Management Agency (No. 2012-35) was enacted as recommendations. Thus this study did combustion test of artificial turf installed on field. Analyzed result by 45 degree flammability test, standard was inadequate to judge the fire risk so we compared and analysed its characteristic through combustion test of flame retardant finishing carpet used as flooring. Test and assessment result of its ignitionability by 45 degree flammability test showed that carpet was satisfied with flame retardant finishing performance standard contrary to artificial turf. For this reason, by conducting cone calorimeter test, the combustion property after ignition would be analyzed and evaluated and then this study will suggest a countermeasure for strengthening standard.

  • 급격한 산업화와 도시화로 인한 도시유역의 불투수면의 증가와 이에 따른 배수능력의 저하로 인해 도시 물순환의 왜곡이 발생하였다. 따라서 과거 도시 물관리 기법의 한계가 나타났으며 이를 위해 저영향개발 기법 등과 같은 도시 물관리 기법의 패러다임이 변화하였다. 본 연구에서는 저영향개발 기법에서 도시유역 내 활용이 유용한 침투형 시설 중 투수블럭에 대한 물순환 성능평가를 실외실험을 통해 분석하였다. 성능평가 실험은 부산대학교 양산캠퍼스 한국 GI&LID 센터 내 투수블록 뿐만 아니라 블록 하부 골재층까지 설치가 가능하도록 되어있어 실제 현장과 유사한 환경을 구축이 가능한 2.4×10.9×0.4 (m) 규모의 주차장형 LID 실증시험시설을 활용하였다. 인공강우 분사를 위한 실외 인공강우모사 장치 크기는 2×2(m)으로 본 시험을 위하여 5개의 인공강우모사 장치를 연결하여 활용하였으며, 본 시험장치는 강우를 공급하기 위한 수조와 펌프, 일정한 유량을 유입하기 위한 유량계, 강우를 분사하기 위한 노즐, 인공강우가 실제 강우와 같이 자유낙하 하도록 구현하기 위한 오실레이터 등으로 구성되었다. 시험대상인 틈새투수블록은 석재블록 규격 400×600×100 mm이며 재질은 받침안정층(흙), 투수블록(화강석)으로 구성되어 있다. 실험의 시나리오는 시험체에 강우강도 30mm/hr, 50mm/hr, 100mm/hr에 해당하는 양을 1시간 동안 유입하여 시험 시작 후, 강우지속시간, 표면유출지속시간, 표면유출량을 1분 단위로 측정. 시험체에 유공관이 설치된 경우에는 침투유출지속시간, 침투유출량도 함께 1분 단위로 측정하였으며 각 강우강도별로 측정하고, 1회 측정 후, 각 시험별 시험 대상체의 조건을 같게 하기 위한(하부 지반의 건조) 약 3일 이후(상황에 따라 변동 가능) 시험하였다. 본 실험의 결과, 강우강도가 30 mm/hr와 50 mm/hr인 경우에는 화강석 틈새투수블록포장에서 지표 유출이 발생하지 않았으며, 강우강도 100 mm/hr의 경우 260 L의 지표 유출이 발생하여, 불투수표면 대비 84%의 지표유출 저감률을 보여줌으로서 투수블럭에 물순환 성능에 대한 효과를 분석하였다.

A Research on Autonomous Mobile LiDAR Performance between Lab and Field Environment (자율주행차량 모바일 LiDAR의 실내외 성능 비교 연구)

  • LiDAR plays a key role in autonomous vehicles, where it is used to detect the environment in place of the driver's eyes, and its role is expanding. In recent years, there has been a growing need to test the performance of LiDARs installed in autonomous vehicles. Many LiDAR performance tests have been conducted in simulated and indoor(lab) environments, but the number of tests in outdoor(field) and real-world road environments has been minimal. In this study, we compared LiDAR performance under the same conditions lab and field to determine the relationship between lab and field tests and to establish the characteristics and roles of each test environment. The experimental results showed that LiDAR detection performance varies depending on the lighting environment (direct sunlight, led) and the detected object. In particular, the effect of decreasing intensity due to increasing distance and rainfall is greater outdoors, suggesting that both lab and field experiments are necessary when testing LiDAR detection performance on objects. The results of this study are expected to be useful for organizations conducting research on the use of LiDAR sensors and facilities for LiDAR sensors.

The study on the selection of performance test conditions for indoor and outdoor experiments of snowfall in winter (겨울철 강설 실내외 실험을 위한 성능 시험 조건 선정에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this research is to select representative observation stations for winter observation equipment performance tests and to present indoor and outdoor conditions for performance tests by considering snowfall, snowfall days, latitude, and altitude distribution for observation stations operated by the Korea Meteorological Administration. Using the snowfall data observed during the winter for 30 years (1981-2010), ten representative observation stations are selected to consider the classification of snowfall days by class, latitude, and altitude distribution of observation stations. As a result of analysis, the suitable point for outdoor experiments was selected as Daegwallyeong, the average number of snowfall days and snowfall days of 5cm or more were 57.5 and 13.2 days, respectively. The indoor experimental conditions are considered to be suitable under temperatures of -15 to 5℃ and humidity of 50% or higher. Results of this research can be used as basic information for conditions and test beds for performance tests of equipment that can respond to heavy snow disasters in winter.

  • This paper introduces the testbed configuration for telematics wireless communications using terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting (T-DMB) network. The testbed for telematics wireless communications is consisted of indoor laboratory testbed and outdoor field testbed. As a result of research, are derived testbed configurations for individual function verification at the indoor laboratory and performance test at the outdoor test road. In addition, a return channel configuration is described for interactive protocol as necessary for telematics services using T-DMB.

Experimental Study on the Fire Performance of PC Slab by the Bearing Length (걸침길이에 따른 PC 슬래브의 화재성능에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • In this study, a fire test was conducted to evaluate the fire performance of precast concrete (PC) slabs in an outdoor environment in response to the increase in fire incidents caused by the growth of warehouses. Prior to the field fire test, the tensile yield strength of the tendon at elevated temperatures was tested to analyze the mechanical properties. Also, by referring to previous studies, the thermal properties of tendon and the mechanical and thermal properties of concrete were investigated. A field fire test was conducted to analyze the structural and fire performance of two identical slabs with 50 and 150 mm bearing length. As the bearing length increased, deflection and horizontal displacement decreased. The fire test lasted for 200 minutes without the collapse of slabs, validating current codes. Based on the structural performance which maintained even with concrete spalling and rupture of some tendons, the bonded method is assumed to be practical in pre-tensioned PC slabs. The results of fire test are expected to be utilized in evaluating the fire performance of PC slabs in warehouses.

Drop Impact Analysis of Outside Cooling Unit Package of System Air-Conditioner and Experimental Verification (시스템 에어컨 실외기 포장품의 낙하충격해석 및 시험적 검증)

  • This research examines the drop impact of an external cooling unit package of an air conditioner system. The packaging is composed of a shock-absorbing material, which protects the package contents by absorbing the impact energy and other parts for fixture. Accurate quantification of the impact acceleration experienced by the package contents is necessary to design an effective packaging with minimal volume and sufficient shock absorbing capacity. Explicit time integration was used for the drop impact analyses. A finite element model of the package was constructed, material testing and material model selection were carried out, and sensors for data acquisition were modeled to obtain accurate simulation results. The results were compared with real physical test data. Due to imprecise modeling of the damping, the acceleration and strain values predicted by the simulation were larger than those from physical test. However, the trend of the history data and the peak deceleration value in the direction of impact showed good agreements. Thus, the analysis model and scheme are suitable for the design of an air conditioner cooling unit package.

  • 본 논문은 그루빙(grooving), 타이닝(tining), 텍스쳐(texture) 등의 포장도로의 표면 상태를 차량에 장착된 고성능의 레이저 변위센서를 사용하여 주행 중에 정밀하게 측정하는 도로 표면 측정 장비 개발에 관한 논문이다. 본 논문에서는 전체 시스템을 설계 및 시험제작 하였으며, 차량 주행을 모사한 실험 모형을 이용한 실내 실험 및 시험도로에서의 실제 도로 표면 측정 실험을 실시하였다. 실내 포장도면 모사장비를 이용한 실험 결과 타이닝 폭 오차 2%, 깊이 오차 4%(60km/h)를 얻었으며, 실외에서 차량에 레이저센서를 장착 후 측정한 실험에서는 폭 오차 3.24%, 깊이 오차 5% (50km/h)가 측정되었다. 이러한 실험 결과를 토대로 시험도로 상의 실제 도로 표면 측정 실험에서는 25mm, 18mm, 26mm, 그리고 임의의 간격의 횡 방향 및 종 방향 타이닝을 측정하였고 이를 확인하였다.

A Study on Inundation Detection Using Convolutional Neural Network Based on Deep Learning (딥러닝 기반 합성곱 신경망을 이용한 자동 침수감지 기술에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 국지적으로 발생하는 침수상황을 빠르게 감지하고 대처하기 위하여 다채널 실시간 CCTV 영상을 무인 모니터링하고 자동으로 감지하기 위한 영상분석 기술을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이에 다양한 공간에서 촬영된 학습 및 검증을 위한 데이터를 구축하였고, 대표적인 CNN 계열 분류모델을 중심으로 딥러닝 모델을 개발하였다. 5가지 CNN 알고리즘으로 시험결과, ResNet-50 모델의 분류 정확도가 87.5%로 가장 우수한 성능을 보였다. 공간적으로는 실외, 도로공간에서 82% 이상의 분류성능을 보였고, 실내공간에서는 양질의 학습데이터 부족으로 분류성능이 떨어지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구성과는 지능형 CCTV 기술 발전과 방재 목적의 다목적 활용으로, 향후 홍수피해 저감을 위한 보조적인 수단으로 활용되길 기대한다.

Vision-based Small UAV Indoor Flight Test Environment Using Multi-Camera (멀티카메라를 이용한 영상정보 기반의 소형무인기 실내비행시험환경 연구)

  • This paper presents the pose estimation of a small UAV utilizing visual information from low cost cameras installed indoor. To overcome the limitation of the outside flight experiment, the indoor flight test environment based on multi-camera systems is proposed. Computer vision algorithms for the proposed system include camera calibration, color marker detection, and pose estimation. The well-known extended Kalman filter is used to obtain an accurate position and pose estimation for the small UAV. This paper finishes with several experiment results illustrating the performance and properties of the proposed vision-based indoor flight test environment.
