IP Traceback System using iTrace Message (iTrace 메시지를 이용한 IP 역추적 시스템)

  • The rapid growth of the Internet has caused the hacking and virus. There are several vulnerabilities in current firewall and Intrusion Detection Systems of the Network Computing resources. Automatic real time station chase techniques can track the internet invader and reduce the probability of hacking Due to the recent trends the station chase technique has become inevitable. In this paper, we design and implement Active Security system using ICMP Traceback message. In this design no need to modify the router structure and we can deploy this technique in larger network. Our Implementation shows that ICMP Traceback system is safe to deploy and protect data in Internet from hackers and others.

  • Today, the world is evolving into a huge community that can communicate with real-time information sharing and communication based on the rapid advancement of scientific technology and information. Behind this information, the adverse effects of information assets, such as hacking, viruses, information assets, and unauthorized disclosure of information assets, are continually increasing as a serious social problem. Each time an infringement of the invasion and personal information leaks occur, many regulatory policies have been announced, including stricter regulations for protecting the privacy of the government and establishing comprehensive countermeasures. Also, companies are making various efforts to increase awareness of the importance of information security. Nevertheless, information security accidents like the leaks of industrial secrets are continuously occurring and the frequency is not lessening. In this thesis, I proposed a customized security policy methodology that supports users with various business circumstances and service and also enables them to respond to the security threats more confidently and effectively through not a monotonous and technical but user-centered security policy.

  • We investigate the current situation and development trend of domestic smart city and emergency vehicle priority signal control system analyzing the existing effectiveness of 1) emergency vehicle priority signal control system and 2) control emergency vehicle priority signal, based on domestic and foreign prior research for signal control system security. The effectiveness of time reduction was analyzed through actual application and test operation to emergency vehicles after establishing the system. In addition, for security management and stable service of real-time signal system control we propose improvement for the technical control items of the ISMS-P certification system to secure golden time to protect citizens' precious lives and property in case of emergency by classifying and mapping the existing ISMS-P certification system and the Korea Internet & Security Agency's cyber security guide according to the items of security threats.

A Study on Efficient BACnet/SC to ensure Data Reliability in Wireless Environments (무선 환경에서 데이터의 신뢰성을 보장하는 효율적인 BACnet/SC 개선 방안 연구)

  • Recently, smart buildings that can efficiently manage energy using ICT technology and operate and control through the building automation system by collecting data from a large number of IoT sensors in real time are attracting attention. However, as data management is carried out through an open environment, the safety of smart buildings is threatened by the security vulnerability of the existing building automation protocol. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the major data link technology of BACnet, which is used universally, and propose OWE-based efficient BACnet/SC that can ensure the reliability of data in a wireless environment. The proposed protocol enables safe communication even in an open network by applying OWE and provides the same level of security as BACnet/SC in a TLS environment. As a result, it reduces the connection process twice and reduces the average time required by 40%, enabling more efficient communication than before.

Development of Multi-person remote collaboration system using WebRTC for fields adaptation (WebRTC를 이용한 현장 적응형 다자간 원격협업 시스템 개발)

  • In the case of the existing remote collaboration, the remote support service-oriented system is not suitable for the use of the field-oriented multi-person remote collaboration system. This paper is a remote collaboration system development for various industrial sites. We develop remote support and work management that faces the various needs of industrial sites, real-time video remote support between workers, and real-time voice work sharing between workers. In addition, The goal of the development aims to increase the usability by strengthening the security function through encryption in the video and to develop a more efficient system. Finally, the development contents are the remote management and the support software development, Android app development for worker, WebRTC-based remote collaboration system construction and development, and prototype development. These products are expected to increase demand and increase sales by installing and operating at industrial sites, and can promote manpower training, understanding trending technologies, and improving capabilities.

  • Various server-based services such as big data, IoT and artificial intelligence have been made online. As a result, the demand for IDC to support stable server operation is increasing. IDC is a server-based facility with a stable line and power supply facility that manages 20 to 30 servers in an efficiently separated rack-level subnetwork. Here, we need a way to efficiently manage servers security, firewall, and traffic on a rack-by-rack basis. Including traffic shaping capabilities that control routers, firewalls, IPS, and line speeds, as well as VPN technology, a recent interest. If three or five kinds of commercial equipment are adopted to support this, it may be a great burden to the management cost as well as the introduction cost. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a method to implement the five functions in one rack-unit small integrated security router. In particular, IDC intends to integrate traffic shaping and IPS, which are essential technologies, and to propose the utility accordingly.

  • Real-Time Enterprise (RTE)'s key requirement is that it should respond and adapt fast to the change of the firms' internal and external situations including the change of market and customers' needs. Recently, the big data processing technology to support the speedy change of the firms is spotlighted. Under the circumstances that wire and wireless communication networks are evolving with an accelerated rate, it is especially critical to provide a strong security monitoring function and stable services through a real-time processing of massive communication data traffic. By applying the big data processing technology based on a cloud computing architecture, this paper solves the managerial problems of telecommunication service providers and discusses how to operate the network management system effectively.

Mobile Point-of-Sales System (모바일 판매 시점 관리 시스템)

  • We propose a mobile point-of-sale system, which consists of only mobile information terminals and personal computers. The proposed system provides most of functionalities related with resource planning, adminstration and management, provided by medium-scale or large-scale POS systems, with additional functionalities, such as automatic information gathering and management through mobile interconnection, while eliminating the necessity of additional special-purpose devices, such as bar-code systems. The proposed system transmits order information through wireless and wired communication lines, thus allowing real-time sharing of order information among diverse information devices, such as mobile order receiving terminals, main server within stores, monitors and printers located in production lines. Also, the system is able to transfer such detail information produced within stores in real-time to the enterprise-level accounting, sales, logistics, personnel management system, which facilitate enterprise-wide management and administrative decision-making. No additional programs are required for mobile terminals. Order information received by such terminals are entered into databases through web server of main server and that information is again transferred to main server and production line printers. The proposed system can handle all the point-of-sale information and can provide almost of the POS functionalities by simply utilizing wireless internet, personal computers, and mobile terminals without installing specific-purpose peripheral devices. The proposed system can be widely applied to the small-scale stores and will contribute in reducing construction and maintenance cost required for point-of-sale management.

  • After the corona virus, as non-face-to-face services are activated, domain services that guarantee integrity by embedding sensing information of the Internet of Things (IoT) with block chain technology are expanding. For example, in areas such as safety and security using CCTV, a process is required to safely update firmware in real time and to confirm that there is no malicious intrusion. In the existing safe security processing procedures, in many cases, the person in charge performing official duties carried a USB device and directly updated the firmware. However, when private blockchain technology such as Hyperledger is used, the convenience and work efficiency of the Internet of Things environment can be expected to increase. This article describes scenarios in how to prevent vulnerabilities in the operating environment of various customers such as firmware updates and device changes in a non-face-to-face environment. In particular, we introduced the optimal blockchain technique for the Internet of Things (IoT), which is easily exposed to malicious security risks such as hacking and information leakage. In this article, we tried to present the necessity and implications of security management that guarantees integrity through operation applying block chain technology in the increasingly expanding Internet of Things environment. If this is used, it is expected to gain insight into how to apply the blockchain technique to guidelines for strengthening the security of the IoT environment in the future.

  • 최근 치안 관련 강력 범죄 발생이 사회 이슈화가 많이 된다. 이에 대한 해결책으로 CCTV가 기하급수적으로 보급, 설치되고 있다. 하지만 현재의 CCTV 기술은 단순 녹화의 수준에서 머물고 있기에 범죄 발생 사후에나 사용되고 있는 실정이다. 영상보안 분야에서 현재 진행되고 있는 지능형 영상 분석 기술은 영상 감시, 분석을 인력으로 사용하는 방식에서 벗어서 실시간으로 시스템에서 상황판단을 하여 경보하여 줌으로써 범죄의 예방 및 조속한 해결을 가능하도록 발전하고 있다. 본 논문은 지능형 영상 분석 시스템을 구성하는데 있어서 영상 분석 기술의 인터페이스를 공통화를 적용, 모듈화 함으로써 각각의 감시사이트에 적용 가능한 최적의 비전 기술 모듈만을 시스템 관리자에 선택에 따라 해당 시스템에 적용할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 각 비전 모듈을 개별 프로세스로 동작하게 하고 모듈간의 통신을 네트워크화 함으로써 분산 환경으로 동작할 수 있도록 개발하였다.
