  • 대화방 시스템은 텍스트화 화상을 이용한 대화방 또는 메시지 전달시스템이 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 논문은 3차원 아바타가 등장하는 대화방 시스템을 생성 및 관리하는 기술을 제안한다. 본 아바타 대화방의 특징은 사진을 가지고 간단히 3차원 개인 아바타로 변환 생성하는 기술, 3차원 개인 아바타의 한글 발음에 적합한 입술 움직임, 메시지에 따른 적절한 표정변화 등이다. 특히, 3차원 개인 아바타는 사진만으로 생성이 가능하며, 텍스쳐 매핑된 3차원 아바타는 실시간으로 사실감있는 대화방 서비스가 가능하도록 제어된다.

  • 이 논문에서는 손상에서 복원 되었거나 기타 이유로 DVR 시스템의 관리에서 벗어난 파편화된 다채널 영상 파일들에 대한 다채널 영상 재생 기법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 영상에 매핑 된 메타데이터에 기반 하여 촬영 시간에 대응되는 올바른 시간적 위상에서 재생될 영상 파일을 실시간으로 불러오고, 재생이나 탐색 중에 시간을 동기화시키는 과정을 수행 한다. 그리고 오픈소스 영상 재생 API인 VLC Player를 활용하여 시스템을 설계 하였고, 구현한 시스템은 상용 DVR 시스템을 사용하지 않고도 다채널 영상 파일을 직관적으로 판독할 수 있는 환경을 제공한다.

  • This paper proposes a collision prevention system for an agricultural unmanned helicopter. The collision prevention system consists of an obstacle detection system, a mapping algorithm, and a collision avoidance algorithm. The obstacle detection system based on a LiDAR sensor is implemented in the unmanned helicopter and acquires distance information of obstacles in real-time. Then, an obstacle mapping is carried out by combining the distance to the obstacles with attitude/location data of the unmanned helicopter. In order to prevent a collision, alert is activated to an operator based on the map when the vehicle approaches to the obstacles. Moreover, the developed collision prevention system is verified through flight test simulating a flight pattern aerial spraying.

  • Rapid developments in sensor technologies now allow the generation of multi-source topographical data. For many applications, however, the geospatial information provided by individual sensors is not complete, precise, and consistent. To solve these inherent problems, additional diverse sources of complementary data can be used and fused. In this paper, the experiment was done for generation of 3D orthoimage data using LIDAR data and digital camera image. And the results show that 3D orthoimage can be used for the flood monitoring.

  • We propose a system that allows three dimensional manipulation of face in video. The 3D face manipulation of the proposed system overlays the 3D face model with the user 's manipulation on the face region of the video frame, and it allows 3D manipulation of the video in real time unlike existing applications or methods. To achieve this feature, first, the 3D morphable face model is registered with the image. At the same time, user's manipulation is applied to the registered model. Finally, the frame image mapped to the model as texture, and the texture-mapped and deformed model is rendered. Since this process requires lots of operations, parallel processing is adopted for real-time processing; the system is divided into modules according to functionalities, and each module runs in parallel on each thread. Experimental results show that specific parts of the face in video can be manipulated in real time.

  • In this paper, we introduce a new design environment for efficient multiprocessor system-on-chip design space exploration. The design environment takes a process network model as input system specification. The process network model has been widely used for modeling signal processing applications because of its excellent modeling power. However, it has limitation in predictability, which could cause severe problem for real time systems. This paper proposes a new approach that enables static analysis of a process network model by converting it to a hierarchical synchronous dataflow model. For efficient design space exploration in the early design step, mapping application to target architectures has been a crucial part for finding better solution. In this paper, we propose an efficient mapping algorithm. Our mapping algorithm supports both single bus architecture and multiple bus architecture. In the experiments, we show that the automatic conversion approach of the process network model for static analysis is performed successfully for several signal processing applications, and show the effectiveness of our mapping algorithm by comparing it with previous approaches.

  • In this paper, we propose a QoS-aware efficient bandwidth re-provisioning scheme in a next generation wireless packet transport network. At the transport network layer, it classifies the traffic of the radio network layer into a real time class and a non-real time class. Using an auto-regressive time-series model and a given packet loss probability, our scheme predicts the needed bandwidth of the non-real time class at every re-provisioning interval. Our scheme increases the system capacity by releasing the unutilized bandwidth of the non-real time traffic class for the real-time traffic class while insuring a controllable upper bound on the packet loss probability of a non-real time traffic class. Through empirical evaluations using the real Internet traffic traces, our scheme is validated that it can increase the bandwidth efficiency while guaranteeing the quality of service requirements of the non-real time traffic class.

  • 후방 램프를 이용하는 기존의 차량 검출 기법들은 주로 색상 정보를 활용한다. 그러나 조도가 낮은 야간 환경의 특성상 색상 정보를 온전히 활용할 수 없는 경우가 빈번하게 발생한다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 야간 환경에서 후방 램프의 밝기 값만을 이용해 차량을 검출한다. 일반적으로 후방 램프를 검출하기 위해 색상 정보와 밝기 값을 이용해 이진화를 하게 되는데, 본 논문에서는 밝기 값을 이용해 톤 매핑 과정을 수행하여 후방 램프의 모양을 보존한다. 밝기 값 만을 이용하기 때문에 오검출이 증가하게 되는데 이는 후방 램프에 대한 조건을 알고리즘에 적용함으로써 해결한다. 이에 더해 추적 알고리즘을 적용하여 남아있는 오검출을 제거한다. 이러한 과정은 모두 실시간으로 이루어지기 때문에 최근 활발히 연구되고 있는 자동 주행 시스템이나 주행 보조 시스템 등에 활용 될 수 있다.

Modeling Element Relations as Structured Graphs Via Neural Structured Learning to Improve BIM Element Classification (Neural Structured Learning 기반 그래프 합성을 활용한 BIM 부재 자동분류 모델 성능 향상 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Building information modeling (BIM) element to industry foundation classes (IFC) entity mappings need to be checked to ensure the semantic integrity of BIM models. Existing studies have demonstrated that machine learning algorithms trained on geometric features are able to classify BIM elements, thereby enabling the checking of these mappings. However, reliance on geometry is limited, especially for elements with similar geometric features. This study investigated the employment of relational data between elements, with the assumption that such additions provide higher classification performance. Neural structured learning, a novel approach for combining structured graph data as features to machine learning input, was used to realize the experiment. Results demonstrated that a significant improvement was attained when trained and tested on eight BIM element types with their relational semantics explicitly represented.

  • In a fuzzy control system to vocess fuzzy data in high-speed for intelligent systems, one of the important problems is the improvement of the execution speed in the fuzzy inference and defuzzification stages. Especially, it is more important to have high-speed operations in the consequent Pan and defuzzification stage. Therefore, in this paper, to improve the speedup of the fuzzy controllers for intelligent systems, we propose novel integer fuzzy operation method without mulitplications and divisions by only integer addition to convert real values in the fuzzy membership functions in the consequent part to integer grid pixels $(400{\times}30)$ without [0, 1] real operations. Also we apply the proposed system to the truck backer-upper control system. As a result, this system shows a real-time very high speed fuzzy control as compared as the conventional methods. This system will be applied to the real-time high-speed intelligent systems such as robot arm control.
