The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of spirituality and stress of clinical practice and to identify the relationship of variables among nursing students. Data were collected from 203 nursing students using self-report questionnaire composed of demographic characteristics and two scales including spirituality and stress of clinical practice. Data were analyzed by frequencies, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients using the SPSS program. The mean score for spirituality and stress of clinical practice were above medium level, with the value of 3.18 and 3.42 out of 5 respectively. There were significant mean differences in spirituality according to religion and satisfaction on major while those in stress of clinical practice according to sex and satisfaction on major. Significant negative correlation between spirituality and stress of clinical practice was found. In conclusion, to reduce clinical stress in nursing students, it is necessary to develop and apply educational program for spiritual improvement.

This study is a similar experimental study before and after non-equivalence control to examine the effect of fundamental nursing practice education applying reciprocal peer tutoring on confidence in performance, core nursing skills, and practice satisfaction of nursing students. Data collected by 83 people sophomore P university nursing students, the study period is from May 17 to 11 March 2019. As a results, the fundamental nursing practice education applied with the reciprocal peer tutoring method had an effect on the confidence in performance and core nursing skills of 'medium' degree of difficulty, and had a positive effect on the satisfaction of practice. In the future, this study suggests that the method of reciprocal peer teaching is extended to various practical majors and the effects of core nursing skills are tested.

대한민국은 정부의 지원 아래 해기사 양성을 위한 교육훈련이 체계적으로 이루어지고 있다. 특히 다른 나라와는 달리 실습을 목적으로 설계-건조된 고가의 신조 실습선을 제공함으로써 실습생의 안전 확보와 효율적인 실습이 가능하도록 지원하고 있다. 이러한 제도에 의하여 최근 몇 척의 실습선이 퇴역하였으나, 이러한 퇴역 실습선에 대한 활용 방안은 정립되어 있지 않다. 이에 퇴역 실습선의 현황과 문제점을 고찰하고 이를 토대로 효율적인 활용을 위한 방안을 제시한다.

This study included eleven elementary pre-service teachers who participated in the first and second teaching practices held by J Education College in 2015. After the pre-service teachers were encouraged to self-reflect on their mathematics teaching using a reflective survey sheet of mathematics teaching expertise, their uses of mathematics teaching expertise were analyzed according to the times of their mathematics practice instructions. The results are as follows: First, as the frequency of their mathematics teaching increased, the pre-service teachers' uses of mathematics teaching expertise increased, especially greatly with seven of them. However, the number of subcategories where the teachers' uses of mathematics teaching expertise increased was different from at least two to seven depending on the teachers. Second, the pre-service teachers who performed mathematics teaching practices four times used more of mathematics teaching expertise than those who did two times or three times. Third, some pre-service teachers who taught two or three times never reached 90% of the total score of any subcategory, even in the subcategory where they showed increase in their uses of mathematics teaching expertise. Fourth, the subcategory of 'reflection before class - teaching perspective - understanding of mathematics subject knowledge' was analyzed as the most difficult one for the study participants, and the reason is, they think, that there are not enough materials on the historical back grounds of mathematical concepts.

국립과천과학관 천체투영관은 연간 약 20만 명의 관람객이 방문하고 있어 일반 대중들에게 천문학을 쉽고 재미있게 접하게 하고 홍보할 수 있는 좋은 시설이다. 과거의 천체투영관에서의 천문학 교육은 별자리나 좌표계 설명이 대부분이었지만 디지털 천체투영장치의 보급과 함께 천문학의 다양한 분야를 소개하는 영상물들이 제작되어 여러 가지 방식의 천문학 교육이 가능하게 되었다. 하지만 국내에는 많은 수의 천체투영관이 있으며 그 수가 점점 증가하고 있음에도 불구하고 그에 걸맞는 수준의 콘텐츠가 개발되고 있지는 못하는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 해외에서는 어떤 방식으로 어떤 종류의 영상물들이 제작되고 있는지와 천문올림피아드 실습교육 등 국립과천과학관 천체투영관에서 이루어지고 있는 천문학 교육 내용들을 소개하고, 천체투영관 운영 경험을 바탕으로 우리나라에서는 천문올림피아드 실습교육을 포함한 다양한 천문학 실습교육에 활용되고 있 어떤 종류의 콘텐츠가 개발되는 것이 필요할 것인지 제시해보고자 한다.

In this paper, to design a basic data science practice curriculum as a liberal arts subject for non-majors, we proposed an educational method using an Excel(spreadsheet) data analysis tool. Tools for data collection, data processing, and data analysis include Excel, R, Python, and Structured Query Language (SQL). When it comes to practicing data science, R, Python and SQL need to understand programming languages and data structures together. On the other hand, the Excel tool is a data analysis tool familiar to the general public, and it does not have the burden of learning a programming language. And if you practice basic data science practice with Excel, you have the advantage of being able to concentrate on acquiring data science content. In this paper, a basic data science practice curriculum for one semester and weekly Excel practice contents were proposed. And, to demonstrate the substance of the educational content, examples of Linear Regression Analysis were presented using Excel data analysis tools.

This paper describes the development of on-line computer vision laboratories to teach the detailed image processing and pattern recognition techniques. The computer vision laboratories include distant image acquisition method, basic image processing and pattern recognition methods lens and light, and communication. This study introduces a case study that teaches computer vision in distance learning. environment. It shows a schematic of a distant teaming workstation and contents of laboratories with image processing examples. The study focus more on the contents of the vision Labs rather than internet application method. The study proposes the ways to improve the on-line computer vision laboratories and includes the further research perspectives.

This study examines the university students majoring in culinary arts to survey the recognition levels of culinary arts education for the purpose of searching for a development plan for culinary education. A survey was conducted to 407 students in a cooking and food service program. To achieve the purpose of this study, SPSS 17.0, a statistics program, was used for a descriptive analysis, a frequency analysis, and a factor analysis. In this study, we have developed a device to measure educational service quality which can be applied to the place of higher education, and factors that determine educational service quality are dragged through this device. In addition, this research identifies which statistically significant factors play a part in overall satisfaction and interprets 26 quality attributes using importance-satisfaction transformed index. The interest and necessity of culinary arts education was very high while the performance degree was considered insufficient. In conclusion, if chances are given to display achievement of desire self-directly through increasing practical training, development and application of various programs, operation of open practice classes and curriculum organization reflecting social changes in the education courses, the culinary arts education will be considered to be more vitalized.

In this study, pre-service science teachers' difficulties in teaching practice were investigated from the perspectives of pre-service teachers and cooperating teachers. Nine pre-service teachers who were attending a department of chemistry education at a college of education in Seoul and participated in teaching practice, and two of their cooperating teachers participated in the study. Teaching practice were observed, documentary data were collected, and interviews were conducted. The collected data were analyzed using analysis method of grounded theory. As results of the analysis, the pre-service teachers had difficulties in preparing and executing lessons which include experiments, because education related to experiments in middle and high schools was insufficient at the college of education and environments of cooperating school were unfamiliar to them. They had difficulties in encountering various responses from students in student-centered activities and tried to control students. Cooperating teachers did not provide specific assistance to ensure the autonomy of pre-service teachers, so that pre-service teachers suffered. Guiding science club activities was a meaningful experience to pre-service teachers, but it was a burden on both pre-service teachers and cooperating teachers. Educational implications of these findings were discussed.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the educational status, knowledge, awareness, and readiness for dysphagia therapy among university occupational therapy students. Methods : One hundred and five online questionnaires completed by senior-year students at an occupational therapy university were analyzed. The questionnaire assessed the educational status, knowledge, awareness, and readiness for dysphagia therapy. Descriptive statistics and differences between those with and without practical experience were analyzed. The relationships among educational status, knowledge, and readiness were analyzed. Results : Independent opening of the dysphagia therapy class (69.5%) and experience in dysphagia practice were high (79.0%). Dysphagia education and knowledge in university and practice were moderate and item scores were higher for university education. Knowledge of adult dysphagia therapy was higher than that of pediatric dysphagia therapy. Scores on awareness, knowledge, and readiness for dysphagia therapy were significantly higher among students with practical experience. Conclusion : Education and knowledge of dysphagia therapy were moderate. Knowledge and readiness in adults are higher than in children. Systematic dysphagia therapy education in university and associated practices are needed to enhance the specialty of dysphagia therapy.
