Count-Min HyperLogLog : Cardinality Estimation Algorithm for Big Network Data (Count-Min HyperLogLog : 네트워크 빅데이터를 위한 카디널리티 추정 알고리즘)

  • Cardinality estimation is used in wide range of applications and a fundamental problem processing a large range of data. While the internet moves into the era of big data, the function addressing cardinality estimation use only on-chip cache memory. To use memory efficiently, there have been various methods proposed. However, because of the noises between estimator, which is data structure per flow, loss of accuracy occurs in these algorithms. In this paper, we focus on minimizing noises. We propose multiple data structure that each estimator has the number of estimated value as many as the number of structures and choose the minimum value, which is one with minimum noises, We discover that the proposed algorithm achieves better performance than the best existing work using the same tight memory, such as 1 bit per flow, through experiment.

  • Currently, the occurrence of floor noise in Korea is gradually increasing, and for this reason, the problem of secondary conflict is also increasing. Various studies have been conducted to solve these problems, but the definition of floor noise is not clear, and data of floor noise in various situations cannot be obtained. Therefore, this paper defines various scenarios of floor noise for floor noise epicenter recognition system. For this, the experimental scenario is defined in consideration of environment required for the experiment, the type of floor noise generated in real life, the location of the collector, and the noise intensity. It is possible to increase the accuracy of the floor noise epicenter recognition system when performing data collection and learning operations based on the defined experimental scenario.

  • Many cameras are used in real life, and they are often used for monitoring and crime prevention to check the situation of problems beyond just taking pictures for memories. Such surveillance and prevention are generally used only for simple storage, and in systems utilizing multiple cameras, utilizing additional features would require additional hardware specifications. In this paper, we add image input methods and post-object processing processes to process multiple image inputs from one hardware or server that perform object detection systems that deviate from typical image processing. The performance of the method is utilized in both learning and reasoning of the hardware performing deep learning, and allows improved image processing processes to be performed.

Theory of Mind in Old Age: A Review from a Neurocognitive Perspective (노년기의 마음이론: 신경인지적 접근)

  • Theory of mind (ToM) is the ability to infer one's own and other people's mental states such as beliefs, desires, and intentions. Although the majority of research in ToM has focused on young children or autistic individuals, several studies have investigated ToM in normal old age and in the demented elderly. This article provides an overview on existent findings of theory of mind in aging populations and suggests future directions for research including applying neuroimaging techniques and real-life tasks. It is still unclear how ToM in aging is associated with other aspects of cognition. However, it is expected that ToM perspective on aging will increase our understanding of aging of cognition and social functioning.

  • 환경오염으로 인한 문제는 매년 발생하고 있다. 그러나 환경오염의 심각성을 인식하고 있는 비율에 비해 환경보호 실천보다 생활의 편리함이 더 중요하다고 생각하는 비율이 높으며, 올바른 환경보호 지식을 습득하고 있는 수가 적다. 유년기, 청소년기에 초중고교에서의 교육을 통해 올바른 환경 지식을 습득하고 환경을 보전하려는 태도를 갖추는 것이 중요한데, 환경 교과목을 채택한 교육기관의 수는 14.1%로 절반도 채 되지 않는다. 본 논문은 가상공간 내에서 올바른 분리수거 방법을 습득하고, 학습자가 이를 실생활에 적용하기 용이한 게임기반의 체험형 VR 환경교육 콘텐츠를 제시하고자 한다.

K-Anonymity using Hierarchical Structure in Indoor Space (실내공간에서 계층 구조를 이용한 K-익명화)

  • Due to complexity of indoor space, the demand of Location Based Services (LBS) in indoor space is increasing as well as outdoor. However, it includes privacy problems of exposing personal location. Location K-anonymity technology is a method to solve the privacy problems with cloaking their locations by Anonymized Spatial Region(ASR). It guarantees K users within a region containing the location of a given user. However previous researches have dealt the problems based on Euclidean distance in outdoor space, and cannot be applied in indoor space where there are constraints of movement such as walls. For this reason, we propose in this paper a K-anonymity for cloaking indoor location in consideration of structures and representation of indoor space. The basic concept of our approach is to introduce a hierarchical structure as ASR for including K-1 users for cloaking their locations. We also proposed a cost model by K and attributes of hierarchical structure to analyze the performance of the method.

  • In order to ensure that the 2015 revised curriculum is successfully settled at the field of school, there are 68 national SW schools operated by 2015 and 2016 at national level, and an inspection tool was developed to measure the effectiveness of SW education. The purpose of this study is to present the direction of the computing thinking inspection tool which can verify the effectiveness of the curriculum from 2018 through the analysis of the previously developed computing thinking inspection tool. As a result of the analysis, the validity of the ability factors to measure the problem solving process based on computing thinking was not enough. In the analysis of the item characteristics, the degree of discrimination was good, but difficulty was not enough to accurately measure the competence of students because of the high percentage of easy questions. Based on the results, this study suggested the development of the items considering the problem solving process based on the computing thinking, the application of the students' empirical knowledge, and the constitution that can confirm the flow of the thinking power with materials in the real life.

Paradoxes of Living Lab as a Social Innovation Arena (사회혁신의 장으로서 리빙랩과 패러독스)

  • The Living Lab, key elements are user involvement and experimentation in real life environment, is attracting public and academic attention as a crucial means of science and technology innovation and societal innovation. In recent years, there has also been a qualitative change, such as being utilized for social innovation and sustainable system transition. However, in the Living Lab approach, the paradox due to the tension between the different demands can appear in terms of homogeneity, user experience, conflict, commercialization, and diffusion of innovation. We need to understand and solve these paradoxes of Living Labs in order not only to solve social problems but also to be a good means of social innovation and sustainable system transition. Living labs are very useful instruments for solving certain types of problems, but they are not panacea. Living Labs, which still lack theoretical rationale and empirical results, need to accept and manage paradoxes to achieve results as a good means of social innovation.

GIS를 이용한 송전선로 주변의 전자파 분포 시뮬레이션 가능성 평가

  • 고압전류가 흐르는 송전탑이 주거 밀집지역 인근에 설치되거나 송전탑과 가까운 곳에 아파트가 건설되면서 주민들이 한전을 상대로 손해배상 청구소송을 추진하는 등 전자파 피해에 따른 민원이 끊이지 않고 있다. 이와 같은 문제에 대해 해결책을 제시하기 위해서는 송전선 주변 전자파의 실체에 대해 과학적이고 객관적인 조사를 거쳐 국민에게 납득할 수 있는 대안을 제시하는 것이 선행되어야할 작업이다. 그러나 현재 전자파 데이터는 조사 지점만의 단편적인 측정치를 보여주는 수준에 머물러 있어 전자파 확산 등 광역적인 분포 추이에 대한 시각적인 정보를 입수하는 데 상당한 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 GIS기반의 공간 모델링 기법을 활용하여 거리와 전류를 토대로 분포되는 송전선 주변의 전자파 시뮬레이션 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 이와 같은 문제에 대해 대안을 제시하고자, 지역주민이 일상생활에서 접하고 있는 지역의 지도(건물, 도로망 등)를 전자파 유동에 관한 이론에 의거하여 3차원 상에서 전자파 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 전자파 시뮬레이션 결과를 검증하기 위해 사용한 실측 데이터는 인천광역시 서구 가정2동에 위치한 봉수 초등학교의 학생들에게 전자파 측정장비를 부착하도록 하여 확보하였다 송전선에서 전자파 방출에 개입하는 거리와 전류의 세기에 의거하여 전자파의 분포를 예측하였으며 실측 데이터와 이론적인 데이터를 비교하여 상관성을 평가했다. 통상 전자파 조사과정은 지도에 표기된 조사지점을 일일이 확인하는 등 모든 측정 작업을 수작업에 의존하고 있다. 따라서 DB구축에 시간이 많이 소요되고 정확도도 많이 떨어질 수밖에 없어 다양한 조건으로 방대한 자료를 공간상에서 검색하는 것 자체가 불가능하였다. 전자파의 분포를 그래픽정보로 가공하여 광역적인 전자파 변화 추이를 풍부한 시각 정보로 디스플레이 하는 것도 어려웠다. 또한 수작업으로 인한 실수도 많이 발생하고 그에 따른 교정 작업도 복잡하였다. 본 연구에서는 송전선에서 방출되어지는 전자파의 이론적인 데이터와 실측 데이터의 상관성에 따른 분석 결과를 가지고 실측 데이터 없이 GIS 기반의 3D 시뮬레이션에 의거하여 전자파의 공간적인 가시화를 수행할 수 있었다. 본 전자파 시뮬레이션 기법이 실무에 이용될 경우, 일반인이 전자파의 분포에 대한 전문지식을 습득할 필요 없이, 검색하고자 하는 지역과 송전선, 전철 등 각종 전자파의 발생 공간 객체를 선택하여 실생활과 관련된 전자파 정보에 예측할 수 있어, 대민 환경정보 서비스 질의 개선측면에서 획기적인 계기를 마련할 것으로 사료된다.

An Instructional Design for the Converged English-Science Teaching Method using PBL Model in Elementary School (PBL 모형을 적용한 초등학교 영어·과학 융합 수업 모델 설계)

  • In order to cultivate talented people with national economic influence in the rapidly changing 21st- century modern society, STEM(Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) education has been emphasized in advanced countries such as America and England. In South Korea, STEAM(Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics) education is emphasized by adding Arts. The objective of STEAM education is to strengthen the interest and motivation of learners, to focus on experience, exploration, experimentation, to solve convergent thinking and real-life problems, rather than cramming method of teaching and memorization. This study identifiesan instructional design for converged English, the world's official language, and science which is found in nearly all disciplines. With the development of the 4th industrial revolution based on the PBL model, learners participate in their lessons voluntarily for problem-solving skills. The instructional design based on the ADDIE model consists of 5 procedures: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The goal of fostering talented people with national economic influence is also important, and the teacher in education must recognize the importance of STEAM education and an appropriate instructional design should be studied constantly.
