  • Nowadays the importance of Building Remodeling as a means to create an architectural environment capable of responding to the social, economic changes has increased more than before. After long time pass, the aged building have faced the need for the overall repair of the structure and function. Remodeling is much more saving the time and cost than new construction in the office building. This study was focused in functional and efficient evaluation. Based on these points, we developed the evaluation factors, and verified a validity of evaluation factors through a survey. The purpose of this study was focused on the Analysis for Recognizing the priority of Indoor Environmental Factors in office Remodeling. This study provides us the competitive guidance of remodeling. The owners and tenants take the maximum efficiency with the minimum cost.

  • This research analyze the demand of the residents against the public housing remodeling of national housing scale $(85m^2)$, focusing on residents and their tendencies within their dwelling spaces. The analysis determines the most appropriate patterns and spatial connections within the floor plan. The result includes that there are two types of the classification into an urban oriented propensity (45%), 'The center of city, the apartment and the convenience' etc, and a rural oriented propensity (55%), 'The pastoral, the house and the circumstance' etc, based on their lifestyle values. Also there are three interior propensity classifications, those tending to warm and sensitive variable space (42%), western and gorgeous dynamic space (34%) and oriental and popular static space (24%). The research illustrated the residents' desired space planning options, based on the analysis of the residents' preference patterns which is various.

  • The present time this country is faced with general hospital building remodeling time from the constructing age. In architecture, one of the reconstruction of consciousness, remodeling significance Is restoration of capacity a generally structure. Through this research we acquire concluding remarks. 1) In hospital extension and reconstruction works set a different counterplot proportionately with part that are the ward areas, the outpatient areas, the diagnosis/treatment areas, the supply areas, the administration areas, the education/research areas, the miscellaneous areas etc. According to department's character and use various purposes take proper measures. Then it estimation that remodeling study shall be need. 2) It is advisable the way of connection the existing facilities if it extended case. The case of K hospital has been extended outskirts the main building. As this an enlargement of a outhouse has an advantage that secure construction area at a stretch and no exert Influence on both nature lighting and construction matter. On the contrary caused [defect that is repeatedly occur a faculty relocation and the inner part alteration because of it\`s post transfer.

  • The purpose of this study is to research on the actual condition for remodelling of front balcony In Apartment residence. It is analysed the theorical study, Question research and the point at issue of balcony space. The results were as follows : First, it has lowered the practical use of balcony space. The resolution at issue need the plan with demand of dwellers. Second, it is classified three categories about demand of dwellers : the space of nature & ecology, utility and finally rest like living function.   • As remodeling market is growing and peoples' concern on health and well-being is getting high, there is a need to apply environmentally friendly approach to remodeling an interior space. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide basic information on environmentally friendly remodeling process focused on the implementation of interior construction process. The method of this study was two-folds. First, previous researches were reviewed to drive general remodeling process, and then content of implementation of environmentally friendly remodeling process were added. Second, semi-structured interview was conducted to eight experts in interior design who were members of KOSID. The results of this study are as follows; (1) Applying environmentally friendly method to remodeling will be essential. Therefore, it is necessary to develop various types of environmentally friendly finish materials and methods and continuing attention should be paid. (2) For broad implementing an environmentally friendly application on remodeling, builders, interior designers, manufacturers, and clients should change their consciousness through education and publicity, (3) The results showed that using environmentally friendly materials was the most primary concern for the designers. However, there is a lack of information about contamination derived from materials when manufacturing and constructing and even wastes. Thus designers should be aware of using environmentally friendly verified materials regarding materials itself and its manufacturing process.

  • Recently, in accordance with the interesting on well-being as well as the revitalization of living athletics, it is current tendency that people who use the swimming pools are on increasing. However, because the most of indoor swimming pools have ever used the reflection finishing materials likely as the tile due to the property of its hydrophilic space, the inside of indoor swimming pool is vibrating too much, and some problem which the voice and music do not delivering clearly is occurring when swimming lessons or underwater aerobics(synchronized swimming) and swimming game. Based on such viewpoint, locating the object on actually built indoor swimming pool, this Study has ever grasped its physical acoustic property, and finally designed the indoor swimming pool that contains an optimum acoustic condition, by remodelling it through an acoustic simulation. It is considered that such study result could be utilized as the useful materials when constructing the similar indoor swimming pool, hereafter.

  • 국토해양부(장관 정종환)는 두통, 아토피 등 새집증후군을 예방하고 공동주택 입주민들이 건강하게 거주할 수 있도록 “청정건강주택(Clean Healthy House) 건설기준”을 제정하였으며, 올해 12월 1일 이후에 주택건설사업계획승인 신청을 하는 1천세대 이상 신축 또는 리모델링 주택부터 적용한다고 밝혔다. 국토해양부가 청정건강주택 건설기준을 마련한 것은 현재의 "다중이용시설 등의 실내공기질 관리법" 등 새집증후군 관련 규정이 건축자재에서 발생하는 일부 유해물질의 실내공기中농도만을 규제함으로써 새집증후군 문제를 근본적으로 해결하는 데는 한계가 있으므로, 주택의 설계 시공부터 입주후 유지관리 단계까지 주택을 청정하고 건강하게 건설 관리할 수 있는 기준을 제시한 것이다.

  • The population of the elderly is rapidly increased because maturation of the social welfare system and development of medical technology. However, welfare environments for the elderly are poor either in its quality or its quantity. The aims of this study is to confirm the space improvement possibility to change the Gyung Ro Dang to the senior life support center as a community welfare service network. This study is done by the comparative analysis between existing Gyung Ro Dang in korea and former cases in Japan based on the elderly's facility preference. The facility's space reprogramming alternative from that analysis is applied to change the Gyung Ro Dang to a network facility for the regional senior life support. Afterward, it is proposed that first, facilities should be expanded scale by the new education and health improvement facilities functional room that the modern elderly need. second, Facility space will be reconstitution because the Gyung Ro Dang have to be extended it's role as a community welfare network.
