  • 현재 여러 기업들에서 자율 출퇴근제 및 자율좌석제를 시행하고 있으나, 이를 관리할 수 있는 시스템이 상용화되지 않고 있다. 이러한 제도를 시행하면서 발생하는 불편함을 해결하기 위해 본 프로젝트는 최근 주목받는 BLE 비콘을 활용한 블루투스 통신으로 모바일 어플리케이션 내에서 실내 위치 기반의 다양한 서비스를 제공하여 기업 및 직원 불편을 해소하고, 보다 나은 근무 환경과 새로운 형태의 비즈니스 종합편의 플랫폼을 제안한다.

  • Personal mobile devices such as mobile phone, PMP and MP3 player have advanced incredibly. Such advance in mobile technology ignites the research related to the life-log to understand the daily life of an user. Since life-log collected by mobile sensors can aid memory of the user, many researches have been conducted. This paper suggests a methodology for user-context recognition and visualization based on the outdoor location by GPS as well as indoor location by wireless-lan. When the GPS sensor does not work well in an indoor location, wireless-lan plays a major role in recognizing the location of an user so that the recognition of user-context become more accurate. In this paper, we have also developed the method for visualization of the life-log based on map and blog interfaces. In the experiments, subjects have collected real data with mobile devices and we have evaluated the performance of the proposed visualization and context recognition method based on the data.

  • Recently, indoor location recognition technology using Wi-Fi fingerprints has been applied and operated in various industrial fields and public services. Along with the interest in machine learning technology, location recognition technology based on machine learning using wireless signal data around a terminal is rapidly developing. At this time, in the process of collecting radio signal data required for machine learning, the accuracy of location recognition is lowered due to distorted or unsuitable data for learning. In addition, when location recognition is performed based on data collected at a specific location, a problem occurs in location recognition at surrounding locations that are not included in the learning. In this paper, we propose a learning data preprocessing technique to obtain an improved position recognition result through the preprocessing of the collected learning data.

  • 최근 병원이 주체가 되어 유비쿼터스 인프라를 구축하여, 이를 기반으로 병원 구성원뿐만 아니라 환자에 이르기까지 다양한 병원 정보 서비스를 제공하기 위한 연구와 시범사업이 이루어지고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 u-병원 환경에서 위치기반 가이드 시스템을 제안한다. 제한한 시스템의 소프트웨어 구조는 기존 연구되었던 분산객체그룹프레임워크(Distributed Object Group Framework)와 JADE(Java Agent DEvelopment Framework)를 기반으로 한다. 특히, RFID를 이용한 실내 위치 추적 기술과 본 연구실에서 연구해온 분산 프레임워크를 바탕으로 병원을 대상으로 하여 환자의 위치에 따르는 각 검사실의 위치와 검사에 필요한 정보를 제공한다. 이를 위해 시스템을 구성하는 전체 시스템 구조와 구성요소 간 상호작용에 대해 기술하였다. 그리고 물리적인 환경을 보이고 시스템의 수행과정을 모바일 디바이스상의 사용자 GUI를 통해 보였다.

  • With the expansion of the indoor service-providing robot market and the electrification of automobiles, research on autonomous driving is being actively conducted. In general, in the case of outside, the location is mainly recognized through GPS, and location positioning is performed indoors using technologies such as WiFi, UWB (Ultra-Wide Band), VLP, LiDAR, and Vision. In this paper, we introduce a system for location-positioning using LED lights with different color temperatures in an indoor environment. After installing LED lights in a simulated environment such as a tunnel, it was shown that information about the current location can be obtained through the analysis of chromaticity values according to location. Through this, it is expected to be able to obtain information about the location of the vehicle in the tunnel and the movement of the device in a room such as a warehouse or a factory.

  • This paper proposes a method for estimating the location of a user using a beacon to provide a service in an indoor environment. To estimate the location using the beacon, a Gaussian filter was applied to the RSSI value of the beacon, and the distance conversion function was obtained through the filtered RSSI value to estimate the tag location by trilateration. Then, in the indoor space where the beacons are installed, the location estimation accuracy of 8 places where 3 beacons are at a certain distance was confirmed. As a result, it was possible to confirm the position estimation accuracy of ±0.097 standard deviation and 0.242 distance error.

  • The optimal AP placement for wireless LAN is important factor for improving service quality and reducing cost. Decision of AP placement is depend on radio signal strength, environment factor and logical area property, which is user's frequently posed place. This paper proposes optimal multiple AP placement method based on radio prediction tool. The proposed method can get flexibility in multiple AP placement using user defined parameter and the optimization design uses Hopfield network algorithm. And path-loss model is used for one of radion prediction model. The result of simulation shows that it is efficiently reduces the process to find optimal AP placement. And the proposed optimization design of multiple AP placement can improve service quality for wireless LAN.

  • The inner space of building is increasingly becoming complex as urban activities increase in variety, and the actual space size also increases. This trend necessitate the utilization of three dimensional position information within the inner space of buildings. Standard GIS web service technology and visualization technology are applied to 3D inner space building data to share these information for better decision making in building related applications such as fire evacuation, facilities management and market analysis. This study aims to effectively model and visualize the three dimensional space of building interiors in the GIS aspect, and to be able to share the information through standard GIS web service. The various elements of inner model was assigned and stored into pre-designed spatial database tables respectively. GIS web server was then configured to service the database which was populated with 3D inner model data. On the client side, 3D visualization modules was developed using a 3D graphic rendering S/W engine.

  • Currently, the importance of location-based services and location awareness has been grown due to the advancement of wireless communication technologies. Among several localization techniques, the trilateration localization is one of major localization techniques. However, distance estimation errors caused by obstacles and indoor environment changes lead to inaccurate localization. Although there are existing trilateration localization methods, they have focused on addressing a few problems of trilateration location approaches without detailed analysis. This paper analyzes existing trilateration location methods and evaluate their performance.
