  • 인구 과밀화 및 급격한 도시 팽창은 지상공간에서 거주하는 인간 삶의 질을 위협하고 있다. 따라서 지상공간의 개발을 억제하여 환경을 보호하고 도시 공간 이용의 효율성을 최대화하기 위해 지하 공간을 개발하고자 하는 움직임이 활발하다. 자연환경으로부터 격리된 구조인 지하공간은 지상공간에 비해 실내 공기 질을 쾌적한 상태로 유지하기 어려운 밀폐된 환경이므로 오랜 시간동안 상주하는 거주자 및 한시적 이용자들의 건강에 영향을 미치는 온도, 습도, $CO_2$, 먼지 등의 환경을 제어하기 위한 기술 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 지하공간의 쾌적도 향상을 위해 온 습도 및 $CO_2$, 먼지센서를 이용한 통합 센서를 제작하여 현재 지하공간의 환경정보를 실시간 모니터링하고 실내공간의 쾌적 지표를 기반으로 환풍기, 송풍기 등의 디바이스를 제어하기 위한 USN 기반의 환경제어시스템을 구현한다. 제안한 시스템을 통해 지하공간의 환경을 개선할 뿐만 아니라 고가의 계측 장비로 인한 비용 절감 및 이동성과 확장성 등의 부가적인 효과를 기대한다.

  • 사람 검출 시스템은 카메라의 위치 및 각도 등에 큰 영향을 받는다. 이로 인해 획득한 2D 영상에서 사람은 위치에 따라 각기 다른 크기를 갖는 형태로 나타난다. 이러한 요인들은 사람 검출 시스템의 실시간 구현을 어렵게 만드는 요인이 된다. 본 논문에서는 실내 공간의 구조를 깊이맵으로 구성하여, 이로부터 3D 공간을 구성한다. 3D 공간에서는 어느 위치에서든지 사람의 크기가 일관되므로 이를 2D 영상으로 투영하게 되면 2D 영상의 좌표에 따른 정확한 사람의 크기를 추정할 수 있다. 실험 결과로부터 제안 방법의 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • This paper investigates applicability of Microsoft $Kinect^{(R)}$, RGB-depth camera, to implement a 3D image and spatial information for sensing a target. The relationship between the image of the Kinect camera and the pixel coordinate system is formulated. The calibration of the camera provides the depth and RGB information of the target. The intrinsic parameters are calculated through a checker board experiment and focal length, principal point, and distortion coefficient are obtained. The extrinsic parameters regarding the relationship between the two Kinect cameras consist of rotational matrix and translational vector. The spatial images of 2D projection space are converted to a 3D images, resulting on spatial information on the basis of the depth and RGB information. The measurement is verified through comparison with the length and location of the 2D images of the target structure.

  • Since mid 1990s, the domestic market in Korea has been changing drastically especially in the field of discount stores. The competition among this market is more severe and the consuming pattern is also changed. This study is to examine the correlation between the customer's circulation and the spatial configuration by using Space Syntax and VMD pattern through the MD plan of each floor in Discount store. Throughout this study, it tries to find out the Quantitative analysis among three factors - the customer's circulation, spatial configuration and VMD investigation. The pattern of customer's circulation appears differently according to the identity of customer and store layout, but with the result, customer's circulation system is in accordance with the floor layout in the store. In result of the study, the circulation of the customer was found to have a close relationship with spatial structure that is composed by the MD pattern in a discount store in the area of food section. Also, the circulation system in the rest area except food section is more affected by the VMD pattern rather than spatial structure.

  • We intend to illustrate how contemporary architects have conceptualized spaces with words. Language practice is so much important work for the contemporary architects as designing realistic building (material practice) As this point of view we need to interest in theses of architects which contains their unique ideas an characters. The purpose of this study is for understanding how contemporary japanese architects embody through special conception when day design the mixed wooden construction and for looking for the possibility of the development of it. As a result the mixed wooden construction candy understood as an expression form how an architects things about relationship between parts and parts, parts and the whole and the character of materials that consist it and such relationship is determined by the requirement of space.

A Study on the Space Evaluation Structure of Lobby Area in Obstetric Hospitals (산부인과 전문병원 로비의 공간평가구조에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest designing goals and directions in the lobby area of obstetric hospitals by constructing a space evaluation structure model, which is made by image evaluation structure model used by SD method and Advanced Repertory Grid Technique. As a result of the image evaluation used by SD method, it turned out 4 factors which are related to recognizing and evaluating the space formativeness, openness, decorativeness, sensitiveness. I found out the relationship between space evaluation structure and the element of interior space. I also suggested detailed designing method based on this relationship. Space evaluation structure model can be applied to designing lobby areas of obstetric hospitals to reconstruct more specific and objective designing goals and standards rather simply designer's sensitive and abstract designing approach.

  • Although natural and science museum project is being promoted, performance of research that can be recommended for exhibition space plan is not sufficient. Nature and science museum is the space of participation type so structure and type of space depends on the content of exhibition. Therefore, this paper is the gradational research to understand correlation and characteristic and give direction for exhibition space plan suitable for system of exhibition content through analyzing system of exhibition content and structure of exhibition space. Further, prepare basic material for exhibition space of nature and science museum being newly planned or renovated through understanding structure of exhibition space according to exhibition scenario.

  • The whole image of circulation occupied with user has duplicated inter-relationship. It means many situation exist simultaneously, and the character of space factors are completed by the inter-relationship of the detailed structure. The purpose of this study is on the proper notation for circulation analysis of the sequential space structure which is constructed by the formal constituent and the change of visual circumstance influence on the action of user. This study investigate the possibility of notation by arranging the analysis method of the visual space and focusing on the research for the visual perception behaviour of user being applied various space, and the possibility of application as a method of space design.

  • This study aims to understand the correlation between system of exhibition contents and structure of exhibition space in nature and science museums. So, in this paper it deals with 10 examples of overseas nature and science museums as analytical objects, using Space Syntax as an analytical tool. In conclusion, the system of exhibition contents of nature & science museums can be divided into field and theme, and subdivided into total 6 systems according to categorization and integration. The system of exhibition contents by field is generally characterized by unconstricted access and system of exhibition contents by theme is generally marked by high visual openness. And the system of exhibition content according to categorization is characterized by strong concentration on exhibitory convex and its wide distribution.

  • The Affordance, discussed in the theory of ecological perception of environmental psychology, is the concept of perception that deals with inter-relationship between environment and human. It is a theory seeking for gradual evolution, with the change of user experience behavior and the space, by getting feed-backs from the analysis of perception of characteristics of 3-dimensional space and the user as moving entity. Although there has been many attempts to define the Affordance and apply its concept to the architecture, now there's a need to identify the Affordance in the real architectural space, represent Affordance of space and the user inter-relationship in the architecture and apply its design specifically, Thus, the purpose of this study is to present the methodology of applying Affordance in architectural space design by identifying the Affordance of space concept of human experience behavior in the architectural space and analyze its recognition process.
