  • 본 논문은 퍼지 계층분석법을 이용하여 교통신호의 교차로에서의 적합성에 대해서 논의한다. 교차로에서의 교통신호는 현시, 주기 등이 현재의 교차로 상황에 적합한가를 구별하여 판별할 수 있다. 교통신호의 적합성 여부는 현시, 주기를 따로 구별한 신호체계에서의 지체차량의 지체시간을 비교하여 구별한다. 교통 신호체계는 고정신호체계, 최적신호체계, 퍼지응용신호체계를 구별하여 응용단계가 높은 신호체계가 적합성이 높음을 퍼지계층분석법을 이용하여 밝히고 이를 이용 새로운 체계의 교통신호 체계도 제시한다.

  • This paper discusses a fitness of the control on intersection using fuzzy analytic hierachy process. The validity of control of traffic signal on intersection is the fitness of phase and cycle on the intersection. The validity of the controller is cleared by the comparison of the delay time of vehicle. Fuzzy analytic hierachy process clears the grade of validity of the fixed cycle time controller and adaptive fixed cycle time and fuzzy trafic controller and proposes a new control type a traffic signal by this fuzzy analytic hierachy process.

  • This study is aimed at investigating drivers' reactions to yellow signal dilemma situations as a result of the existing signal system, and developing a new signal system. A driver-centered coping model was developed through bio-signal analysis. The driver's physiological response in the existing signal system was observed, and the signal system was developed by applying intersection road driving conditions using a car graphic simulator. Participants were classified into a control group (existing signal system) and an experimental group for a new yellow signal system (new signal system). Based on the results, the emergence of parasympathetic nerves was higher in the experimental group than in the control group, where a statistically significant difference was observed (p < 0.05). The newly developed signal system appeared to cause tension among drivers; however, the sympathetic to parasympathetic nerve ratio was 6: 4, which could be interpreted as an ideal balance. We conclude that drivers can drive more stably if the coping signal system developed in this study is applied to the traffic system.

  • This paper discusses a fitness of the control on intersection network using fuzzy analytic hierachy process. The validity of control of traffic signal on intersection is phase, cycle of intersection. But the aigent of traffic intersection network is relative of intersection article. Therefor the aigent of traffic network intersection is before intersection passing vechile number, delayed vechile number. Fuzzy analytic hierachy process clears the grade of validity of the fixed cycle time controller and adaptive fixed cycle time and fuzzy traffic controller and proposes a new control type a traffic signal by this fuzzy analytic hierachy process.

  • 일반신호기는 정해진 신호시간에 따라 독립적으로 운영되는 정주기신호기와 TOD(Time of Day)식 신호기이다. 이런 일반신호기의 단점으로는 변동되는 교통량에 대응이 불가능하고, 교통량에 관계없이 연속적으로 신호체계가 이루어지기 때문에 차량의 이동성이 비효율적으로 됨에 따라 생산성 감소, 에너지낭비 및 자동차 배기가스 증가를 초래하고 있다 이를 개선하기 위한 방법으로서 본 논문에서는 4차선의 주차로와 2차선의 소방로로 이루어진 교차로에서 주차로의 교통량이 많을 경우, 차로에서는 녹색불이 지속되어 교통의 흐름을 원활하게 해주며, 소방로에서 차량이 일정량 증가하게 되면, 주차로의 신호등이 적색등을 바꾸어 소방로의 차량이 교통되도록 하는 지능형 교통체계에 대해 VHDL을 이용하여 지능형 신호체계 시스템을 설계하였다.

  • In 1968, United Nation prepared conventions to promote the safety and vitalization of traffic to accomodate increased international business and personal activities. They are convention on rad traffic and convention on road signs and signals. These conventions define the shape, color and the operational guidelines of signs, marking and traffic signals. However, the Korean road traffic law enforces independently the manufactural and operational guidelines of those devices and marking. Due to different regulations described in those two, potential problem might be expected in terms of international traffic in the near future in Korea. This paper presents the academical comparison between these two different road traffic regulations established by the Korean legislature and United Nation. It suggests a list of researches recommended for the nation to be ready to integrate international traffic.

  • 날로 심각한 도시문제가 되고 있는 교통문제를 효과적으로 해결하기 위해서는 교통체증을 정확하게 진단해서 교통망의 효율을 최대로 높일 수 있도록 교통 신호체계를 수립하는 것이 요구되며, 이것을 위해서는 실시간으로 변화되는 교통류에 적절히 대응할 수 있도록 원활한 교통 신호체계를 최적화하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 실시간으로 변화되는 교통류에 대응해서 원활한 교통소통을 위한 신호조정의 문제를 다수의 신호등을 대상으로 가능한 서로 다른 여러 신호조정의 조합들 중 최적안을 찾는 최적화 문제로 보았다. 본 논문에서는 휴리스틱 탐색기법을 이용하여 교통류의 변화에 따라 최적의 교통 신호체계를 수립할 수 있는 교통 신호체계 최적화 시스템을 제시하고, 부산광역시 부전동 일대의 12개 교차로를 포함하는 교통망에 대한 교통정보를 바탕으로 실험해봄으로써 실시간 적용가능성을 보여준다.

  • Many cities, recently, have convertedoptimized fixed-time control to adaptive traffic system in the control of their signalized traffic network. The expected benefit from the adaptive traffic system is its ability to constantly modify signal timing to most effectively accommodate changed traffic conditions. While the potential benefits from this control structure may be significant, few studies have compared the effect of implementing this method of signal control against other alternative signal control strategies, because it is too difficult to evaluate the efficiency of the real-time adaptive system. The objectives of this research are : to develop a microscopic simulator and to compare the effect at isolated intersections, corridors, and networks between the fixed signal timing plan and adaptive traffic signal system. This simulator will have allowed more sophisticated analysis techniques for the study of traffic control. Also, this research using this simulator evaluated a real-time traffic responsive signal system used in Seoul Korea

Development of a Communication Protocol for a Digital Traffic Signal Controller (디지털 교통신호제어기 통신체계 개발)

  • Most of the current traffic signal controller use load switches to transmit high voltage power to the signal lamps. The direct transmission of high voltage power may cause a lot of problems like leakages of electric power, obstructions of pedestrian, environmental disfigurements. To overcome these problems, the development of digital type signal controller has been trying in the various methods. Digital communication between a master controller and signal lamps is the most important part to improve control performance in the digital type controller. A communication system for the digital signal controller was developed in this study. The system bases on CAN specification, includes ID structure for most peripheral devices like loops, signal lamps, push buttons, police switches. The operability of this system verified with a software based CAN simulation tool.
