총 101개 대학의 93년도 신입생 및 졸업생을 대상으로 실시한 정보통신산업의 기술인력 실태조사에 따르면 정보통신산업 관련학과 신입생 수는 30,436명, 졸업생수는 18,476명으로 나타났다. 또한 석.박사의 인력현황을 살펴보면 석사과정으로 1,614명, 박사과정으로 252명이 배출됐다. 이 실태조사를 토대로 정보통신산업 인력수급을 전체적으로 전망하면 학사인력은 충분할 것으로 보이지만 석.박사인력은 부족할 것으로 예상된다.

The population of internet users are rapidly increasing and the interest of the internet survey is also increasing. Recent years has seen a transition from traditional modes of data collection into internet survey. Some surveys are administered with mixed modes of traditional data collection methods and internet survey, and some surveys are conducted through internet only instead of traditional modes, such as telephone survey, postal survey, face-to-face interviews and so on. However, one of most crucial parts of a survey is the reliability of the collected data and internet survey is no exemption. Changwon National University has been annually conducting a survey of new students and transfer students with almost same contents of questionnaire. The survey is a longitudinal survey and it had been administered by paper-pencil surveys until 2009. In 2010 the survey was administered through internet. Every students has to login with student ID number and the last 7-digit of national identity registration number, and complete the 2010 survey before registration their courses. If they leave any question without being answered, then could not move to the registration site for courses. This study explores the distortion of responses using the new students survey of Changwon National University, which could occur when the survey responses are not confidential. We find that the distortion of responses occurs from the questions with social desirability pressure, pressure of winning favor with the researcher, and pressure of explaining their situations. There are no distortion of responses from the questions which are describing simple opinions or simple facts, for example, the place they plan to live while in school.

This study was motivated by recognizing the weakness of teaching and learning about the concepts of statements in high school mathematics curriculum. To report the reality of students' understanding about statements, this study investigated the 33 first-year undergraduate students' understanding about the concepts of statements by giving them 22 statement problems. The problems were selected based on the conceptual framework including five types of statement concepts which are considered as the key ideas for understanding mathematical reasoning and proof in college level mathematics. The analysis of the participants' responses to the statement problems found that their understanding about the concepts of prepositions are very limited and extremely based on the instrumental understanding applying an appropriate remembered rule to the solution of a preposition problem without knowing why the rule works. The results from this study will give the information for effective teaching and learning of statements in college level mathematics, and give the direction for the future reforming the unite of statements in high school mathematics curriculum as well.

학습동아리는 대학생들에게 학업보충 뿐 아니라 자격증취득, 취업준비 등 여러 목적으로 매우 유용한 도구가 될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 학습동아리 참여 실태에 대한 조사를 연구 범위로 한다. 조사방법론으로는 대전의 한 대학교의 학생들에게 설문을 통하여 학습동아리 참여 여부와 미참여 시의 이유, 그리고 참여 시 참여 이유 등을 파악하는 설문방법을 취한다. 먼저 성별과 학년별 학습동아리 참여의 차이가 있는지를 분석하고, 미참여 이유와 참여 이유에 있어 성별에 따른 차이와 학년에 따른 차이를 SPSS 20 통계패키지를 이용하여 검증한다. 검증 결과는 남학생의 학습동아리 참여가 높고 학년별로는 신입생보다 재학생들이 당연히 참여 비율이 월등히 높아 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있음이 나타났다. 참여 이유로는 자발적 필요성이 70%에 달해 월등히 높은 비율을 나타냈다. 한편 미참여 이유는 아르바이트 등으로 시간이 없다는 응답이 50%를 넘어 경제적 형편을 반영하고 있다. 성별, 학년별 참여, 미참여 이유는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다.

Background: The prevalence of tuberculosis is closely related to socioeconomic status. Although the nation-wide prevalence of pulmonary tuberculosis was constantly decreasing during past 30years, there were few studies about prevalence of specific social groups in Korea. We examined prevalence of pulmonary tuberculosis among university freshmen, which might represent one of the specific social groups in Korea. Methods: The prevalence of radiologically active pulmonary tuberculosis among Seoul National University(SNU) freshmen was investigated from 1988 to 1997. And those results were compared with prevalence data of SNU freshmen from 1977 to 1987 and also with prevalence of age matched general population. Results: There was continuous decrement of prevalence of pulmonary tuBerculosis among university freshmen. In 1985 and 1990, there was significant prevalence difference between university freshmen and general population. But in 1995, the prevalence of both groups was not significantly different. Conclusion: The prevalence of pulmonary tuberculosis in university freshmen has decreased steadily. The prevalence of pulmonary tuberculosis in university freshmen was lower than that of age-matched general population during past 20years. However, this trend was not evident in 1995.

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the computer education experience of high school graduates that were taught under the 7th curriculum and present insight into the making of required courses for college. To achieve this purpose questionnaires were given to college freshmen to fill out about computer education performed not only during middle school, but also outside of the classroom. For suggestions towards computer courses for college students, how students are being taught the use of computers, how students are using computers, and the computer proficiency of the students were assessed.

이제는 스마트폰은 현대인의 생활에 있어 없어서는 안되는 필수 용품이 되었다. 수많은 스마트폰용 어플리케이션은 편리하고 다양한 혜택을 제공해 주고 있다. 대학생들에게도 사용하는 많은 어플리케이션이 있지만 그중에서도 교육용 어플리케이션의 사용 실태는 관심의 대상이라고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 교육용 어플리케이션의 사용에 대한 양적인 조사를 연구 범위로 한다. 조사방법론으로는 대전의 한 대학교의 학생들에게 설문을 통하여 교육용 어플리케이션 사용 여부와 사용 시간, 그리고 어플리케이션 선택 경위를 파악하는 설문방법을 취한다. 먼저 성별과 학년별 스마트폰 종류의 차이가 있는지를 분석하고, 교육용 앱 사용 여부와 사용시간, 그리고 어플리케이션 선택 경위에 있어 스마트폰 종류, 성별에 따른 차이와 학년에 따른 차이를 SPSS 20 통계 패키지를 이용하여 검증한다. 검증 결과는 성별 보유 스마트폰의 종류는 차이가 없으나 학년별로는 신입생보다 재학생들이 아이폰을 사용하는 비율이 월등히 높아 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있음이 나타났다. 한편 스마트폰 종류별로 교육용 앱의 사용시간에 차이가 있어 안드로이드폰을 사용하는 경우가 아이폰보다 통계적으로 유의하게 긴 시간을 사용하고 있었다. 하지만 성별, 학년별 사용시간은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다.

The purpose of the study was to identify the associated factors on the smartphone addiction of university freshmen. Collected data were analyzed with SPSS 26.0 using t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and logistic regression. Depression and anxiety was statistically significant. As a result of the multiple regression I. the factors affecting were self-injury attempt experience, gender. The results of regression model II with depression and anxiety were depression and gender. It is intended to present the necessity of a program related to predicting smartphone addiction of university freshmen.

The reading activity of university students is the key element for the cultivation of creative human resources, and each university develops and performs the various cultural education and library program. Actually, the university libraries check the service periodically through library satisfaction surveys and the library user's actual condition survey to improve it, but the amount of reading, number of books lent and the rate of borrowers are still under expectation. Therefore, in this research, an in-depth analysis of lending books data for freshmen, as the service improvement and revitalization measures of university libraries for students, suggested the following: (1) the early education for the library users, (2) the opening of the students-participating library collections, (3) the use of the data using a library for the consulting with students (4) the establishment of the library depositary for education support, and (5) the introduction of the library CRM for individual student. Through this result, it would be substantially helpful for each university library (including two-year college), in which the number of lending books and the rate of borrowers are below expectations.
