Concomitant renal cell carcinomas (RCC) of both native and allograft kidneys are extremely rare, and only a few cases have been reported in the available English literature. A particularly rare variant within the adult population is the Xp11.2 translocation/transcription factor E3 (TFE3)-rearranged RCC. Although few case reports of TFE3-rearranged RCC have been reported in children who underwent kidney transplantation (KT), no case of adults with TFE3-rearranged RCC following KT has been reported. Herein, we presented the radiological and pathological findings of a rare metachronous papillary RCC in the allograft kidney and TFE3-rearranged RCC in the native kidney. The TFE3-rearranged RCC in the native kidney exhibited slow expansion in size over five years. Radiologically, it appeared as a slightly enhanced, lobulated mass on contrast-enhanced CT. MRI revealed high signal intensity on T1-weighted images and low signal intensity on T2-weighted images.

In this study, stress relaxation behaviors of nonwoven geotextile and geomembrane which have protection, filtration and drainage, water barrier functions, respectively were examined. 'Theory of transition phenomen' was applied to interpretate the stress relaxation behaviors of two geosynthetics. The initial and later relaxation times for stress relaxation behaviors of geosynthetics were derived from the constitutive equations. The initial relaxation behaviors of these geosynthetics were dependent on the additional strains and were especially faster with temperature. Finally, both relaxation times of geosynthetics were shorter with additional strain and temperature and the reduction of relaxation times of nonwoven geotextile were larger than those of geomembrane.

동대구역 복합환승센터는 교통과 상업시설이 복합 개발되는 국내 첫 프로젝트로서 KTX, 도시철도, 고속 시외버스 등 모든 대중교통을 한곳에서 갈아탈 수 있는 원스톱 환승체계 구축은 물론 쇼핑, 문화, 컨벤션, 테마파크 등 복합문화 시설이 융합된 대구 경북지역의 랜드마크다. 12월 15일 동대구역 신세계백화점 오픈과 함께 준공 예정인 동대구역 복합환승센터는 동남권의 신교통 중심지이자 지역사회 활성화 등 새로운 미래를 여는 기폭제라는 의미에서 대구 시민뿐만 아니라 전국에서도 관심을 모으고 있다. 이 복합환승센터가 완공되면 직접고용 6천여명에 간접고용 포함 1만8천여개의 일자리 창출에 기여할 것으로 전망돼 대구시 전체 경제에 미치는 영향은 생산유발효과 2조4천억원, 부가가치 유발효과 4조2천억원에 달할 것으로 기대된다. 150여개의 백화점과 이마트의 풍부한 시공 노하우로 미래를 선도하는 신세계건설이 종합시공을, 쾌적한 환경 조성으로 삶의 질 향상에 적극 앞장서는 (주)우진아이엔에스(대표 홍평우 손광근)가 주요 기계설비를 시공하고 있다. 본지는 백화점 오픈 및 복합환승센터 준공을 위해 마무리작업에 박차를 가하고 있는 신세계건설 문길남 상무(현장소장)와 이종국 기계설비 부장, (주)우진아이엔에스 전명규 현장소장을 만났다.

This study examines influences of service employees' relational efforts on gratitude, indebtedness and purchase behaviors. The results follower like these. First, service employees' relational efforts have positive effects on gratitude(feelings of gratitude and gratitude-based reciprocal behaviors). And gratitude has a positive effect on purchase behaviors. Second, service employees' relational efforts have positive effects on indebtedness and indebtedness has a positive effect on purchase behaviors. It means gratitude and indebtedness can use marketing factors to influence on consumer behavior. But, indebtedness showed significantly close to the threshold, and the impact of indebtedness on purchase behaviors has the lowest than feelings of gratitude and gratitude-based reciprocal behaviors. Thus, it needs to be careful to use indebtedness as a marketing factor.

The purpose of the study was to evaluate how much gastropod shell effected its properties better than crushed stone as coarse grained materials by comparing friction properties of a contact surface between coarse grained materials and geosynthetics with the large-scale direct shear test. To achieve the purpose, the study compared and analyzed friction coefficient and friction angle by making crushed stone or gastropod shell into model ground and by installing and shearing non-woven fabric or geostrip geosynthetics. As the results of the analysis, crushed stone had the internal friction angle of $33.8^{\circ}$ when its unit weight was $13.7kN/m^3$ and gastropod shell had the internal friction angle of $35.4^{\circ}$ when its unit weight was $5.4kN/m^3$. Also, the friction angle of a contact surface between geosynthetics and crushed stone was larger than the friction angle of a contact surface between geosynthetics and gastropod shell.

Background: Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) are involved in the degradation of the extracellular matrix, which is an important step in tumor invasion and metastasis. A positive correlation between the expression of MMP-9 and aggressive behavior of renal cell carcinomas (RCCs) has been reported. MMP-9 expression in RCCs and adjacent normal kidney tissues were examined in this study. Materials and Methods: Twenty-five patients pathologically diagnosed as clear cell RCCs, from specimens obtained at radical nephrectomy, between May 2003 and December 2004 were enrolled in this study. MMP-9 activity was estimated using gelatin zymography, and quantified using a laser densitometer. The results were compared with clinicopathological characteristics. Results: The expression of MMP-9 was significantly elevated in the RCC compared with non-tumor kidney specimens (p<0.01). The levels of MMP-9 expression in the RCC patients with large tumors (>4 cm) or vascular invasion were significantly higher than in those without these clinical manifestations (p<0.01). There were also significant differences in the expression of MMP-9 among T stages (p<0.01). The tissue MMP-9 level was the highest in nuclear grade 4, but there was no statistical significance between the histological grades (p=0.17). Conclusions: These results suggest that enhanced MMP-9 expression contributes to carcinogenesis and tumor progression in the later stages of RCC.
