The Effects of Prosocial PR Appeals on Policy Acceptance: a case of Environmental Policy (친사회성 정책홍보 메시지의 소구유형이 정책수용에 미치는 영향)

  • The objective of this study is to find out whether policy acceptance(attitude formation and intention of action) is affected by the message appeals(rational vs. emotional) when policy PR messages emphasize prosociality, and by various factors such as trust in government, involvement, and demographic factors as moderating variables. Although message appeals does not show any difference by itself, interaction effect is observed between trust in government and message appeals; the rational appeal is more effective to those with low trust in government while the emotional appeal is more effective to those with high trust. No other interaction effect is founded but involvement, gender, and age group show important main effect in policy acceptance; high-involvement group and female group are more favorable in attitude toward prosocial policy and behavior intention compare to the each of counterparts, whereas older group is more favorable in behavior intention.

  • This study examined how four domains of corporate social responsibility (CSR) affect the trust and distrust of corporations and contribute to their reputation. In particular, this study examined the mediation role of trust and distrust between CSR domains and reputation. The results showed that ethical responsibility and philanthropic responsibility had influence on trust. Legal responsibility had a significant effect on the distrust. Companies that did not fulfill legal responsibilities were more likely to be distrusted. The influence of trust on corporate reputation was significant. The results of this study indicated that trust was a mediator between ethical responsibility, philanthropic responsibility, and reputation. Economic responsibility had a direct influence on reputation. Theoretical and practical implications for strategic approach in each CSR domain are discussed.

Exploring Predictors of Preventive Behavior against COVID-19:Centered on Korean Collegians' Social Distancing (코로나19 예방행동 영향요인의 탐색: 우리나라 대학생의 사회적 거리두기를 중심으로)

  • For over two years, after COVID-19 was first reported in the last quarter of 2019, the world has suffered from the pandemic. The Korean government has taken an initiative and has implemented a variety of policies to protect people from COVID-19. These policies have resulted in some suffering and inconvenience for people. In this context, we aim to find out what factors influence Korean college students' intention to social distance. We surveyed with Google's online survey tool(Google Form) for 116 Korean college students using a convenient sampling from December 30, 2020, to January 8, 2021. We put perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived health status, level of involvement, and trust in the policy as independent variables into a multiple regression equation using the stepwise method. We found that intention to social distance was predicted by perceived susceptibility, level of involvement, and trust in the policy in the final model. The findings mean that the more people perceive themselves susceptible to COVID-19, and the more they get involved with COVID-19, and the more they trust their governmental policies on COVID-19, the more they agree on social distancing.

  • 지난 수년간 주요 선진국들은 스마트그리드의 도입을 적극적으로 추진하여 왔으며, 이에 대한 연구도 많이 진행된 상황이다. 스마트그리드의 활성화를 위해서는 개인정보보호에 대한 대책이 필수이며 이를 기반으로 사용자에게 신뢰성 있는 서비스가 제공되어져야 한다. 이러한 서비스 제공을 위해서는 개인정보보호에 대한 기술적인 부분만이 아니라 정책적인 부분도 동시에 고려되어야 한다. 본 고에서는 스마트그리드에서의 안전한 개인정보보호 정책 수립을 위한 고려사항에 대하여 살펴본다.

  • Citizen perception is increasingly emphasized as one of the critical factors in establishing public policies including river management. Our results show that citizens expect integrated river management by specialized river management organization. We found that the river condition was perceived more negatively than the actual status of water quality and river ecosystem by citizens. The gap in perception implies that it is important to restore the reliability of river management. Therefore, it is necessary to encourage organizations with public trust to participate in river management. and credible river management policies should be established and implemented.

  • 본 논문은 사회네트워크(social network system, SNS)에 대한 사용자의 추가적 사용의도를 개인정보보호의 관점에서 고찰하였다. SNS에서 사용자는 SNS의 운영 시스템과 사용자간 정보의 교류가 이루어지는 SNS사이트라는 서로 다른 두 주체와의 상호작용을 통하여 개인정보의 보호 정도를 인지하게 되고, 이러한 인지정도는 사회네트워크시스템과 SNS사이트에 대한 신뢰에 각각 영향을 미치고, 이 신뢰는 사용자의 사용의도를 증가시킨다는 연구모델을 설정하고 가설을 검정하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 SNS 시스템과 SNS 사이트에 대해 사용자가 인지하는 개인정보보호의 수준은 SNS시스템과 SNS사이트에 대한 신뢰 수준에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 반면, 사용자의 추가적 사용의도는 단지 SNS 시스템의 신뢰에 의해서만 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The purposes of this study are to verify if social responsibility activities of domestic companies and organizations who are widening the area of corporate social responsibility activities make a significant effect on the Labor-Management Relations of the company statistically and suggest political and strategic tasks the company must assume if the corporate social responsibility activities are to make positive and negative effects on organizational trust and Labor-Management Relations by members of the company. The results of the study can be summarized as follows. First, companies make a positive effect partially on the standard of employees' confidence for the organization through the corporate social responsibility activities. Second, corporate social responsibility activities have an effect partially on the Labor-Management Relations which are one of the variables influencing an organization's results. Third, the improvement of employees' organizational trust had a significant effect on Labor-Management Relations. Therefore, the results of this study verified the direct and indirect effects between organizational trust and Labor-Management Relations which are important factors of companies' social responsibility and organizational results which were not treated in the precedent studies.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate how the consultant proactive personality and benevolence influence on the trust and innovative performance. The results show that first, consultant proactive personality affects cognitive trust and consultant benevolence have an effect on emotional trust. Second, perceptual trusts for the consultant behavior have a relationship with innovative performance and we confirmed mediation effect of trust. This study have important meaning that we analysis plus effect on the emotion factor when we determine the trust formation factor in the consulting performed process.

  • 최근 금융권에서는 고객의 편리성을 높이기 위해서 여러 인증 수단으로 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 본 논문은 인증 수단을 네 가지의 보증 등급으로 통제 수단에 따라 나누어 제시한다. 보증 등급을 토대로 등급별 신뢰 승급이 가능한 보안 정책을 제안하고 주로 사용될 금융서비스의 인증 수단을 강도로 나눈다. 또한, 신뢰 승급의 활용사례를 기술하면서 안정적으로 금융서비스에서 신뢰 승급 기반으로 인증을 사용할 수 있다.
