Fatigue cracks due to thermal stratification or corrosion in pipelines of nuclear power plants can cause serious problems on reactor cooling system. Therefore, the development of an integrated technology including fabrication of standard specimens and their practical usage is needed to enhance the reliability of nondestructive testing. The test material was austenitic STS 304, which is used as pipelines in the Reactor Coolant System of a nuclear power plants. The best condition for fabrication of thermal fatigue cracks at the notch plate was selected using the thermal stress analysis of ANSYS. The specimen was installed from the tensile tester and underwent continuos tension loads of 51,000N. Then, after the specimen was heated to $450^{\circ}C$ for 1 minute using HF induction heater, it was cooled to $20^{\circ}C$ in 1 minute using a mixture of dry ice and water. The initial crack was generated at 17,000 cycles, 560 hours later (1cycle/2min.) and the depth of the thermal fatigue crack reached about 40% of the thickness of the specimen at 22,000 cycles. As a results of optical microscope and SEM analysis, it is confirmed that fabricated thermal fatigue cracks have the same characteristics as real fatigue cracks in nuclear power plants. The crack shape and size were identified.

In order to reduce the cost and weight of the soft-foamed instrument-panel (IP), it was developed the new IP which is made by the two kinds of injection methods. One is the compression-injection with back-foamed foil inserted, and the other is two-shot injection with the passenger airbag door. We named it 'IMX-IP' which means that all components ('X') of the IP with different resins are made in a mold. The development procedure of this technology was introduced (1) Design of the new injection mold through TRIZ method, (2) Optimization of the injection conditions and back foamed-foil for minimizing the foam loss and thickness deviation, (3) Development of CAE for two-shot injection compression, (4) Reliability performance test and application to the mass production. The reduction of the processes through the two-shot injection with back foamed-foil inserted made it possible to enhance soft feeling on IP and reduce the cost and weight simultaneously.

This paper proposed the estimating method of electromagnetic dosimetric reliability at in-vivo and in-vitro experiments. For more accurate consequences of these researches, we have tried to find out any correlations among output power, power density and specific absorption rate(SAR) with the results of in-vivo, in-vitro tests and SAR reports of cellular phone and PDA. In the case of in-vivo tests, the power density has close statistical correlations with SAR value and in the event of in-vitro tests, the output power has considerable statistical correlations with SAR containing duty factor. We analysed the coefficient of determination to estimate the dosimeoic uncertainty. If we use this method before evaluating techniques of measurement and analysis at both in-vivo and in-vitro experiments, we will conduct more accurate reliability test.

To evaluate the vertical loads on railway bridges, conventional load tests are typically conducted. However, these tests often entail significant costs and procedural challenges. Railway conditions involve nearly identical load profiles due to standardized rail systems, which may appear straightforward in terms of load conditions. Nevertheless, this study aims to validate load tests conducted under operational train conditions by comparing the results with those obtained from conventional load tests. Additionally, static and dynamic structural behaviors are extracted from the measurement data for evaluation. To ensure the reliability of load testing, this research demonstrates feasibility through comparisons of existing measurement data with sensor attachment locations, train speeds, responses between different rail lines, tendency analysis, selection of impact coefficients, and analysis of natural frequencies. This study applies to the Dongho Railway Bridge and verifies the applicability of the proposed method. Ten operational trains and 44 sensors were deployed on the bridge to measure deformations and deflections during load test intervals, which were then compared with theoretical values. The analysis results indicate good symmetry and overlap of loads, as well as a favorable comparison between static and dynamic load test results. The maximum measured impact coefficient (0.092) was found to be lower than the theoretical impact coefficient (0.327), and the impact influence from live loads was deemed acceptable. The measured natural frequencies approximated the theoretical values, with an average of 2.393Hz compared to the calculated value of 2.415Hz. Based on these results, this paper demonstrates that for evaluating vertical loads, it is possible to measure deformations and deflections of truss railway bridges through load tests under operational train conditions without traffic control, enabling the calculation of response factors for stress adjustments.
Purpose: By measuring and evaluating the risk of biodiesel through non-volatile residue (NVR) and flash point and explosion limit measurement at a specific temperature according to ASTM test standards, the risk of chemical fire causative substances is identified and a universal evaluation method By derivation and securing the risk-related data of the material, it can be used for the identification and analysis of the cause of the fire, and it can be applied to the risk assessment of other chemical substances Method: In order to measure the risk of biodiesel, it was measured using the non-volatile residue(NVR) measurement method, which measures how much flammable liquid is generated at a specific temperature. Heating was tested by applying KS M 5000: 2009 Test Method 4111. In addition, the flash point was measured using the method specified in ASTM E659-782005, and the energy supply method was measured using the constant temperature method. In addition, the explosion limit measurement was conducted in accordance with ASTM E 681-04 「Standard test method for concentration limits of flammability of chemicals(Vapors and gases)」 test standard. Result: As a result of checking the amount of combustible liquid by the non-volatile residue (NVR)measurement method, the non-volatile residue(NVR) of general diesel when left at 105±2℃ for 3 hours was about 30% (70% of volatile matter) and about 4% of biodiesel. In addition, similar results were obtained for the non-volatile residue(NVR)heating temperature of 150±2℃, 3 hours and 200±2℃ for 1 hour, and white smoke was generated at 200℃ or higher. In addition, similar values were obtained as a result of experimentally checking the explosion (combustion) limits of general diesel, general diesel containing 20% biodiesel, and 100% biodiesel. Therefore, it was confirmed that the flammability risk did not significantly affect the explosion risk. Conclusion: The results of this study suggested the risk judgment criteria for mixtures through experimental research on flammable mixtures for the purpose of securing the effectiveness, reliability, and reproducibility of the details of the criteria for determining dangerous substances in the existing Dangerous Materials Safety Management Act. It will be possible to provide reference data for the judgment criteria for flammable liquids that are regulated in the field. In addition, if the know-how for each test method is accumulated through this study, it is expected that it will be used as basic data in the research on risk assessment of dangerous substances and as a basis for research on the determination of dangerous substances.

T-50 supersonic jet trainer aircraft using digital flight-by-wire flight control system receives aircraft flight conditions such as altitude, VCAS(Calibrated Airspeed) and Angle of Attack from IMFP(Integrated Multi-Function Probe). IMFP sensors information have triplex structure using three IMFP sensors. Air-data selection logic is mid-value selection in three information from three IMFP sensors in order to have more reliability. From supersonic flight test at high altitude, air-data information is dropped simultaneously because of supersonic shock wave effect. This error information may affect to aircraft stability and safety in supersonic area at low altitude. This paper propose that sensitivity analysis and HQS(Handling Quality Simulator) pilot simulation in order to analyze flight stability and controllability in supersonic area at low altitude when these information is applied to flight control law.

The problem in the construction of seawall reinforcing the seawall where there is seawater flow is the outflow of materials. Gravity-type pouring of concrete is difficult to fill the voids smoothly, and the cement of concrete that has not hardened is likely to be dispersed in seawater. This phenomenon not only reduces the reliability of quality after concrete hardening, but can also adversely affect the surrounding environment. Therefore, there is a need for a gel-like injection material that can be injected, In this study, the initial strength and durability improvement effect of seawater immersion were evaluated by using electrofurnace reduction slag and blast furnace slag with acute properties. As a result of the experiment, it was possible to prepare a gel-like injection material having flowability through reaction with silica-based chemical liquid. The flowability of the gel is 105~143 mm depending on the formulation, and the on-site simulation test can fill the voids without external leakage, confirming its on-site applicability.

In this paper, progressive failure analysis is performed on composite joints widely used in various industries such as the aerospace industry. The analysis was conducted on single bolted joints to confirm its reliability and in succession on double-bolted composite joints as well to study the characteristics of progressive failure. Hashin failure criteria and EGDM (energy based gradual degradation model) were used for the analysis. Failure variables are defined by four failure modes, respectively. According to the variables, stiffness degradation has been calculated. As a result of comparing the test and analysis results of single-bolted joints, the error was below 5% and it showed that the analytical results are rather credible. Also, the parametric analysis consequences were obtained conducting the process-progressive failure analysis on the double-bolted composite joints considering edge-distance ratio (e/d ratio) and bolt spacing.
With the development of the information communication industry, the size of the communication device has been reduced to a system that generates a large amount of heat. Therefore, since the amount of heat generated by the wireless equipment is large in the wireless base station, the energy consumption is continuously consumed and the failure of the wireless base station may occur. Therefore, in this study, The study was analyzed. As a research method, we performed base station with a lot of calorific value and electric charge. We selected 25 base stations and obtained data for two weeks. To ensure reliability, the room temperature was kept constant at $27^{\circ}C$, and the control system was installed and equiped for two weeks to obtain the date analysis. In order to calculate the test results in the study method, the instrument was used with a computer, a digital thermometer, and dust measurement. For the date analysis, we conducted a research study on 25 wireless basestations before and after the installation of Control Sysetm.
Aircraft battery is the core equipment of an aircraft that supplies engine starting power and emergency power, and it must be charged to ensure sufficient capacity at all times and maintain high reliability to ensure stable power supply. The battery of the T-50 series aircraft is designed to enable the engine to start up to two times in temperatures as low as -18℃ and above. However, intermittent failures in engine starting have been observed during winter. In this paper, we analyze the failure phenomena occurring during low-temperature charging of the battery and improve the charging algorithm based on the analysis and test. Additionally, the results of start simulation tests show that the battery charging defects at low temperatures are resolved, and an improvement in the charging performance is confirmed; thus, validating the effectiveness of the new algorithm.
