광물질 사료에 대한 인식 및 최근 연구동향

  • 동물영양에 있어 광물질은 동물체의 골격을 구성 할 뿐만 아니라 체액의 삼투압 및 산 엽기 평형상태 조절, 세포막의 투과성 조절, 신경 근육 간 자극전달매개, 각종 효소의 구성 및 활성촉진, 에너지 발생작용 조절 등 매우 중요한 역할을 하는 영양소이다. 체내 기능을 중심으로 한 전통적인 분류방법은 크게 필수 광물질, 준 필수 광물질, 비 필수 광물질 및 중독광물질로 구별하는데, 각각의 광물질은 연구결과에 의해 소속 군이 변화되거나 경계가 불분명해지기도 하나, 대부분 양적인 요구량 측면에서 다량 광물질(칼슘, 인, 나트륨, 염소, 마그네슘, 칼륨 및 황)과 미량광물질(구리, 철, 망간, 몰리브덴, 아연, 크롬, 불소, 셀레늄, 실리콘)로 나뉘어 진다. 최근 이러한 영양생리학적 요구수준과 결부된 분류 외에 약리학적 또는 특수 기능적 측면을 중심으로 일정 광물질에 대한 관심이 확대되고 있으며, 친환경농업과 관련되어 환경에 대한 부담을 최대한 경감시킬 수 있는 광물질 제재의 개발과 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있는 실정이다.

주관적 윤각 인식을 위한 유도 자극 추출 신경망 (A neural network extracting the induced stimuli for the perception of subjective contours)

  • Human observers perceive a contour where no line or edge is given (subject contour), such as the border between gratings of thin lines offset by half a cycle. Subjective contours occur in a wide variety of circumstances in nature. A common factor in all such figures in the perception of a surface(contour) occuluding part of a background, i.e. subject contours are always accompanied by subject surfaces. Some examples about these kinds of figures are given by kanizsa trangle or square. Ph;ysiological observations are reported in which the perceptual phenomenon that some simple examples of subject contours are perceived as images (gigures; contours) through physiological experiments was investgated. In this paper, we proposed a neural network extracting the induce dstimuli for the perception of subject contours based on the visual mechnism. This visual mechnism is proposed by hubel & wiesel's paper.

  • Although painful conditions of varying degrees of severity involving the soft tissues (i .e., muscles, tendons, ligaments, periosteum and peripheral nerves) occur frequently, their underlying pathogenesis is poorly understood. The term peripheral neuropathic pain has recently been suggested to embrace the combination of positive and negative symptoms in patients whose pain is due to pathological changes or dysfunction in peripheral nerves or nerve root. The spinal nerve root, because of its vulnerable position, is very easily prone to injury from pressure, stretch, angulation, and friction. Therefore, not a few of musculoskeletal chronic pains are result of nerve root dysfunction. Neuropathic changes due to nerve root dysfunction are primarily in soft tissue especially muscle, tendon and joint. It shows tenderness over muscle motor points and palpable muscle contracture bands and restricted Joint range. Careful palpation and physical examination is the important tool that, be abne to detect all of these phenomena.

  • opiate receptor들의 중추신경계에서의 분포 및 작용에 관한 실험물은 널리 알려져 있어 그 웅용 방법도 많이 있으나, 말초에 있는 opiate receptor의 존재 및 약물작용을 관찰하는 실험은 별로 알려진 것은 없다. 저자는 214mM의 sucrose 용역을 이용하여 전기적 자극에 따른 말초신경 및 말초조직(근육)에서의 opiate receptor애 대한 작용을 관찰하였다. 실험은 3분류의 약물을 이용하였다. 1) Pure agonists: morphine, meperidine, methadone, 2) Agonist-antagonist: buprenorphine 3) Pure antagonist: naloxone 위의 약물들을 이용하여 excitable cell membrane(좌골신경 및 근육)에서 일어나는 potential의 변화를 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. a. pure agonists들은 좌골신경 및 근육절편에서 action potentials을 의의있게 억제시켰으며 meperidine이 가장 강한 작용을 보였다. b. 이들의 작용은 naloxone 투여로 억제되었다. c. Agonist-antagonist인 buprenorphine은 투여용량 및 동시 투여한 pure agonist의 종류에 따라 biphasic pattern을 나타내었다. d. opiates 작용기전 및 약물작용장소를 알고자 두 종류, 즉 single 및 double technique을 사용하여 비교하였다.

  • Spinal cord stimulation(SCS) was first attempted to relieve intractable pain in 1966. SCS has evolved into percutaneously implanted electrode with aim of activating spinal pain-inhibiting mechanism via dorsal columns. SCS is valuable for the treatment of many painful and difficult to treat conditions such as postamputation pain, painful peripheral neuropathies, chronic sciatic pain and so on. We treated a case of causalgia of the right lower extremity with successful outcome of 90% sustained relief of pain. And patient has satisfied using SCS(Model MNR-94, Neuromed) for 6 months follow-up.

  • Prostaglandins are generated through two isoforms of the enzyme cyclooxygenase, constitutively expressed cyclooxygenase(COX)-1 and COX-2, which is induced at sites of inflammation. Inhibition of COX-2 is desirable as this may avoid side effects seen with NSAIDs. We examined the effects of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation and cold therapy on the levels of muscle cycloooxygenase-2 mRNA in rats of carrageenan-induced inflammatory. The method of behavioral assessment were paw withdrawal latency(PWL) and tail flick test(TFT). The COX-2 mRNA levels were quantified by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Following the transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation and cold therapy, PWL and TFT were increased and COX-2 mRNA expression in gastrocnemius muscles were decreased. These results suggest that a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation and cold therapy were good therapy for a muscle pain.

  • 인터넷 뱅킹, 전자 상거래 등의 도래에 따라 생체 인식이 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 이에 따라 뇌전도(Electro Encephalo Graphy: EEG)로 측정되는 생체 신호를 통하여 기존 생체 인식의 단점을 보완하는 새로운 연구가 시도되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 인간 본인의 얼굴 사진에 특별한 반응을 보인다는 신경 생리학적 지식을 기반으로 한, 새로운 개인 인증 기술을 제안한다. 구체적으로는 뇌 신호 반응 유도를 위한 시각 자극 제시 패러다임의 설계 EEG신호의 특징을 추출을 위한 개인-의존적인 시간 영역 및 채널 선택 및 효율적인 분류기 설계 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법을 이용한 실험 결과는 EEG 기반의 개인 인증 및 인식의 가능성을 제시한다.

  • This research attempts to develop a method to relieve dysmenorrhea, which is an obstacle to many women's social activities, by designing a smartwear with built-in thermotherapy and TENS device. TENS therapy has the advantages of being controlled by patients and not depending on the use of drugs. The TENS device is designed as a stomach band so as to be unnoticeable to others when outer clothes are worn; the size was minimized and attached to underwear to facilitate use everywhere at any time. A current problem is the limitation of minimizing, but as battery technology is further developed, we can anticipate much smaller devices. The development of aforementioned smartwear function will increase women's choices in occupations and general improvement in quality of life.

  • Magnetic nerve stimulation treatment is much backward real condition than other field. Specially, successful medical treatment introduction of magnetic field (MF) can was refered long ago in Avicenna's work, and is thought as age of medicine magnetology development recently. These development is achieved through biologist and biophysicist and clinician's joint effort, but, new mountings and relationship air tassel are developed steadily. Magnetic nerve stimulation treatment field designs treatment system by each function during long wave high-amplitude (traditional magneto therapy of greatly great that strong that) short time that CMF, VMF, PMF field etc. are representative but are HPMT technology in this research and manufacture and special quality did comparative analysis.

만성 후두통을 영구적 후두신경자극기로 치료한 경험 -증례보고- (Permanent Peripheral Nerve Stimulation for Chronic Occipital Neuralgia -Case reports-)

  • This report presents the application of occipital nerve stimulation in two patients with severe and disabling bilateral occipital neuralgia. Pain persisted despite the use of several procedures and the administration of medication in the patients. The patients underwent peripheral nerve stimulation for the treatment of headache. Peripheral nerve stimulation was accomplished via implantation of a subcutaneous electrode to stimulate the peripheral nerve in the occipital area. The patients reported a 90% improvement in overall pain. These cases illustrate the possible utilization of peripheral nerve stimulation for the treatment of occipital neuralgia.
