  • The aim of this study is to investigate the relationships among obesity, eating-out behaviors, and eating habits in the housewives living in Busan and Gyeongnam Province. In order to analyze the data obtained from 249 housewives, SPSS statistical program 17.0 was used. Also, frequency, factors, $x^2$-test, and cluster analyses were conducted as well as one-way ANOVA analysis. The results of the analyses have shown that their average height was 160.75 cm, and their average weight was 57.51 kg. Their BMI was investigated resulting in normal weight being 56.6%, overweight and obesity 37.0%. Concerning the number of eating out opportunities a month, 65.5% said under four times. Their per capita cost of eating out was between 7001 Won and 11,000 Won, being 34.9%. The purpose of eating out was family occasions being 44.2%. Those who were accompanied by them were their family members. and relatives being 63.8%. Their favorite restaurants were public restaurants being 47.8%. It was investigated that they got the information about eating-out through their acquaintances being 79.1%. According to the results of the cluster analysis by the factor of their eating habits, Cluster 1 was named as Intermediate Eating Habits group, Cluster 2 as Not Good Eating Habits group, and Ouster 3 as Good Eating Habits group. There were significant difference (P<0.01) in the difference analysis between the three clusters and the eating habits factor. This study showed that 37% of housewives in the Busan and Gyeongnam area were classified as overweight and obese and needed to change their eating behavior. The reason why obesity in the age group of those over 51 was higher than those under 30 was their going through menopause.

  • Recently, we have been able to quickly order and pay with kiosks even at fast food restaurants, small private restaurants and cafes. However, people with disabilities who are uncomfortable with their arms and who are sitting in wheelchairs are difficult to use by pressing graphical buttons to use kiosks. Older people also feel uncomfortable to use kiosks because of their cognitive abilities to accept new information as they get older. In this paper, to solve this problem, we design and implement a order-payment system to add the voice command element of the AI speaker to the visual command element when the user interacts with the kiosk.

  • The 1-serving lunchbox app is designed and developed for enabling consumers to order their lunch box by choosing their own lunch side dishes. In modern society, one-person households are growing in larger areas. It is too burdensome to handle alone because it is cumbersome to cook alone and you should order from two people in a restaurant shop. To resolve such inconveniences, it is an app to choose various detailed menus and order personalized lunches. In the process of selecting a detailed menu, information provided by big data is used. You can use the existing order through the bookmark function, or you can use the recommended lunch menu using big data.

  • Recently, as competition in the food industry intensifies, restaurants offering unusual foods are increasing. However, the information provided by the menu is limited to the ingredients and prices of the foods, which does not help the guests choose the menu. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a food menu guidance system using augmented reality technology. The proposed system combines augmented reality technology and video content to provide information about food on the menu as a video. Therefore, it provides more realistic and vibrant images than the existing menu board provides food information in a simple image format. In addition, the proposed system is expected to be applied to tourist attractions, museums and galleries as a new type of guidance system beyond the limitations of text and image-oriented brochures.

  • This paper propose a dormitory management system based on 13.56MHz RFID system. The proposed dormitory management system consists of three parts, the RFID hardware system the middleware, and the application. RFID hardware system uses 13.56MHz frequency which is suitable for a close range. The middleware is implemented to accept the RFID hardware system values using RS-232c communication method and forward the values to the application. The application is designed to make the DB using the forwarded values, and works based on the DB. The efficacy of the proposed dormitory management system is verified by means of experiments. In the experiments, we set up the system to the dormitory of Daeduk College to show the improvement results of proposed system.

  • This thesis enhanced the degree of utilization of smart phone through carrying out the application/app. which search and visit matjip (reputable restaurant) at the travel sites using smart phones. When we search matjip (reputable restaurant) using materialized application, we can select the best matjip (reputable restaurant) we want. Especially, this application evaluates individual restaurants through the level of utilization and satisfaction by consumer including appropriate menus, the style and design of the restaurant, reasonableness of prices, service of restaurant employees and sanitation management by region and registered the information input to DB in advance while classifying based on the evaluation scores to keep track for individual tastes. And individuals can record their personal memories to input columns. On top of that, information field for transportation is also designed to enhance the accessibility during travel, and in the future the application can be further utilized through the expansion of the DB through the input of famous tour sites and acquaintance's house information.

  • For supporting LBS service, recent studies on spatial network databases (SNDB) have been done actively. In order to gain good performance on query processing in SNDB, we, in this paper. design efficient storage and index structures for spatial network data, point of interests (POIs), and moving objects on spatial networks. First, we design a spatial network file organization for maintaining the spatial network data itself consisting of both node and edges. Secondly, we design a POI storage and index structure which is used for gaining fast accesses to POIs, like restaurant, hotel, and gas station. Thirdly, we design a signature-based storage and index structure for efficiently maintaining past, current, and expected future trajectory information of moving objects. Finally, we show that the storage and index structures designed in this paper outperform the existing storage structures for spatial networks as well as the conventional trajectory index structures for moving objects.

  • In this paper, we propose and test the efficacy of an easy-to-use user location certification system for public places that relies on frequencies outside the audible range for humans. The inaudible frequencies come in signal frequency between 18-20 kHz and are generated by general audio speaker. After an individual's smart device detects the signal frequency, it sends the frequency value, user's personal ID, and user's location to a system server that certifies the user's visit location currently. The system server then saves a user visit record and categorizes it by individual. To show the usefulness of this proposed system, we developed a user visit certification application for smart devices linked to a system server. We then conducted a user visit certification experiment using the proposed system, with the result showing 99.6% accuracy. For a comparison, we then held a user visit certification experiment using a QR code, which confirmed that our proposed system performs better than QR code location certification. This proposed system can thus provide restaurants and other facilities reliable user contact tracing and electronic visitor access lists in the age of COVID-19.

  • Point of interest (POI) of the city is a special place that has what importance to the user. For example, it is such landmark, restaurants, museums, hotels, and theaters. Because of its role in the social and economic life of us, these have attracted a lot of interest in location-based applications such as social networks and online map. However, while it can easily be obtained through the Web, the basic information of POI such as geographic location, another effort is required to obtain detailed information such as Wi-Fi, accepting credit cards, opening hours, romper room and the assessment and evaluation of other users. To solve these problems, a new method for correcting position error is required to link location-based social network service (LBSNS) data and POIs. This paper attempts to propose a position error correction method of POI and LBSNS data to enrich POI information from the vast information that is accumulated in LBSNS. Through this study, we can overcome the limitation of individual POI information via the information fusion method of LBSNS and POI, and we have discovered the possibility to be able to provide additional information which users need. As a result, we expect to be able to collect a variety of POI information quickly.

  • Software architecture is the high level model of a software system. It should be specified with ADLs (Architecture Description Languages) for its clarity and preciseness. Most ADLs such as C2SADL have not come into extensive use in industries since ADL users should learn a distinct notation specific to architecture, and ADLs do not address all stakes of the development process that is becoming diversified everyday. On the other hand, UML is a do facto standard general modeling language for software developments. UML provides a consistent notation and various supporting tools during the whole software development cycle. But, UML is a general modeling language and does not provide all concepts that are important to architecture description. UML should be extended in order to precisely model architecture. In this paper, we defined a C2 architecture modeling language as a UML2.0 profile. We applied the defined C2 architecture modeling language to the modeling of a restaurant reservation system.
