The Non-fiction Participants in the Reality Observational Entertainment Program as Social Actors: Focusing on Youn's Kitchen Season 2 (사회적 배우로서의 리얼리티 관찰 예능 프로그램의 일반인 참여자: <윤식당2>를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to regard the non-fiction participants in the reality observational entertainment program as social actors. For this, the study has examined the concepts of social actor and performance, understood how the performances of social actors are projected onto the screen, and textually analyzed Youn's Kitchen season 2. As a result, the non-fiction participants(the guests) of Youn's Kitchen functioned as the social actors who performed the roles derived from their social relations under the consciousness of the camera. The more the number of social actors in the observational space increased, the more the number of their performing roles grew. Their everyday activities have been chosen by various filmic devices, such as the cameras, within the specific frame of hybrid performance mode that representational and presentational performances coexist.

  • Most primary and secondary schools in Korea provide school meals to students. After the implementation of the manual in the development of foodservice facilities within schools in the Seoul metropolitan area, this study had been instituted towards the improvement on the design of the school. Through the investigation of the use of school foodservice facilities and the establishment of putting the designer's design to the users into effect, primary and secondary schools have been observed in the study to conclude the following research: Spatial Configuration and Usage Characteristics within Elementary, Middle, and High school.

  • 본 논문에서는 만성질환자의 외출 활동 시 혈압 혈당 조절을 위한 식단 칼로리, 염분, 운동 등의 지속적인 자가 건강관리를 위해서 병원, 식당, 운동센터 등의 다양한 공간에서 만성질환자의 PHR 정보를 기반으로 하는 공간정보를 활용한 맞춤형 서비스 시스템을 설계하고 시스템에서 사용되는 PHR 정보 교환을 위한 질환 및 개인정보 메시지 구조를 정의하였다.

The Application Tendency of Western Classic Style Appeared to Residencial Space Interior Composition Elements (주거공간 실내구성요소에 나타난 서양 고전양식의 적용경향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the application tendency about the interior elements of the western classical style which appears in Korean residential space. The examined objects were 324 pictures of 99 residential spaces from the different monthly magazines between Sep.1994 to Sep.1999. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The tendency of application according to the kind of space, it has appeared much in Iivingroom, master bedroom and dining room of apartments and houses. As for the single application in residential space, Rococo and Neo-Classic style was shown most, and the cases applied through the mixture of Renaissance style and Nee-classic style appeared most. 2. The tendency of application arroding to the interior elements of space, the wall of Nee-Classic style and the ceiling of Renaissance style, the window and door of Nee-classic style, and the furniture of Rococo style were being applied much.

Pollutant Source Database and Water Quality Managemen Ecosystem Model for Juam Reservoir Watershed Using GIS (GIS를 응용한 주암 상수원수계의 오염원 DB 구축과 수질관리 생태계모형)

  • 주암호는 전라남도와 광주광역시에 약 1,180,000톤/일의 생활용수와 공업용수를 공급하는 상수원이다. 상수원수계의 생활하수, 축산폐수, 숙박업소, 식당 등 점오염원과 주거지, 농경지, 산림지역에서 우수와 함께 유출되는 비점오염원으로부터 발생하는 오염부하량으로 이들 상수원의 수질은 점점 악화되어 3급수로 전락할 우려가 높아지고 있다. 이들 상수원의 수질관리에 있어 중요한 인자의 파악과 인자들간 상호작용의 이해를 용이하게 해주는 수계수질관리 부분생태계모형을 제시하였으며 지리정보체계를 응용하여 수계의 점오염원과 비점오염원을 데이터베이스화하는 방법, 오염부하량 산출방법, 점원 및 비점오염원의 공간분석, 상수원 보호구역으로부터 완충구역분석, 위성자료 분석을통한 상수원 수계 토지이용분석과 비점오염원 부하량산출 응용 방법등을 연구하였다 분석결과 주암호수계의 BOD 부하량은 주거지. 생활하수, 축산폐수, 경작지, 식당이 차지하는 비율이 높으며 총질소 부하량은 경작지, 산림, 생활하수, 추간폐수가 높으며 그리고 총인 부하량은 생활하수, 축산폐수, 경작지가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 점오염원인 생활하수, 축산폐수, 식당 뿐만 아니라 비점오염원인 경작지도 수질오염에 상당한 영향을 미치고 있다.

  • The study analyzed behaviors of users in cafeterias and spatial environmental images as well to understand what factors would affect the users' satisfaction in the cafeterias. The study also looked into how interior space factors would influence the users, what the users actually want from the cafeterias when they use them and lastly, what kinds of behaviors the users would do while in the cafeteria. Through those researches, the study proposed solutions to improve the users' satisfaction in cafeterias. As a field survey research, the study observed actual conditions of cafeterias at a university as conducting spatial environmental analysis to present ways to improve students' satisfaction in cafeterias at their university. In order to achieve the research goal, the study carried out a literature analysis and a survey and visited the cafeterias to understand both actual conditions and environments of cafeterias at a university. The study also had in-depth interviews with the students. The subject of the study was those college students who have been using four cafeterias at three campuses of D university. Data was collected via surveys, observations and interviews. With the students as the research subject, the study investigated and analyzed current status of the students' using of the cafeterias, actual utilization, spatial factors and satisfaction factors. The study was mainly developed with a survey conducted and by distributing basically 200 copies of the survey each to the campuses, the study gave out 200 copies each to Suseong Campus in Daegu and Oseong Campus in Gyeongsan but 400 copies at a time to Samsung Campus in Gyeongsan because it was the main campus and had two cafeterias. To sum up, each department was instructed to answer 20~40 copies of the survey in the end. Out of 800 copies in total, 188 copies from Oseong Campus, 153 copies from Suseong Campus and 386 copies from Samsung Campus which would add up to 727 were observed to be faithful enough to be used as statistics for the study.

A Study on the Space Planing for Restaurant Kitchens to Improve Hygiene (식당 주방의 위생 향상을 위한 공간계획에 관한 연구)

  • This research proposed the space planing methode and diagrams of restaurant kitchens to improve hygiene by analyzing the related contents collected from books and researches in interior design and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point). HACCP is an effective and scientific hygiene system for food safety in order to prevent cross-contamination from food hazards. Based on the analyses, improvement of food production environments like restaurant kitchens is necessary for food hygiene. The space planing methode of restaurant kitchens to improve hygiene are followings: The circulation planing is that the direction of movement of the food, workers, waste, and dishes should be fractionated and managed for cross-contamination prevention. The space separation planing is that the spaces in the kitchen should be classified and divided into contaminated area and non-contaminated and clean area depending on the degree of cleanliness. The zoning is space arrangement with feed-back process to check the possible points of cross-contamination and correct space arrangement until the possibility of cross-contamination disappear in kitchen. However, if cross-contamination is unavoidable in some points in restaurant kitchens, hygiene facilities such as washing rooms, pass rooms, and double doors with air-shower should be located in order to remove contamination.

A Research on the Improvement of Dining Space Design at Elderly Welfare Facility (복지관의 경로식당 공간 디자인의 개선 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose : Balanced meal service is very important for the elderly to maintain good physical health. Good food and comfortable dining environment is also important for the elderly to prevent emotional depression. The purpose of this study is to investigate current problems of dining space in Korean elderly welfare facility. De-institutionalizing dining environment of elderly welfare facility will bring more meaningful social interactions among elderly users. Methods : Through literature research and case studies of welfare centers in the US and Japan, Elderly Dining Space Checklist was developed. Dining spaces of 11 welfare facilities in Seoul was analyzed by this checklist. It was administered by interior designers as well as facility staffs to achieve more credible results. Questionnaire for the elderly users of those dining space also prosecuted to broaden knowledge for creating improved environment. Results : Dining spaces of elderly welfare centers are lack of privacy and furnitures are not comfortable enough for the general users as well as wheelchair users. Elderly dining space users are seeking more private and comfortable spaces for the social communications. Implications : Dining environment for the elderly in Korea should develop more de-institutionalized design concepts.
