The Study on Structural Strength Test Technique for Cylindrical Supersonic Vehicle Subjected to Severe Heating Environment (원통형 초음속 비행체 내열구조시험 기법 연구)

  • This paper describes the structural strength test technique and the results for cylindrical supersonic vehicle subjected to both aerodynamic load and thermal load. The special positioning system using spring links was designed to float, support and restrain the test airframe during the test and the down-time. The hydraulic system and the electric heating system were utilized to apply the aerodynamic load and the thermal load to the test airframe together. Particularly, several hundreds of infrared quartz lamps were used for the heating system, and the thermal test conditions were successfully simulated. The test results showed that this kind of high temperature test is adequate to verify the structure integrity and produce useful engineering data which is necessary for the possible structural modification under thermal environments.

  • This research is aiming to develop Semiconductor equipment maintenance certification course to train qualified maintenance experts more effectively requested in related semiconductor industry. In the course of research, we adopted diverse research technique such as interview, on-spot investigation, documentary references to analyze current status of related training facilities, and forecast the population of test applicants. We analyzed similar certification course(Craftsman SMT, Industrial Engineer SMT, Craftsman Mechatronics, Industrial Enginee Mechatronics, et) as reference to set up job objectives and curriculum of semiconductor equipment maintenance certification. We conducted survey on expectations on newly created certificate, presented evaluation standard and objective of test, and preliminary writing test and demonstration test. Based on the result of various research, we were able to present training program for semiconductor equipment maintenance certification and set the assessment standard of qualification exam.

  • 변전자동화시스템이 IEC 61850 규격도입 이후 통신에 대한 적합성 시험과 함께 보호계전기의 보호 및 제어기능에 대한 시험도 통신과 결부되어 자동화하려는 추세에 있다. 기존에 변전소에 적용된 디지털 보호계전기는 IEC 61850 통신서비스와 접목되어 IED(Intelligent Electronic Device)로 불려진다. 기존의 보호계전기와 달리 IED의 경우 변전자동화시스템으로 통합구현되기 때문에 IED 단위시험 보다는 시스템 수준의 성능시험을 요구하게 된다. 따라서 CMC 256 전용프로그램을 가지고는 변전자동화시스템의 성능시험을 완벽하게 다루게 어렵게 때문에 사용자가 CMC 256 장비를 자유롭게 다룰 수 있는 환경개발을 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 CMC 256 장비의 운용을 사용자 정의로 구현할 수 있는 CM Engine을 소개하고 실제 구현사례를 통해 변전자동화시스템의 성능시험을 위한 기반 자료를 다루고자 한다.

  • 최근 해양분야는 e-Navigation 전략 시행을 앞두고 새로운 장비 및 시스템이 개발되고 있으며 이러한 장비 및 시스템은 소프트웨어의 의존도가 높다. 이에 따라 소프트웨어 품질에 관한 연구가 활발하게 진행중이다. 중소조선연구원에서는 이에 대한 대응으로 해양 임베디드 소프트웨어의 시험절차를 개발하고 있다. 해양 임베디드 응용 소프트웨어 시험절차는 시험절차 뿐만 아니라 절차수행에 필요한 산출물 정보를 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 해양 임베디드 응용 소프트웨어 시험절차와 시험절차 적용사례를 소개한다.

  • 위성체가 임무를 수행하는 우주환경은 지상 환경과 달리 고진공, 고온 및 극저온의 가혹한 환경 이다. 이에 $10^{-5}$ Torr 이하의 고진공과 $-180^{\circ}C$ 이하의 극저온 및 고온의 환경조건을 지상에서 모사하기 위해서는 열진공챔버와 같은 우주환경모사장비가 사용된다. 위성체를 열진공챔버에 설치하고 우주환경모사 시험의 월할한 진행을 위하여 열진공챔버 내 레일을 설치하여 열진공시험 준비 및 열진공시험이 수행되어진다. 현재 위성체 연구개발의 발전으로 다양한 기능 및 장비의 추가로 인하여 위성체가 대형화 되어지고 있다. 이에 보다 안전한 시험 준비 및 수행을 위하여 현재 운용되어지고 있는 열진공챔버의 개선이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 상용유한요소해석 프로그램 MSC.PATRAN/NASTRAN을 사용하여 대형 위성체의 우주환경모사 시험을 위한 열진공챔버 내 레일에 대한 구조 안선성을 평가 하고자 한다.

  • Deep-sea equipment such as underwater robots and unmanned submersible vehicles, include various machine components and sensors, and it is important that their reliabilities be tested before use in the fields. This is necessary because they are affected by complex extreme-environment conditions, such as high pressures, extreme temperatures, and tidal forces that are present in the deep sea. We require test equipment that can conduct empirical tests in conditions that mimic these complex oceanic environments. In this study, we propose specifications that should be met, and a design plan for the primary components, which should limit their use to a maximum water pressure of 2.0 MPa, water temperature of $5{\sim}60^{\circ}C$, and a maximum flow velocity of 2 m/s. in work-in type underwater combined environment test equipment and. We present test system development procedures to verify the reliability of products and systems used in deep-sea environments.

Development and Verification of Large Triaxial Testing System for Dynamic Properties of Granular Materials (조립재료 동적물성 산정을 위한 대형삼축압축시험장비 구축 및 검증)

  • Coarse granular material is used as important fill material in most of large embankments such as railway, road, dam and so on. Therefore, the accurate design parameters of the coarse granular material are necessarily required in design and construction. The behavior of the coarse granular material was not well understood because of the lack of large testing equipment capable of coarse granular material. A large triaxial testing system was developed in this research, capable of large specimens of 500 mm, 300 mm and 150 mm in diameter. In the new large triaxial testing system, the load cell is installed inside the triaxial cell and axial displacement is measured locally on a specimen in order to improve control and measurement in small strain level. Urethane specimens of 300 mm and 50 mm in diameter were prepared. The large triaxial tests were performed on the 300 mm diameter urethane specimens while RC/TS and impact echo tests on the 50 mm diameter urethane specimens to verify this testing system. In this verification test results, we could ascertain the reasonable test results of the KRRI large triaxial testing system.

  • The performance test methodology for switch, router or integrated networks that make up the wired network is not clearly defined. Due to smart phones and multimedia traffic, the speed of the network is rapidly increasing to 100Gbps. However, there is no formalized test method, and performance test related parts are still being tested based on old data. Telecommunication companies and companies are testing their requirements in their own BMT, and government or public institutions are requesting performance tests from external organizations. As the demand for the performance test of next generation network equipments and the integrated network increases, analysis of the performance test method should be done as soon as possible. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the performance test method performed by the institute and propose guidelines that can be applied to all wired network equipment.

Effect of Aspect Ratio in Direct Tensile Strength of Concrete (콘크리트 직접인장강도의 세장비 효과)

  • Although concrete members are not normally designed to resist direct tension, the knowledge of tensile strength is of value in estimating the cracking load. In general, there are three types of test method for tensile strength ; direct tension test, flexural tension test, and splitting tension test. Though direct tensile strength represents the real tensile strength of concrete, direct tension tests are seldom carried out, mainly because it is very difficult to applicate a pure tension force. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the test methods, effect of aspect ratio, and the size effect on the direct tensile strength. Direct tension test, using bonded end plates, follows RILEM and U.S.Bureau of Reclamation. And other test methods follow ASTM provisions. Four kinds of aspect ratio and two kinds of size effect are tested. Same variables are tested by direct tension test and splitting tension test for comparison between the two test methods. Test results show that direct tensile strength of concrete is more affected by aspect ratio and size than other kinds of strength.

  • The compact tracking radar system is a pulsed radar tracking system that searches, detects, and tracks targets in real time against aircraft targets with a small RCS(Radar Cross Section) maneuvering at high speed. This paper describes the development of comprehensive performance test equipment to verify the performance of the radar system in a anechoic chamber environment. Describes the design and manufacture of comprehensive performance test equipment to meet requirements, including the generation of simulated target signals to simulate aircraft target signals to verify performance in the laboratory environment of radar systems. It also describes a GUI(Graphic User Interface) program to check performance through a test in conjunction with the tracking radar system. Verify the comprehensive performance test equipment implemented through the performance test.
