Study on Flight Test Safety Management Operations and Processes (국내 비행종합시험을 위한 비행시험 및 안전관리 운영·절차에 관한 연구)

  • As demand for best practices relative to flight test safety management operations and processes in the aviation industry grows, standards for such aspects of the industry in Korea should be examined. Therefore, in this paper, we conducted flight test operation processes and safety management program development studies based on documents related to flight tests of the Korean civil aviation KC-100, the military aircraft T-50, the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), and CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) for performance validation, test evaluation and safety certification for aircraft under development and remodeling. In addition, we introduced and analyzed best practices of the FTSC (Flight Test Safety Committee) applicable to aircraft flight test processes.

Pattern Analysis of Nonconforming Farmers in Residual Pesticides using Exploratory Data Analysis and Association Rule Analysis (탐색적 자료 분석 및 연관규칙 분석을 활용한 잔류농약 부적합 농업인 유형 분석)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analysis pattern of nonconforming farmers who is one of the factors of unconformity in residual pesticides. Methods: Pattern analysis of nonconforming farmers were analyzed through convergence of safety data and farmer's DB data. Exploratory data analysis and association rule analysis were used for extracting factors related to unconformity. Results: The results of this study are as follows; regarding the exploratory data analysis, it was found that factors of farmers influencing unconformity in residual pesticides by total 9 factors; sampling time, gender, age, cultivation region, farming career, agricultural start form, type of agriculture, cultivation area, classification of agricultural products. Regarding the association rule analysis, non-conformity association rules were found over the past three years. There was a difference in the pattern of nonconforming farmers depending on the cultivation period. Conclusion: Exploratory data analysis and association rule analysis will be useful tools to establish more efficient and economical safety management plan for agricultural products.

  • One of the most important part in next generation VoIP is security management. When we develop a protocol stack based on SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), it is necessary to develop test scenario, test environment, adaptation test technology for security test of the system. In this paper, we design and implement security test environment and test program for SIP. This system also can be used as a fundamental system when someone develop a communication system based on SIP.

The Actual Management State of Trial Contact Lenses and Lens Care Products in Local Optical Shops (안경원의 시험착용 콘택트렌즈 및 관리용품 관리 실태)

  • Purpose: In the present study, the actual management state of trial contact lenses and lens care products in local optical shops was surveyed and analyzed to reduce the risk of lens complication possibly induced by neglecting lens care. Methods: The feeling of contact lens wearers during the wear of trial contact lenses was surveyed. Futhermore, the actual management state of trial contact lenses such as cosmetic lens and RGP lens and lens care products was also investigated by surveying opticians who trade contact lenses in local optical shops. Results: It was found that consumers trusted the sanitary conditions of the lens since trial cosmetic contact lens and RGP lens were cleaned before and after trails by over 98% of opticians in local optical shops. For trial cosmetic lens, cleaning with normal saline, multipurpose solution for soft lens and combination of saline and multipurpose solution were 38.5%, 40.5% and 21%, respectively, before trials. After trials, cosmetic lenses were cleaned with normal saline, multipurpose solution for soft lens and a combination of saline and multipurpose solution were 13%, 75%, and 12%, respectively. On the other hand, cleaning with normal saline, multipurpose solution for RGP lens and combination of saline and multipurpose solution were 28.5%, 38.5% and 33%, respectively, before trying trial RGP lens. After trials, RGP lenses were cleaned with normal saline, multipurpose solution for RGP lens and a combination of saline and multipurpose solution were 2.5%, 70%, and 27.5%, respectively, indicating that relatively many opticians followed the lens cleaning regimen. In local optical shops, the cleaning trial cosmetic lens was mainly conducted at every 10 days or a month and the washing cycle of cosmetic lens case was in a month or 2~3 months. The cleaning interval of trial RGP lens was primarily in a month or 2~3 months. For those lens cases, more than 75% of opticians washed them with a surfactant and then rinsed with cold water. The storing periods of lens care products were primarily in a week for saline and in a month and 2~3 months indicating that storing period of lens care products was relatively well-kept in local optical shops. Conclusions: It is thought that the concern about any microbial infection is not that high since trial contact lenses and lens care products were generally well-managed by opticians in local optical shops from the results above. However, better public eye health and better public confidence in opticians may be possible if further strengthen in avoidance of lens cleaning with saline, keep of cleaning cycles within 2 weeks and rinsing of lens cases with hot water happens.

Implementation of Receiver Conformance Test Environments for HTML5 based Smart TV Platform (HTML5 기반 스마트 TV 플랫폼 표준에 대한 수신기 적합성 시험환경의 구현)

  • 본 논문은 TTA 에서 제정된 "HTML5 기반 스마트 TV 플랫폼" 표준(TTAK.KO-07.0111/R1)에 따라 개발된 스마트 TV 수신기가 표준의 기술 요구사항을 준수하여 적합하게 구현되었는지를 검증하기 위한 표준 적합성 시험환경을 소개한다. 적합성 시험을 위한 시험 기준과 수행절차, 판정 기준 등을 정의하고 있는 "HTML5 기반 스마트 TV 플랫폼 수신기 적합성 시험" 표준(TTAK.KO-07.0119)에 따라 200 여개의 테스트 케이스가 개발되었으며 이들은 스마트 TV 수신기에서 직접 동작하면서 수신기의 기능을 검증하고 결과를 판단하게 된다. 테스트 케이스를 실제 방송환경과 유사한 조건에서 실행하기 위하여 지상파, 케이블, IPTV, 위성 등 다양한 방송 헤드앤드를 활용한 방송 송출 서버를 구현하였으며, 시험에 관련된 정보를 처리하고 실제 시험의 수행 및 그 결과를 관리하는 적합성 시험 관리 시스템을 개발하였다. 그리고 테스트 케이스 앱을 호스팅하는 웹서버, VOD 콘텐츠를 위한 스트리밍 서버 등의 장비를 운용하여 적합성 시험을 위한 전반적인 환경을 구축하였다. 또한 본 논문에서는 구축된 시험 환경에서 표준 기반으로 개발된 참조 수신기를 대상으로 적합성 시험을 수행한 사례를 통해 시험환경의 유효성을 확인하고 향후 적합성 시험환경의 추진 방향을 제시한다.

  • 수중에서 획득되는 대용량 데이터를 영구 보존하고 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 데이터베이스 시스템을 설계하고 구현하기 위해서는 대용량 데이터 관리, 다양한 저장장치 관리, 효율적 검색 기능, 융통성있는 데이터 타입 지원 등을 고려하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 해상에서 획득되는 대용량 시험자료를 효율적으로 관리하기 위해 개발된 수주음향 데이터베이스 시스템에 대해서 논한다. 구축된 시스템은 각 시험별로 획득한 원시자료와 다양한 분석기법을 통하여 추출한 분석자료를 저장, 관리, 제공할 목적으로 개발되었으며, 속도를 고려한 효율적 저장방법, 보안 시험별 검색단어 변경 문제 및 분석자료의 다양한 그래픽 제공 등을 고려하여 대용량 CD-쥬크박스를 가진 유닉스 기반의 클라이언트/서버 환경에서 구현하였다.

  • Fault management design of the satellite describes preparations for failures which can occur during operational phase. Fault management design contains detection and isolation function of anomaly, and also it contains function to maintain the satellite in safe condition until the ground station finds out a cause of failure and takes a countermeasure. Unlike normal operation, safing operation is automatically performed by Power Control and Distribution Unit and Integrated Bus Management Unit which loads Flight Software without intervention of ground station. Since fault management operation is automatical, fault management logic and functionality of relevant hardware should be thoroughly checked during ground test phase, and error which is similar to actual should be carefully applied without damage. Verification test for fault management design is conducted for various subsystems of satellite. In this paper, we show the design process of fault management design verification test for Electrical Power Subsystem and Attitude and Orbit Control Subsystem of Low Earth Orbit satellite flight model and the test results.
