The field application through the quality control of self adhesive rubberized asphalt waterproofing sheet was regulated by KS F 4934 of Korea Standard in 2003. However, regulations that different material properties of self-Adhesive waterproofing sheets are difficult on the standard. Therefore, this research was performed for of quality control all affiliations of self-adhesive waterproofing sheet through basic properties test and proposed quality standard revised bill in KS F 4934.

Because Self-Adhesive Waterproofing sheet has good constructability, it has been widely used. Also Self-Adhesive Waterproofing sheet is researched based on variety of materials and various of forms. However, producers have recognized about only pass KS quality standard. So, Self-Adhesive waterproofing sheet has been limited about improvement of performance. Therefore, in this research, proposed guideline of Self-Adhesive Waterproofing sheet for disinterested performance grade using probability theory and quality management theory.

A heat and room temperature construction method of asphalt have been mainly applying to rooftop waterproofing in concrete structure, and the rest construction method are sheet, membrane and mortar waterproofing construction method. In particular, joint method in sheet waterproof method is as overlap joint which on being reinforced with fiber and tape, have been applying for job site to mechanical fix using protection disk and anchorage and metal ironwork on the end of sheet. These construction method cause cutting off joint of sheet as behavior of structure according to repairs of sheet itself and thermal conduct, outdoor air environment. In conclusion, we analyzed and examined the application of various sheets and piece ashes about superior 'I' joint which divide from one and the other sheet and progressed about joint construction method of fixing method for overlap.

This paper aims to develop the diffused reflection material in order to reduce the solar absorption coefficient, and to compare the thermal properties with the different roof structure system; one is using the diffused reflection material applied the upper side of the rigid sheet waterproof system and the other is using the conventional up-side down waterproof system on the roof. For this purpose two experimental test boxes were made of same iso-panel wall and floor with different roof system. The experiment was carried out under these process; measure the surface temperature exposed solar radiation of the variation of the reflection materials(cement paste, silica, galvanized steel and titanium dioxide(TiO2)), measure and analyze the variation of the temperature distribution of the each roof system and indoor air in order to evaluate the thermal properties according to the different roof system. The result shows clearly that using the titanium dioxide(TiO2) might be more effective to reduce the solar insolation.

This study is for the isolated water-Proofing method using Poly-ethylene sheet in the underground water tank which is not affected by construction environments such as wet, low temperature and surface condition. The special features of this water-proofing method are that the construction and management control are very easier and more effective than the existing construction method.

It has been applied the self adhesion waterproofing sheet which is developed from exist asphalt waterproofing sheet by heat and torch in domestic construction field. However, the problem of waterproofing have constantly happened due to air pocket condition and defect of joint part in waterproofing construction. Therefore, in this study, we would like to analyze the field application as testing in side of materials and construction method of self adhesion butyl rubber sheet and study of the materials performance.

This study discusses the development of asphalt based waterproofing sheet applied on the blind side of the concrete substrate. The inorganic coating membrane is applied on top of the waterproofing sheet surface for protection, and adhesive bond to the concrete substrate surface is secured via hydration reaction the cement. The study reveals the experimental results of the overlap section tensile strength to observe the effects of the adhesion strength of this material.

In order to solve problems such as scattered dust, dust and chemicals harmful to the human body, workability in a confined space, quality performance, and the like generated during the field construction of the conventional waterproof sheet construction method, a waterproof sheet is used as a PC formwork, Which is produced by pouring concrete after PC installation, and evaluating the applicability of the development method in comparison with the construction method of polypropylene waterproof sheet construction method and the construction period, safety, quality, construction cost.

The water proofing sheet of synthetic polymer applies to the purification plant, the wastewater treatment center, the low waterway, the dosing tanks, etc, and when we construct these, we apply the dual waterproof by means of hot air staking welder or extruder. However, the experts skilled in the hot air welding or extruder does not use them, it can be a quality problem. Therefore, in this study, it is the purpose to verify whether the semi-automatic hot air staking welder and automatic extruder that can construct the waterproof sheet is possible in field even if it is not a professional specialist.
