Execution Case Study on the Explosive Demolition of a Large-Section RC Special Structure (대단면 철근콘크리트 특수구조물 발파해체 시공 사례)

  • Recently, the number of industrial structures that must be demolished due to structural deterioration and unsatisfactory functional conditions has been increased. To minimize environmental hazardous factors created during the process of demolition, the explosive demolition method has been applied increasingly. This execution case was intended to describe an application of the explosive demolition method to the demolition of a Crusher & Screen structure, which was a large-section reinforced concrete special structure. It was deemed necessary due to its structural deterioration and unsatisfactory functional condition. Various pre-weakening processes and blasting patterns were applied to the large-section reinforced concrete members, and to reduce blasting vibration and impact vibration, time intervals were established for blasting in the same column and for blasting between blasting blocks. By applying the explosive demolition method to the demolition of a large-section reinforced concrete special structure, the explosive demolition was completed safely and efficiently, without causing any damage to surrounding facilities.

  • 최근, 핸드폰은 일상생활의 필수품이 되었다. 특히 카메라가 장착된 핸드폰은 개인홍보와 오락요소로의 대표적인 도구로 사용된다. 나아가 양안카메라가 적용된 핸드폰은 사용자에게 입체감을 전달할 것이며, 입체감은 보다 효과적인 개인홍보 및 오락성을 제공할 것이다. 핸드폰은 휴대가 용이하지만 제한된 표시소자의 크기 및 해상도로 인하여 입체시 구현 시 사용자에게 손실된 정보 및 낮은 임장감을 제공한다. 이에 본 연구는 기존의 입체시 구현에 대한 구속조건들을 분석하고 핵심 요인을 산출하여, 핸드폰 환경에서의 최적의 입체시 구현을 위한 새로운 구속조건의 범위를 정량화하였다. 대표적인 구속조건으로는 수평, 수직 시차량이 고려되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 핸드폰용 양안카메라의 제작공차 및 효과적인 시차영상 제작을 위한 기준을 제시한다. 연구에 사용된 제품으로는 QVGA해상도(320*240) 및 2.8' 크기의 표시소자인 PDA폰이며, 입체시에 대한 구속조건을 정량화하기 위하여 수직, 수평이동이 가능한 지그를 사용하여 실험의 정확성을 높였다. 피실험자는 10명이며 남자 7명, 여자 3명으로 구성되었다.

Effects of Annealing Heat Treatment Conditions on Phase Transformation of Nitinol Shape Memory Alloy (어닐링 열처리 조건에 따른 NITINOL형상기억합금의 상변환 특성 연구)

  • Phase transformation behaviors and crystal structures of Nitinol shape memory alloy $(54.5Ni-45.5Tiwt\%)$ are investigated by varying annealing heat treatment conditions through DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry) and XRD (X-Ray Diffraction). Annealing heat treatment conditions were considered as heat treated times of 5min, 15min. 30m1n, and 45min, as well as heat treated temperatures of $400^{\circ}C,\;500^{\circ}C,\;525^{\circ}C,\;550^{\circ}C,\;575^{\circ}C,\;600^{\circ}C,\;700^{\circ}C,\;800^{\circ}C,\;and\;900^{\circ}C$ According to the results, annealing heat treatment conditions such as heat treated times and heat treated temperatures were found to affect significantly on phase transformation behaviors and crystal structures of Nitinol shape memory alloy.

Characteristics of the Library Services Market (도서관 서비스 시장의 특성)

  • The purpose of this conceptual paper is to identify the library services market and its characteristics versus the common commodity market so that marketing and management in library services can be more fruitful in terms of research and development. Based on the developed hypothetical market, a library services market is identified; the market is then characterized in comparison to the common commodity market using three theoretical characteristics of the library services market: indirect exchange, limited competition, and time-lagging exchange. Based on these characteristics, two possible research directions are suggested: development of goals for library management and consideration of applications in library marketing.

  • 본 논문은 현실감 있는 영상 기반 환경 모델의 생성을 위해 영상 분할 기반 환경 모델링 방법을 제안한다. 입력 영상을 환경 특성에 따라 바닥면, 천정(하늘), 주변 물체들로 분할하고 분할된 바닥면이나 천정을 참조 평면으로 설정하고 주변 물체들의 깊이값을 계산함으로써 상세한 환경 모델을 얻을 수 있다. 영상 분할 환경 모델링 방법은 환경 맵에 적용하기 용이하며 환경의 특성에 따른 깊이값 추출 방법으로 손쉽게 환경 모델링이 가능하다. 또한, 시점이 이동되고 시차를 갖는 환경의 표현이 가능하다.

3D Stereoscopic Augmented Reality with a Monocular Camera (단안카메라 기반 삼차원 입체영상 증강현실)

  • This paper introduces an effective method for generating 3D stereoscopic images that gives immersive 3D experiences to viewers using mobile-based binocular HMDs. Most of previous AR systems with monocular cameras have a common limitation that the same real-world images are provided to the viewer's eyes without parallax. In this paper, based on the assumption that viewers focus on the marker in the scenario of marker based AR, we recovery the binocular disparity about a camera image and a virtual object using the pose information of the marker. The basic idea is to generate the binocular disparity for real-world images and a virtual object, where the images are placed on the 2D plane in 3D defined by the pose information of the marker. For non-marker areas in the images, we apply blur effects to reduce the visual discomfort by decreasing their sharpness. Our user studies show that the proposed method for 3D stereoscopic image provides high depth feeling to viewers compared to the previous binocular AR systems. The results show that our system provides high depth feelings, high sense of reality, and visual comfort, compared to the previous binocular AR systems.

A Water Surface Detection Method by Correlation Analysis of Watermark Images with Time Interval (시차가 있는 수위표 이미지의 상관분석을 통한 수면측정기법)

  • The aim of this study is to suggest a detection method of water surface location and its evaluation results of application for same vertical position in two successive images with time interval including both staff gauge and water surface. A specific rectangular inspection area is defined from the top of watermark and then the correlation coefficients for the inspection area of the same position of two images with short time interval is calculated. Accordingly, it is possible to identify differences between changing area and fixed area of pixel density by the water flow. The photographs taken in the laboratory were analyzed in order to validate the proposed technique. As the result of the experiment, it is identified that characteristic of correlation coefficients depends on the size of the inspection area. In the case that the inspection area is within the entire width of the watermark, water surface characteristic according to correlation coefficients is clearly noticeable. Thus, it is identified that the proposed technique can be utilized to search water surfaces. Besides, using corelation analysis of two images with time interval, it is identified that error range between 10 and 42cm was reduced in the level of 2.6cm or less in the contaminated photo of existing image stage gauge. Therefore, it is expected that the suggested method can be utilized to enhance image stage gauge performance improving the previous water surface detection method.

Non-Contact Gesture Recognition Algorithm for Smart TV Using Electric Field Disturbance (전기장 왜란을 이용한 비접촉 스마트 TV 제스처 인식 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, we propose the non-contact gesture recognition algorithm using 4- channel electrometer sensor array. ELF(Extremely Low Frequency) EMI and PLN are minimized because ambient electromagnetic noise around sensors has a significant impact on entire data in indoor environments. In this study, we transform AC-type data into DC-type data by applying a 10Hz LPF as well as a maximum buffer value extracting algorithm considering H/W sampling rate. In addition, we minimize the noise with the Kalman filter and extract 2-dimensional movement information by taking difference value between two cross-diagonal deployed sensors. We implemented the DTW gesture recognition algorithm using extracted data and the time delayed information of peak values. Our experiment results show that average correct classification rate is over 95% on five-gesture scenario.

  • 김해 국제공항 2단계 확장 공사 중 구 국제선 청사 발파해체공사"는 5.5초의 기폭시차를 두고 약 7초간에 구조물의 붕괴를 유도하여, 단기간에 안전하며 최대의 효율을 낼 수 있는 발파해체공법을 적용하여 시공하였다. 이에 따라 발파해체공사의 공법, 공정, 세부 현황 및 결과, 발파공해영향권에 대해 분석, 평가 하였다. 구 국제선청사 구조물은 3층 높이로 저층 구조물에 해당하고 구조물의 특성상 Span 간격이 길고 충고가 높다. 또한 지반이 액상한계점 상태까지 도달하여 구조안전진단 결과 위험등급인 D등급으로 판정되었다. 본 대상건물과 같이 충고는 낮지만, 구조 안전성 측면에서 위험 요소를 가지고 있으므로 발파공법을 적용하여 해체를 실시하였다.

  • 염료감응형 태양전지(DSSC)는 다양한 태양전지 중, 가장 환경친화적이고, 생산단가도 낮을 뿐만 아니라 다양한 색상과 투광성을 확보할 수 있어 많은 연구가 진행되어왔다. 하지만 액체전해질을 사용하는 기존 염료감응형 태양전지는 높은 휘발성과 열 팽창 수축에 따른 전해질 누액의 문제점으로 인하여 최근에는 고체전해질을 이용한 염료감응형 태양전지의 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 또한 기존 염료보다 높은 흡광계수와 넓은 흡수스펙트럼을 지닌 페로브스카이트가 개발되어 현재 많은 관심이 주목되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 $TiO_2$ 제조상의 중간생성물인 Metatitanic acid (MTA)를 이용하여 광전극을 형성하고 열처리 온도에 따른 나노입자의 소성거동평가을 평가하였고 시차열중량 분석, 결정상 확인을 하고 염료감응 태양전지에 적용하였다. MTA 나노입자를 Field Emission Transmission Electron Microscopy (FE-TEM), Barrett-Joyner-Halenda (BJH pore size distribution)과 Brunauer-Emmet-Teller (BET) 분석을 통해 소성거동을 평가하고, Thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA)를 통해 열중량 측정을 하였으며, X-ray Diffraction (XRD) 분석을 통해 결정상을 확인하였다. 또한 Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy를 통해 MTA 나노입자의 표면분석을 하였다. 형성된 MTA 광전극을 페로브스카이트 염료에 적용하여 5%의 효율을 달성하였다.
