A Study on Traffic-Flow Characteristic Changes on Expressway by Visibility (시정거리에 따른 고속도로 교통류 특성 변화 연구)

  • Weather factor to affect driver's driving environment are due to changes in weather conditions is caused rainfall, snowfall, fog etc and the reducing of road capacity and because deteriorating weather could be affect the headway and vehicle speed and the decrease in lane caused by an accident occurs that was analyzed that bad weather occur congestion greater than on the clear day. Bad weather to reduce of the driver's visibility was analysed the sensitive to changes in travel speed and traffic accident to appears high characteristics according to weather conditions on the expressway(higher speed) than general road. As a result, visibility have been determined to be important factor in changes of the highway traffic flow characteristics. Therefore, in this study, we selected traffic volume and travle speed that have a major impact on high-speed expressway basic segments as importance effect factor and we selected to subject of analysis among the Metropolitan Expressway that it could be obtained certain level of traffic volume data and we studied the changing of expressway traffic flow due to change visibility after the collecting of meteorological and traffic data. In order to perform this study, data collection and analysis methods were established through the existing literature and we had selected level of visibility of the expressway and we had performed the statistical verification. Finally, we had calculated the rate of change of expressway traffic flow characteristics due to visibility and we had come up with a way to apply at capacity and service level analysis.

Sinusoidal A Study on the gain Stability of the Feedback Linear Pulse Amplifiers for Fast Pulse Input (금속펄스 선형증폭기의 빠른 입력펄스에 대한 이득안정도에 관한 연구)

  • The gain stability of the nuclear pulse linear amplifiers with feedback for such a fast pulse input as the step voltage or the nuclear radiation detector pulse is analysed in detail. The expression is derived which describes the waveform at the anode circuit of the photomultiplier tube which is a part of the nuclear radiation detector. It is analysed and compared when the feedback amplifier has one and two time-constants. When these fast input pulse voltages are applied to the feedback amplifier, the effects of feedback in linearity and stability of the output voltage appear only after two or three rise-times of the amplifier, And it is proved that in order to reduce this limitation, the rise time of the feedback amplifier shou1d be less than the input pulse width. It is also shown that the above theory can be applied directly to the voltage-shunt feedback amplifier stages designed as the basic amplifier of the linear amplifier, and that the gain stability is more improved for the smaller input impedance of this amplifier stage.

  • In a chopper amplifier the input signal of the AC amplifier is a train of square-waves. In the rase of square-wave the operatiom of AC amplifier is much different from that of ordinary sinusoidal wave. In this paper for the purpose of contributing to the design of chopper amplifier destortions of waveforms in the amplifier were investigated. When the time constant of each stage is equal the waveform in each stave apppears as square wave whose top is exponentially decaying. And when each stave has different time constant the waveform in n-th stage is composed of n-square waves whose tops are exponentially decaying.

  • In this paper, we propose a time constant control method for sieving local minimum problem of the multiuser detector using Hopfield neural network for synchronous multi-rate code division multiple access(CDMA) system in selective fading environments and its performance is compared with that of the parallel interference cancellation(PIC). We also assume that short scrambling codes of 256 chip length are used an uplink, suggest a simple correlation estimation algorithm and circuit complexity reduction method by using cyclostationarity property of short scrambling code.It is verified that multiuser detector using Hopfield neural network more efficiently cancels multiple access interference(MAI) and obtain better bit error rate and near-far resistant than conventional detector.

A low noise PLL with frequency voltage converter and loop filter voltage detector (주파수 전압 변환기와 루프 필터 전압 변환기를 이용한 저잡음 위상고정루프)

  • This paper presents a jitter and phase noise characteristic improved phase-locked loop (PLL) with loop filter voltage detector(LFVD) and frequency voltage converter(FVC). Loop filter output voltage variation is determined through a circuit made of resistor and capacitor. The output signal of a small RC time constant circuit is almost the same as to loop filter output voltage. The output signal of a large RC time constant circuit is the average value of loop filter output voltage and becomes a reference voltage to the added LFVD. The LFVD output controls the current magnitude of sub-charge pump. When the loop filter output voltage increases, LFVD decreases the loop filter output voltage. When the loop filter output voltage decreases, LFVD increases the loop filter output voltage. In addition, FVC also improves the phase noise characteristic by reducing the loop filter output voltage variation. The proposed PLL with LFVD and FVC is designed in a 0.18um CMOS process with 1.8V power voltage. Simulation results show 0.854ps jitter and 30㎲ locking time.

  • 본 논문에서는 다기능 ESS의 제어알고리즘 및 운영 전략에 따른 모드 천이 안정성 및 경제성 등 장시간 시뮬레이션을 수행할 수 있는 소프트웨어 테스트베드 모델설계 결과를 제시한다. 전력변환장치의 순시 응답 특성을 확인하기 위해서 인버터 전력반도체 스위치, 인덕터 및 커패시터 등의 부품에 대한 모델링이 필요하고, 이는 전력계통에서 활용되고 있는 상용 소프트웨어인 Matlab/Simulink/SimPowerSystems의 라이 브러리를 활용하여 구현할 수 있다. 하지만 평균모델을 사용하는 경우에도 각 요소 회로의 시정수로 인해 시뮬레이션의 샘플링 시간을 줄이는 데는 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 신재생 에너지의 하루 발전 특성에 대한 제어로직에 따른 결과 및 경제성 분석등에 활용할 수 있는 기능모델(functional model)의 설계 방법을 제시하고, 개발된 모델을 상용소프트웨어의 결과와 비교함으로써 본 연구결과의 타당성을 보인다.

  • Infrasonic transducer made with dielectric materials, such as polytetrafluoroethyleme(PTFE)film. The experimental result obtained that the response is within $\pm$1.5dB from 0.1Hz to 7KHz, and that sensitivities of typical transducer are fixed -60dB. The time constant of the transducer at room temperature is over 60 years, and the activation energy of the value of 1.1eV at 343K acquired. This transducer can have application to high-quality communication system, seismological observation etc.

Prediction of sprinkler activation time in compartment fire (구획화재에서의 스프링클러 작동시간 예측 연구)

  • A general description of sprinkler activation time in compartment-fire-generated smoke layers is made. For calculation of the time hot layer temperature is obtained from two-layer zonal model and time constant of sprinkler is measured. Upper-layer thickness at the instant of sprinkler activation is also presented with changes of opening area. The output of the present study provide inputs for the interaction modeling of sprinkler spray and compartment fire environment, which simulates fire suppression phenomena. Futhermore, experiments are performed in mock-up with gasoline pool fire in order to evaluate the reliability of the model.

  • 본 논문은 유도전동기의 직접벡터제어 시스템에서 전동기가 기동 시 토크 충격없이 부드럽게 기동할 수 있는 기동기법을 제시한다. 직접 벡터제어에서 고정자 자속을 계산 시 사용되는 적분기 문제를 해결하기 위하여, 인버터주파수에 따라 시정수를 제어하는 프로그램어블 3-단계 저역필터를 적용한다. 이 3-단계 저역필터는 거의 완벽한 적분기능을 수행 할 수 있으나, 이 저역필터는 고정자 자속의 시간지연을 유발하므로 기동 시 전동기 토크의 충격을 발생된다는 문제점이 있다. 따라서, 기동시 고동자 자속의 시간지연을 보상하는 고장자 자속의 피이드포워드 기법을 제시하여, 전동기 기동 시 토크 충격을 방지한다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여, 이 기동기법의 타당성을 확인한다.

  • 본 연구는 SI 프로젝트 현장에서 시스템의 주요 이슈를 최소화하기 위한 진단 Framework를 구축하는 방안에 대해 고찰한 것이다. SI 프로젝트에서 심각한 Risk로 발전할 가능성이 있는 시스템 이슈들을 효과적으로 관리하기 위해서는, 사전에 (1) 시스템 이슈 점검을 위한 조직에서 이슈 식별을 위한 방법과 절차를 확립해야 하고, (2) 프로젝트 수행 조직의 구성원이 담당 업무 별로 이슈 식별을 할 수 있도록 역할을 설정해야 한다. 더불어 (3) 식별된 이슈들은 올바른 절차에 따라 시정 조치가 취해져야 하고, (4) 시정 조치가 합당한지에 대한 영향 분석 및 평가를 거쳐 시스템 오픈 여부를 결정할 수 있어야 한다. 뿐만 아니라 (5) 유사한 SI 프로젝트에서 발생 가능한 시스템 이슈들은 발생 원인과 해결 방법이 정리되어 시행착오를 줄일 수 있도록 진단 방법론이 지속적으로 보강되어야 한다.
