The moral instruction expresses and conveys a abstract objects so called moral. And it pursues occurrence of moral meaning contained a emotion. There have been few researches about Christian imagination reflected in modern sijo. The purpose of this study was to provide basic information helpful to deeply understand Christian literature and clarify the history of Christian sijo literature. For this purpose, the study focused on pieces of sijo written by Seon Jeong-ju and Jang Sun-ha both of whom put out lots of sijo based on Christian imagination. The two poets are common in that they were born in the Japanese colonial period and started their career as a poet at an almost same time. First of all, how a sijo writer, Seon Jeong-ju applied Christian imagination to his pieces of sijo can be summarized as follows. As a poet and paster, Seon Jeong-ju wrote and published 6 volumes of sijo collection. His pieces of sijo were all written based on Christian imagination. Many of the pieces contain Christianity-related stories that were poetically represented through paradoxical imagination. Among pieces of sijo written by Seon Jeong-ju, some reveal enthusiasm for seeking after truth that he kept in mind as a clergyman and others, the poet's strong belief in the Resurrection. Next, Christian imagination that another sijo writer Jang Sun-ha reflected in his works can be briefed as follows. The poet published a sijo collection of his own in 2010. As one of the best representatives of the modern sijo circles, he is a veteran poet who is still creating pieces of sijo. Since he became a Christian in 1996, he has released more than 200 pieces of Christianity-based sijo including those contained in his sijo collection, "Introduction to Love Studies". Most of the Christian poets quoted words from the Bible or borrowed episodes described in the Book. In those poets, he uses imagination that is allusive to the confession of his faith and, in some cases implies his own views of eschatology. In conclusion, both Seon Jeong-ju and Jang Sun-ha wrote and published lots of sijo works on the basis of Christianity, and each of them built up his own world of Christian sijo. In many of the two poet's pieces of sijo, critical doctrines of Christianity and their desperate devotion to that religion are found. Both of them made remarkable poetic achievements, so they deserve being recognized as second to none in the history of Christian sijo literature.
Haizi, who ended his life with suicide on the railroad at the age of 25, is a poet who implemented his unique poetic world alone without belonging to any of the existing Chinese poetry schools in the 1980s. The process that Haizi reveals self-inside through a poetic work is rather to hide self-inside paradoxically, too. Accordingly, even a work of figuring out the real intention, which is hidden in poetic dictions that he selected, will be meaningful. In this sense, this study tried to inquire into the poetic imagination and self-image that were revealed in poetry focusing on "Spring, Haizi of 10 People", which is a work of having his name as topic, with having been written at the time of suicide, among Haizi's many poetic works. In addition, it figured out Haizi's private conscious world through analyzing the poem titled "Facing the sea with spring blossoms", which was created ahead of death same as "Spring, Haizi of 10 People". Thus, the aim was to look back on significance of his death and to broaden the width of understanding about Haizi's poetry. As for Haizi, the death can be regarded as the completion of 'performance,' which is a kind of Haizi's own final art form. Hence, Haizi's suicide needs to be seen from the perspective dubbed the continuity of creation through this performance, not the discontinuance of creation caused by 'intended death' that the poet himself selected. In the wake of pursuing the poetic world of a gifted poet Haizi, who died early, that this study examined, there will be any poet of Korea who is recalled naturally. One poet will be first recalled Yi Sang, who is a poet and a novelist of having been broadly known. Another poet is overlapped Gi Hyeong-do, who had been active as a poet and a journalist of having been dead after living in the similar period to Haizi. A comparative analysis among works by these Korean and Chinese poets has similarity beyond the temporal space. A research on this is thought to have value of being considered a little more deeply and generally hereafter. Still, this study mentioned only possibility of a comparative research on this.
The popularity of melodrama indicates that melodrama is composed in a historical context. This is the reason why it is necessary to analyze the imagination of melodrama within a sociocultural context rather than asking the essentialistic question of "What is melodrama?". (2016) and (2018) caused sensations while holding unchallenged top positions in terms of viewing rate and popularity. These dramas indicate the popular imagination and desire of Korean society in the 2010s during a period of upheaval. This paper analyzed imagination in melodrama with a focus on nation and emotions of individuals in and . In preexisting dramas, conflicts are often limited to individuals and families; on the contrary, in and , a nation appears as a motif that forms conflicts between individuals. In these intense situations of conflict, people make rational judgments at first; however, they soon dispose of such judgments and reveal value-oriented attitudes through emotions, which drive actions. Both dramas form poésie mainly through poetic rhyming and the mise-en-scène of objects. The dramas also amplify emotions. The main emotions of these dramas are sympathy and sadness. Such emotions are not consumed in itself; instead, they show moral aims through performativity. Consequently, sympathy becomes solidarity, and sadness becomes mourning. Unlike preexisting melodramas whose endings were simply pursuits of love and happiness within the realm of individuals, and demonstrate a moral imagination that simultaneously reminds us of the individual and community through solidarity and mourning.
This thesis is for clarifying a few aspects of 'Kyung(敬)' ideology and figures appearing in Yeheon(旅軒)'s poem. This ideology and figures is a kind of a imaginative thing that a poet designed. First, we focused his aspirations of virtual uncontaminated areas and found out his big store of life wisdom and knowledge. The second is we thought about a displaying a emphasis of proud spirit[氣像] in his own poem world, and we found that he saw things from an unworldly point of view. Finally we talked about several features of Yeheon(旅軒)'s poem world. Now we have to compare Yeheon(旅軒)'s poem and any other Dohakpa(道學派) poets for example Toegye(退溪), Hwejae(晦齋) etc. And we must clarify the whole poem world of Dohakpa(道學派). In the end, I'm so sure that we will get a prospect of their literature.

The purpose of this paper is to explore the characteristics of a digital culture, its negative effects, especially automatism of perception, a poetic strategy against automatism of perception and the utility of poetry including the therapeutic function of poetry. The new technologies offer us various experience, great opportunities and rosy future by freeing us from boring and laborious tasks, and difficult decisions. Through the excessive and habitual use of new technologies, we may become too dependent on machines, losing our thinking abilities, sensibility, perception and creativity. Therefore, we need poetry to recover the sensation of life and make us feel things. Reading poetry allows us to look into someone else's soul and cultivate the ability to empathize. As a healing fountain, poetry leads us to a way for a change of heart, a recovery of psychic health and universal love through perfect communion in ourselves and in society. Furthermore we need a systematic and in-depth study of digital poetry as well as traditional poetry.

This study examines the diversity of garden culture in the Joseon Dynasty focusing on genre painting. Genre painting gives us insight into the various ways of enjoying the garden. The intimate activities portrayed in the painting show us about the vivid scenes of Korean garden at that time. Among the various meanings of gardens, sensual pleasure is focused on here. The garden has always been a place of pleasure for seeing, smelling, touching, meeting people and erotic flirting. Here, the oriental aesthetic idea of Pungryu is adopted to reformulate pleasure based on the traditional way of thought. Most Korean gardens in the Joseon Dynasty were understood as the place for Pungryu. Sensuality in the Korean garden associated with a high level of spiritual pleasure. In order to look closely into garden activities, genre paintings were selected and analyzed. Several characteristics were elicited. First, the garden was understood as the medium of communication through reconciling man with nature. Mediating man with nature often calls for uplifting the sense of community within groups of people. Second, the garden was featured as the place of cultural creation. Many scholars utilized the garden as a place for poetic imagination. Therefore, the garden was the locus of intellectual discourse. Third, personal retreat was one of important functions in the Korean garden. the humble attitude toward landscape such as solitude and mediation might be understood as one way of enjoying the nature. Fourth, taste, power and social relations were embedded in garden culture. Therefore, the garden was regarded as a space of distinction. Garden making was understood as one of the high class leisure activity. It was quite natural that the garden was used as a place of showing up their taste and culture. Finally, we need to reinvigorate the rich meanings of garden in contemporary practices. In-depth analysis of garden culture through the lens of genre painting gives us quite useful information in Korean garden culture.
The purpose of this paper is to examine the unmanned life and poetic world of Ilong Choehuilyang. Choehuilyang is uninhabited and rarely left 227 poems and being recognized for his poetic achievements by later writers. Therefore, it would be meaningful to look at Choehuilyang's poetic world in the point of studying the unmanned poetry system. In Chapter 2, I looked at life as a base stage to understand Choehuilyang. Choehuilyang from his youth while studying at the age of 21, but turned to 武科. This is due to the gauntlet of the family who does not care about the 文武, Choehuilyang's grand physical condition and the resulting unattended temperament. Choehuilyang passed the exam in the past. And he won the war seven times under General Admiral Yi. However, when Admiral Yi Sun - shin was killed in Noryang, Choehuilyang returned to his hometown. After that, he died without going out until he was 92 years old. In Chapter 3, we examined Choehuilyang's spoetic world based on Chapter 2. Choi 's poetry can be divided into revealing the temperament of the unmanned, living peacefully in his hometown after returning home, and revealing his concern for the country. The poems revealing the unattended temperament are created by sensuous sheer or direct narrative when they are on the battlefield, when they watch the war after returning home. Peaceful life in Kangho was created in Naju, the hometown. And the poem that worried about the country was created by seeing the sick horan. I hope that the research that has been discussed so far will help to understand Choehuilyang's life and world.
Even though only 3 sijo are in high school textbook. through these 3 sijo each type can be understood in that each represents pyung sijo, sasul sijo, and present sijo. To learn with learner-centered activities, which aim for full knowledge acquisition regarding literary works, as the preparing stage, students can learn what theyll learn by teachers. Sijo are, so to speak, formed with three chapters, and stand for the world that is colorless, scentless, and flavorless. So, the theme can be found with ease. Compared with other genres, sijo can be formed creating background with ease. Moreover, sijo are not too long, so learners can paraphrase it. Sijo that express private experiences with the everyday language can be related to other genres or everyday language. So, sijo are last to present. In the teaching phase, on the gradation of concretion and gradation, writing or presentation activities are presented. After classroom, learners keep a reaction journal. In the phase of concretion and gradation, learners can apprehend that typical differences of the emotions of poetic speakers is from typical differences, even though emotions of poetic speakers of (1)$\cdot$(2)$\cdot$(3) that is each stand for pyung sijo, sasul sijo, and present sijo are roughly summarized loneliness, desolateness, and gloominess. Moreover, these typical differences are from social, political. and cultural settings, namely, the differences of contexts. In this teaching model. learners should prepare for content regarding context and text before the class. Teachers should act as an assistant to help learners pre-understand their subjective experiences and imaginations.
