공유수면을 간척 또는 매립하여 국토를 확장하여 산업화 도시화에 따른 토지수요 용도변경에 대처하여 국가발전의 균형을 유지하는 목적으로 수행하는 간척사업 시설중 중요한 시설인 배수갑문은 외수(해수)의 차단 및 내수배제를 통한 침수피해 경감의 역할을 수행하고 있다. '02년 태풍 "루사" 등 수공구조물의 설계빈도를 초과하는 폭우 발생으로 인한 홍수피해가 발생하고 배수갑문 설계시보다 유입홍수량이 증가하여 홍수시 수위가 계획홍수위 이상으로 형성되는 경우가 많아 이를 해결하기 위하여 배수갑문의 확장사업이 실시되고 있다. 그 첫 번째 사업으로 아산만방조제 배수갑문의 확장을 실시하였다. 아산만방조재 신설 배수갑문의 위치가 연약지반으로 형성되어 있어 신설 배수갑문을 통한 방류시 고속의 수류로 인한 바다측 물받이공 하류부의 세굴이 발생할 가능성이 크며, 이로 인한 배수갑문의 붕괴 우려가 있다. 그러므로 이를 방지하기 위하여 배수갑문 하류에 정수지형 물받이공을 설치하여 고속으로 방류되는 방류수의 유속을 저감시켜 세굴의 발생이 최소화하여 안정성이 확보되도록 하였다. 정수지형 물받이공의 효과 및 안정성을 검증하기 위하여 3차원 수치해석 FLOW-3D모형을 적용하여 수평물받이공과 정수지형 물받이공의 유속차이를 비교분석하였다. 분석한 결과 정수지 말단부에서 정수지 시점부와 비교하여 유속감소는 최대 약 49%, 평균 약 39%의 유속 감세효과를 나타내는 것으로 나타나 정수지형 물받이공을 통한 세굴 감소효과로 아산만방조제 배수갑문의 세굴에 의한 안정성은 확보되는 것으로 나타났다.

MeLuhan's work has enormous power in the study of media theory. In Lee-Sang's works, we can find out the Macluhan's idea, "tactile" writing, which enhances more than one single sense, we-Sang's pieces, viewed as the origin of Korean concrete poetry, are being reconfigured in modern times. After publication, Lee-Sang's esoteric and complicated poem was considered as the result of schizophrenia. However, in the reconfiguring process, his continuously issued poems were reconsidered as a fraction of visual arts and analyzed as the substances of Korean dadaism and an attitude to challenge. But the real importance of Lee-Sang's poem is the extension of a sense; his poem is unbiased either by visual part or by emotional part, though one sense is extended to another sense. Now you will see the reinterpretation of we-Sang's world from the viewpoint of media, 'extension of senses'.

This study investigates the influence of the mother brand's product types on the consumers' brand evaluations on consistent and inconsistent brand extensions. The study shows that brand extensions consistent with the mother brand's product type have better brand evaluations than inconsistent brand extensions. The study also shows that brand extensions consistent with utilitarian mother products are much more important than consistent brand extensions with hedonic mother brands. Furthermore, results show that the types of consumer involvement influence the consumers' brand evaluations by interacting with types of mother brands and consistency of brand extensions.

iBASE/Cluster는 한국전자통신연구원에서 개발한 객체 지향 멀티미디어 DBMS인 바다-IV를 기반으로 공유 디스크 기반의 클러스터 환경에서 무정지 DBMS 서비스를 지원하기 위하여 확장된 DBMS 이다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위하여 수행된 바다-IV 의 확장에 대해 기술한다. 기술된 내용은 공유 디스크 자원 접근을 동기화 하기 위한 동시성 제어 기법 및 버퍼 관리 기법, 그리고 특정 노드에 고장 발생 시 회복 기법 등에 대한 확장을 포함한다. 또한 확장된 DBMS가 LVS(Linux Virtual Server) 기반의 클러스터에서 자동적인 고장의 감지 및 이전(fail-over)을 수행하기 위한 연동 구조를 다루고 동작 시나리오를 통하여 구현된 시스템의 흐름을 보인다.

이 논문에서는 용어 클러스터링의 성능에 직접적인 영향을 주는 자질 확장에 따른 시스템의 성능 변화를 보았다. 객관적인 성능 비교를 위하여 용어 클러스터링 결과와 한국어 의미 계층망에서 추출한 클러스터를 비교하였다. 실험 결과, 용어의 뜻 풀이말을 자질로 사용한 경우보다 자질을 확장한 방법(Bigram, Case)이 성능이 좋게 나왔으며, 자질확장 시에 사용되는 말뭉치의 추출방법에 따라 다른 성능을 보였는데, 단순히 Bigram 정보를 사용하여 확장한 것 보다는 동사의 격 관계(Case)정보를 이용한 것이 성능이 좋게 나왔다.

최근 IPv6 망에 멀티호밍을 제공하기 위한 연구 방향 중의 하나는 지리적 정보를 이용하는 것이다. 대표적인 메커니즘인 Geo for Now[1]은 지리적 위치 정보를 기반으로 주소를 할당하고 멀티호밍 제공 시 DFZ내의 글로벌 라우팅 테이블 엔트리가 급격히 증가되는 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방안을 제공한다. 그러나 [1]은 멀티호밍을 위하여 반드시 새로운 주소가 할당되어야 하며 멀티호밍 서비스를 요구하는 사이트가 증가되는 경우 확장성 문제를 야기한다. 본 논문에서는 지리적 위치 정보를 기반으로 IPv4 형식의 멀티호밍 기법을 그대로 적용하는 동시에 확장성 문제를 해결하기 위한 메커니즘을 제안한다. 제안된 메커니즘의 경우 지리적 위치 정보 및 확장된 BGP 속성의 사용으로 멀티호밍으로 인해 야기되는 상세한 경로 정보의 확산을 제한한다. 이로써 확장성의 문제를 발생시키지 않으면서도 IPv4 형식의 멀티호밍 기법을 사용함으로써 IPv4 멀티호밍에서 제공하던 기능들을 유사한 수준으로 제공할 수 있다.

본 고에서는 현재 가장 주목받는 IP 기반의 VPN 기술인 IPSec과 BGP/MPLS, 그리고 최근에 제안된 프로토콜인 SMPLS와 BGP/IPSec에 대하여 각각의 특징 및 장단점을 비교하고 IP VPN프로토콜의 연구동향 및 발전방향에 대하여 분석한다. 보안성(Security)에 강점을 갖는 IPSec과 확장성(Scalability)의 장점을 지닌 BGP/MPLS는 VPN의 구축 시에 반대로 각각 확장성과 보안성의 단점을 갖는다. 이에 대하여, BGP/IPSec은 IPSec에 확장성을 추가하여 VPN 구성을 효율적으로 하도록 했으며, SMPLS는 MPLS 페이로드에 대하여 암호화 및 인증이 가능하도록 하였다. VPN 사업자들이 서비스를 준비중이거나 시작한 IPSec과 BGP/MPLS 기술은 각각의 장단점 때문에 다른 기술과 융합하거나 계속하여 발전 될 것이 예상되며, 이는 VPN 기술의 확장성과 보안성을 강화하는 방향으로 진행될 것이다.

검색 엔진에 입력되는 질의 중 입력 빈도는 낮지만 상대적으로 길이가 긴 질의를 롱테일 질의라고 일컫는다. 롱테일 질의가 전체 검색 로그에서 차지하는 비중은 높은 반면, 그 형태가 매우 다양하고 검색 의도가 상세하며 개별 질의의 양은 충분하지 않은 경우가 많기 때문에 해당 질의에 대한 적절한 검색어를 추천하는 것은 어려운 문제다. 본 논문에서는 롱테일 질의 입력 시 적절한 검색어 추천을 제공하기 위하여 질의-문서 클릭 정보를 활용한 추출기반 모델 및 Seq2seq와 GPT-2 기반 생성모델을 활용한 질의 확장 방법론을 제안한다. 실험 및 결과 분석을 통하여 제안 방법이 기존에 대응하지 못했던 롱테일 질의를 자연스럽게 확장할 수 있음을 보였다. 본 연구 결과를 실제 서비스에 접목함으로써 사용자의 검색 편리성을 증대하는 동시에, 언어 모델링 기반 질의 확장에 대한 가능성을 확인하였다.

This study investigates whether urban expansion can act as a cause of the decline of the original city center through the Space Syntax methodology. The urban spatial structure analysis was conducted targeting the downtown area of Jeju-eupseong. The time points for longitudinal analysis were set at five points between 1914 and 2021 including the Japanese colonial period when the cadastral map was drawn up in Jeju City, and the urban spatial structure was analyzed and compared for each time point. ASA (Angular Segment Analysis) was used as a technique for urban spatial structure analysis. This study shows that urban expansion is a cause of the decline of the original downtown. The original city center has moved away from the center as the urban structural change due to the urban expansion. The urban structure of the eastern part of Jeju City has undergone a major transformation between 1914 and 2021. As the old Jeju area where the original city center was located is geographically in contact with the sea, urban sprawl has been made toward Halla Mountain and further to the south of Jeju. Accordingly, the city center has transformed from a monocentric to a polycentric structure. Due to the dynamics of the urban sprawl, the old downtown of Jeju became one of the peripheral neighbourhoods in the Greater Metropolitan of Jeju.

This study presented a framework for re-conceptualized data literacy that consists of three domains-knowledge, skills, and contexts- and elements that are emphasized by each domain. In addition to the existing concept of data literacy that mainly emphasized the skills to handle data, the context domain of data was considered including the elements of scope, time, and value orientation. Based on the re-conceptualized data literacy, it is expected to be usable as reference material in the development of curriculum and educational programs in the fields of informatization, manpower training, and administration.
