대부분의 온라인 게임에서는 아이템이나 사이버머니를 얻는 생산활동과 아이템을 구입하는 소비활동이 일어나는 등, 일종의 경제 시스템을 이루고 있다. 특히 최근에는 플레이어들이 아이템 현금 거래를 통해 현실과 게임간의 경제적 상호활동을 하고 있기 때문에, 게임 내에서 발생하는 경제 문제가 실제 게임업체의 매출과 수익성에도 영향을 줄 수 있다. 온라인 게임 내의 사이버머니 통화량 및 아이템 유통량에 대해 어떤 경제 정책을 세우는가에 따라 게임 서비스 회사의 수익성이 좌우된다. 때문에 게임 내부의 경제와 실물 경제의 상호 연관성을 파악하는 것이 게임 경영에 있어 중요한 이슈로 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는, 게임 속에서 구체적으로 어떠한 경제문제가 발생할 수 있으며, 그것이 유저의 게임동기와 회사의 수익성에 어떤 영향을 끼치게 되는지 파악하고자 하였다. 시스템 다이내믹스 방법론을 이용하여 온라인 게임의 일반 경제 모형을 개발하고, 이를 이용하여 몇 가지 시나리오에 대한 동태적인 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 이를 통해, 온라인 게임을 경영함에 있어 고려해야 할 주요 문제들에 대하여 논하였다.

본 논문은 선행연구인 정회성${\cdot}$전대욱 (2005)의 모형을 중심으로 선행연구에서 미처 다루지 못한 체계 변화 및 모형 확장 등에 대해 다루고 있다. 선행연구에서는 우리나라의 참게 복원사업에 대한 개체수 동태모형(population dynamics)과 자원 경제학적 이론모형을 근거로 생태${\cdot}$경제 통합시스템에 대한 동태모형을 도출하고 이를 통해 실증분석을 수행하였는데, 본 논문에서는 이 통합 모형에 있어서 밀도 제약(density restriction)과 공식 행위(cannibalistic behavior), 주민참여에 의한 환경개선 등 일련의 가정들에 대한 확장을 통해 보다 일반화된 통합체계 및 시스템 다이내믹스 분석을 제시한다. 이와 같은 모형 확장 및 파라메터의 내생화 등은 관련 피드백 루프들의 변형과 추가 등을 의미하며, 이와 같은 변화를 포함한 확장 모델을 제시하고 분석함으로써 참게 복원사업에 대한 보다 폭넓은 논의를 제시하고자 한다.

Congestion problems can be approached from the viewpoint of system dynamics theory. The relationship between road capacity and congestion can be explained by the 'relative control' archetype among four system archetypes suggested by Wolstenholme. There is a balancing feedback loop between road capacity and road congestion. However, there is another balancing loop between road congestion and car traffic volume, which keeps disrupting the equilibrium of the former loop. A system dynamics model, which is based on a partial adjustment model of induced traffic in the literature, is built to simulate three road building scenarios: 'Expanding investment', 'Balancing investment' and 'Frozen road investment' scenarios. The 'Expanding investment' scenario manages to drop congestion levels by 9% over 30 years, however, causing much higher emissions of $CO_2$ than other scenarios. The trade-off relationship between congestion levels and environmental costs must be taken into consideration for road investment policies.

We try to use system dynamics to forecast the demand/supply and price, also transportation fare for iron ore. Iron ore is very important mineral resource for industrial production. The structure for this system dynamics shows non-linear pattern and we anticipated the system dynamic method will catch this non-linear reality better than the regression analysis. Our model is calibrated and tested for the past 6 year monthly data (2003-2008) and used for next 6 year monthly data(2008-2013) forecasting. The test results show that our system dynamics approach fits the real data with higher accuracy than the regression one. And we have run the simulations for scenarios made by possible future changes in demand or supply and fare related variables. This simulations imply some meaningful price and fare change patterns.

The defence industry of the Republic of Korea(ROK) has grown up since 1970, however it is facing a growth hindrance due to its structural problem. Many professionals of defense industry has developed some measures to upgrade and energize the defence industry of ROK, and also the current government is implementing various transformations and new policies under the initiative of cooperative independence defence. But most of papers published so far have some limitations resulting from their qualitative contents. And also it is true for them not to show policy alternatives devised by the system thinking. This paper identifies essential factors of defense industry, then analyze the causal relation among those factors. It also shows the causal loop to identify the politic leverages, on which concrete measures to resolve the structural problems are based.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate a possibility of applying multimethodological approach for solving a dilemma. The motivation of this attempt is that the two different approaches, the system dynamics and the theory of constraints, resemble each other in having mental models for describing the target system and using graphic tools for representing those mental models. After a brief discussion on the comparison of the two approaches, a combined method applying to the problem of dilemma is suggested. For an experimental example, the proposed approach is applied to the sales and finance conflict on an inventory issue. The study shows that the suggested approach is able to complement each other's drawbacks. Especially constructing a stock-and-flow model and implementing a computer simulation would be very useful for quantifying the system's behavior which is hardly tracked down when applying the theory of constraints alone.

The concept of resilience in complex and adaptive socio-economic systems, has been a buzz word in international societies and academies related to policy makers for sustainable development since some years ago. This paper deals with an application of the resilient concept, which has been told since the last some decades in the field of ecology and applied system sciences, to social science especially in system dynamics. First the author introduces the concept of equilibrium stability and resilience in simple dynamic models, and moreover provides the behavioral characteristics and examples of system resilience in terms of system dynamics. The concept of resilience in structural perspectives are also discussed with the topics of panarchy and adaptive renewal cycles, etc.

정보화사업은 사회 다른 어느 분야보다 눈부신 발전을 보이고 있으며, 중앙부처는 전국공동활용체계 구축, 그리고 행정업무의 능률 제고를 위한 각종 사업들을 역점 추진하고 있다. 그러나 정보화 사업은 중앙부처 위주로 추진되어 개별기관별, 단위사업별로 정보화가 이루어지고 있다. 또한, 기초자치단체의 경우 종합적인 정보시스템추진계획 구도와 전략의 부재로 인해 다양한 정보화 사업들이 부서별로 산발적으로 추진되고 있으며, 이는 사업추진의 분할손은 물론 사업간 연계를 통한 상승작용을 저해하는 주 요인으로 작용할 가능성이 노출되고 있다. 중앙부처의 표준시스템의 개발 및 보급은 그 수용대상인 기초자치단체의 행정정보화를 앞당길 수 있는 긍정적인 영향과 더불어 기초자치단체의 수용능력여부에 따라 기초자치단체의 행정정보화는 그 혼란을 더욱 가중하는 부정적인 영향을 줄 수도 있음을 시사하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 표준시스템의 긍정적인 영향만을 인식하고 있는 구조를 파악함은 물론 간과하고 있는 부정적인 영향을 시스템사고를 이용하여 이해함으로써 표준시스템의 보급으로 인한 기초자치단체로의 역기능을 최소화하고, 그에 역동적으로 대처할 수 있는 방안으로 조직 측면에서는 CIO제도의 활성화와 정보담당조직위상의 제고를, 시스템 측면에서는 표준시스템과 기존시스템간의 GAP 분석을 통한 틈새도출 및 보강을, 데이터 측면에서는 공유정보제공시스템 구축을 통한 데이터 자원의 활용을 그 대안으로 제안하고 있다

This paper deals with the policy failure in housing markets. In order to understand basic mechanism leading to policy failure, systems thinking and system dynamics modeling is applied to housing markets and housing policy. This paper will show different set of causal maps on housing policy, and compare causal reasons of housing policy and its critics.
