  • In this paper, we propose an efficient lighting control system design for AVR based LSDM control. This paper, an efficient lighting control system design for LSDM control be design divided as the signal control part for I/O data bus and the timer/counter part for clock signal control according to operating conditions. LSDM control logic be optimization to PORTx and DDRx register by specifying the logical value of each bit for effective control signal processing. And, the LSDM control signal by lighting control program execution of ATmega128 be designed to be LSDM lighting control by control logic operating. In this paper, a proposed lighting control system were measured to power loss rate to proved the power loss reduction about lighting status of LSDM control logic by download the lighting control program to system through serial from host PC. As a measurement result, a proposed lighting control system than the existing lighting control system were proved to be effective to the overall power consumption reduction.

  • In this paper, design of current and speed controller for DC motor drive system using dSPACE 1104 system is introduced. Current and speed controller is designed and implemented using MATLAB/SIMULINK program simply and easily, and speed control response of DC motor can be advanced. Current and speed control of DC motor is carried in DSP control board using dSPACE system. Speed feedback is processed through QEP using pulse encorder as speed sensor, and current feedback is processed through A/D converter using hall sensor as current sensor. Controller is designed to PI current controler and PI speed controller. Current and speed response is verified through simulations and experiments.

  • This paper proposes the adaptive fuzzy control system using the microprocessesor for high precision control of automation systems which exist non-linearities such as saturation, relays, hysteresis, and dead zones. The proposed system which provides the improvement in terms of the control region in transient and adaptive control, first used the frequence-locked mothed driving a system to generate a output voltage proportional to the frequency diffierence of relnence input signal and feedback signal for fast transient response,, and when the error reaches the preset value, used the adaptive fuzzy logic for precision control. The theoretical and experimental studies have been carried out. The presented results from the above investigation show considerable improved performance in the precision control of servo control systems.

  • The problem of finding control laws for underactuated systems has attracted growing attention since these systems are characterized by the fact that they have fewer actuators than the degrees of freedom to be controlled. A sliding mode control based on the theory of variable structure systems is a robust methodology to control nonlinear systems. In this paper, a sliding mode control with integral sliding function is proposed and asymptotical stability is proved in the Lyapunov's sense for underactuated systems. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control, computer simulations for an acrobot, which is a representative underactuated system, are performed. Using Mathworks' Simulink/Simscape, the acrobot dynamics is implemented and the proposed control is composed. Simulations demonstrate the effectiveness and usefulness of the proposed control.

  • Demand on information security in mobile devices based control system grows rapidly with a view to counteracting information hacking and leakage. Among these techniques, encryption and authentication are most common. This paper presents CBC-MAC (Cipher Block Chaining-Message Authentication Code) based mobile devices control system. The system is termed as Secure Mobile in Vehicle (SMIV)We use CBC-MAC that is one of the most efficient authentication modes to protect information against any malicious attacks. By sharing the secret key of CBC-MAC between the transmitter and receiver, it asserts authentic information. The proposed system is verified in such a way that we develop mobile devices control system, apply the CBC-MAC algorithm to the control system and validate the received data. Unlike conventional systems where the development of control mechanism in mobile devices based control systems is main concern, this proposed system offers a secure communication link of the data in mobile devices control system and therefore would be useful to the design and implementation of various mobile devices based control systems.
