The effects of factors of natural air drying were evaluated by the simulation model for rough rice drying. The factors were airflow rate, harvest date, initial moisture content and weather conditions. For simulation, the RICEDRY (Chang et al., 1983) was used. Then, the applicability of the model and the feasibility of rough rice drying by natural air were tested under the tropical weather conditions of Costa Rica.

The study aims to analyzed and identify the heat transfer characteristics of heating unit for room using 3-D numerical-analysis in order to design heating unit. The temperature comparison processes were done with various numerical conditions. In addition, the optimal conditions of heating unit design were proposed as inlet temperature, the inlet flow, heater power, and vessel size.

A computer-aided simulation model for inventory control was developed using Apple II Plus micro-computer. The model forecasts quarterly demands with Single Exponential Smoothing method and simulates Supply Demand Review and Inventory Level Settings for each items. The simulation is based on the assumption that the demand occurrences have their own probability distributions.

For the vehicle of UV ink formulated with prepolymer and/or reactive diluent, according to change photoinitiator concentration, we measured viscoelasticity of films of bisphenol A diacrylate cured by UV irrdiation, investigated dynamic characteristics and structural changes.

GESS-a computer code for simulation of energy spectra for gamma-ray in NaI(T1) scintillator has been developed. The Monte Carlo method was employed to simulate physical behaviours of particle transport in a medium. In the processes of simulation, all the interaction processes such as Rayleigh and Compton scattering, photoelectric effect and pair production were considered. The resulting electron slowing down spectrum was also considered with the CSDA model. For the purpose of verification of the code, a measurement gamma spectrum for incident gamma energy of 1.33 MeV was performed. The measured values appeared to be slightly higher than the theoretically calculated values.

개의 N과 P채널 EEPROM을 이용하여 A/D 변환기를 설계하였다. 프로그래밍 모드에서 EEPROM의 선형적 저장능력을 관찰하기 위해 MOSIS의 1.2㎛ double-poly CMOS 공정을 이용하여 셀이 제작되었다. 그 결과 1.25V와 2V구간에서 10㎷ 미만의 오차 내에서 셀이 선형적으로 프로그램 되는 것을 보았다. 이러한 실험 결과를 이용하여 프로그램 가능한 A/D 변환기의 동작이 Hspice에서 시뮤레이션 되었으며, 그 결과 A/D 변환기가 37㎼의 전력을 소모하고 동작주파수는 333㎒ 정도인 것으로 관찰되었다.

본 논문은 선박의 계산기제어문제의 일환으로서 일정한 속력으로 계로를 따라 항해하는 선박을 대상으로 조타계를 계산하는 문제를 취급한다. 설계의 지침으로써는 선박이 대양을 항해함에 있어서 예상되는 외란으로 인하여 증가되는 항로 및 외란의 영향을 제거하기 위해 취하는 조타운동으로 인한 속력의 손실을 항로의 연장 또는 항해시간의 연장이라는 고나점에서 2차형식의 평가함수를 선정하고, 이 평가함수를 최소로하는 의미에서 최적조타계를 설계한다. 실제로 최적조타계를 실현하기 위해서 적합관측기를 도입하였으며, 계산기의 시뮤레이션에 의해 본논문에서 제안한 최적조타계의 유효성을 입증하였다. 실선실험에 의해 조타운동과 속력감소의 관계를 확인하였으며, 위치오차로 인해 야기되는 문제점에 대해서도 약간의 고찰을 행하였다.

본 연구는 새로운 객체 지향 모델링 방법으로 VOOM(Various Object-Oriented Modeling)을 제안한다. VOOM은 시스템의 요소 뿐만 아니라 시스템 요소들간의 관계 및 그들로 이루어진 구조를 서로 유형이 다른 프레임으로 정의하여 객체화시키고, 객체화된 시스템 요소 및 관계, 구조를 서로 연결하여 하나의 시스템을 구축하도록 한다. 따라서 전체 시스템의 측면에서 구성 요소의 역할과 전체적인 시스템의 행위 및 구조를 쉽게 파악할 수 있도록 한다. VOOM을 통한 모델링 작업은 체계화되고 검증이 용이해지며, 모델의 유연성 및 재사용성이 확장되어질 수 있다. VOOM에 의한 모델링 작업 지원 가능성이 컴퓨터 통신망을 대상으로 한 시뮤레이션 모델링 예를 통해 제사하였다.
