A Study on Average Access Times by Priority Levels of FDDI MAC Protocol (FDDI MAC 프로토콜의 우선순위 등급에 따른 매체 이용 평균시간에 관한 연구)

  • This paper investigates average access times on eight asynchronous priority levels of FDDI MAC protocol with parameters on offered loads, message sizes, and number of stations. In case of parameter with offered loads, higher priority levels exhibit similar variances and in case of parameter with message sizes and number of satations, higher priority levels exhibit almost invariables but as increase of message sizes, increase only a small amount of access time on the other hand, as number of stations increase, average access times decrease little by little. But in case of lowest priority level. average access times decrease little by little. But in case of lowest priority level, average access times exhibit relatively large variances about above three parameters.

  • In this paper, a new continuous~time small signal model of an average current mode control is proposed. Sampling effect Is considered to obtain the proposed small signal model. By the proposed model, the high frequency response characteristics of current loop gain might be predicted accurately compared to previous models. And this leads the prediction of inductor current response of the proposed model to be accurate compared to others. In order to show the usefulness of the proposed model, prediction results of the proposed model are compared to those of the circuit level simulator, PSIM and experiment.

부영양화의 진행과 그 대책

  • 이 글에서는 작은 저수지인 천호지를 대상으로 부영양화의 진행과 원인 그리고 이에 따른 미생물생태학적인 변화를 살펴보았으며 끝으로 호수를 회복시키는 부영양화의 대책에 대하여 간단히 기술하였다. 천호지는 충청남도 천안시 단국대학교 천안 캠퍼스 앞에 위치한 0.31km$^{2}$의 작은 관개용 저수지로 1995년 평균 엽록소 a의 농도가 75.$\mu$g/l에 달하는 등 부영양화 현상이 매우 심하게 나타났고 있다(1). 최대 수심은 7-8m, 평균 수심은 3m정도로 얕아 성층현상은 나타나지 않으며 평균 체류시간은 3-4개월이나 집수역에서 저수지까지의 유달 시간이 짧아 집수역에서의 실 체류시간은 1주일 미만일 것으로 추정된다.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 정렬 알고리즘의 성능을 향상시키기 위하여 정보블록 전처리알고리즘(IBPA)이라는 전처리 알고리즘을 제안한다. IBPA는 정렬된 리스트(list)에 있는 데이터에 관한 정보를 생성하고, 생성된 정보를 이용하여 각 데이터를 재배치하며, 실제적인 정렬은 기존의 정렬 알고리즘을 그대로 이용하여 이루어진다. IBPA의 성능을 측정해본 결과, 2백만개의 랜덤데이터를 정렬한 경우, O(N2)의 평균시간복잡도를 갖는 정렬알고리즘의 0.003%, O(NlogN)의 평균시간복잡도를 갖는 정렬알고리즘의 52%, 그리고 O(N)의 평균시간복잡도를 갖는 정렬알고리즘의 89%정도의 비교회수만으로도 정렬할 수 있음을 보여주었다.

  • 최근 기후변화로 인해 대류성 집중호우가 빈번하게 발생하고 있으며, 이러한 강우 특성은 산지지역에 위치한 소하천유역에 상당한 피해를 야기한다. 대류성 집중호우는 규모가 작고 속도가 빠르기 때문에 중규모 이상의 유역에서 부분적으로 상이한 강우특성을 보인다. 아울러 이러한 호우패턴의 변화는 일시적인 현상이 아닌 하나의 기상 특성으로 자리를 잡아가고 있기 때문에 이에 대한 대책마련이 더욱 필요한 실정이다. 돌발홍수 예경보시스템에 예측강우 자료는 예측 선행시간의 한계를 가진다. 즉, 예측강우 자료자체가 가지는 편의와 불확실성으로 인해 예측 선행시간이 3시간을 초과하면 신뢰도가 급격히 하락하게 된다. 이를 해결하기 위해 우리나라에서는 지상관측치와의 편의를 보정하거나 예측강우자료 자체의 품질을 개선하려는 노력을 지속하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 예측 선행시간을 확장하고자 순차적으로 생산되는 예측강우를 가중평균하여 앙상블 예측치를 모의하는 기법을 개발하였다. 각 선행시간별 예측강우자료를 앙상블 멤버로 인식하여 이들의 공분산 구조를 파악하고, 분산과 공분산 수치를 이용하여 가중치를 결정하였다. 1, 2, 3시간 예측 선행시간에 대한 확장 가능성을 확인하고자 하였고, 최적의 앙상블 멤버 개수를 결정하여 적용 및 평가하였다. 본 연구에서는 2016년과 2017년에 발생한 주요 호우사상을 선정하고, 우리나라 전역에 걸쳐 예측강우 앙상블 생성 방법론을 적용하였다. 그 결과, 가중평균 앙상블의 예측치가 예측강우장 1개, 단순평균 앙상블 예측치에 비해 좋은 품질의 예측 성능을 보였으며, 예측치의 분산 또한 감소하여 예측에 대한 불확실성이 줄어듦을 확인하였다.

Evaluation of Long Term Operation of 50 kW Phosphoric Acid Fuel Cell System (50 kW급 인산형연료전지 발전시스템의 장기 운전평가)

  • 차세대의 새로운 발전방식인 인산형 연료전지 발전시스템의 운용기술의 확립을 위하여 50 kW급 실증설비를 도입하고 주변기기를 설계, 설치하여 장기운전 특성시험을 실시하였다. 이 설비는 1993년 8월부터 1994년 11월 말까지 총 6,003시간의 운전기간 동안 187,190 kWh의 발전전력량을 기록하였고, 이 기간 동안의 발전운전시간 이용율은 63.01%, 평균출력은 33.5 kW였다. 설비의 운전특성에 있어서 정부하시 평균전압 및 전류는 각각 DC 130 V와 461 A였으며, 경시전압감소율은 1,000시간당 3.8 mV 정도로 나타났다. 설비의 기동·정지 특성중 기동시간은 냉간기동시 평균 4시간 50분, 난기동시 2시간 34분 정도가 소요되었고, 발전효율은 정부하시 전기효율이 37.46%, 배열이용효율은 43.8%로 전체효율 81.26%를 나타냈다. 환경 특성중 배가스중의 NOx 농도는 1 ppm 미만이었고, 소음도 63 dB 정도로 양호한 특성을 보여주었다. 운전기간 중 발생한 사고는 총23회로, 외부운전조건에 대한 민감성이 큰 것으로 나타났으며, PAFC 시스템의 상용화를 위해서는 스택수명 및 운전신뢰성을 향상시키는 것이 필요하다.

The Bus Arrival Time Prediction Using Bus Delay Time (버스지체시간을 활용한 버스도착시간 예측)

  • It is occurred bus arrival time errors when a bus arrives at a bus stop because of a variety of traffic condition such as traffic signal cycle, the time to get on and off a bus, a bus-only lane and so on. In this paper, bus delay time which is occurred as the result of traffic condition was estimated with Markov Chain process and bus arrival time at each bus stop was predicted with it. As the result of the study, it is confirmed to improve accuracy than the method of bus arrival time prediction with existing method (weighed moving average method) in case predicting bus arrival time using 7 by 7 and 9 by 9 matrixes.

Sleep patterns and it's influencing factors of hospitalized elderly in long-term care hospital (요양병원 입원 노인의 수면 양상 및 영향요인)

  • This study was conducted to identify the sleep patterns and influencing factors of hospitalized elderly in a long-term care hospital. The sleep patterns of 142 subjects were recorded using Sleep Charts. The average sleep time of subjects was 10.7 hours a day (3.9 hours in daytime and 6.8 hours in nighttime). Sleep regularity among participants were 71.7% in all day (58.1% in day time and 80.5% in night time). The presence of dementia patients in the room (PDPR) has been identified to be a statistically significant predictor of all day sleep, and pain, PDPR, and physical function have been found to be a significant predictors of sleep regularity in all day among subjects. It suggested that elderly patients in a long-term care hospital do not slept well during night, which leads to increase in daytime sleep and decrease the quality of their sleep. Therefore, an intervention program should be developed to promote the quality of sleep among hospitalized elderly.

Weekday Internet Game Times and Domestic Factors of Middle & High School Students (중고등학생의 평일 인터넷 게임시간과 가정환경 요인)

  • Most middle and high school students in Korea use internet for gaming and recreation. This study aimed to classify middle and high school students according to amount of time they spend playing games and analyze relationship domestic factors. Weekday game times and environmental factors of the adolescents in Korea. The group with average game time of 30 min, 0:30-1:30 hours, 1:30-3:00 hours, over 4:00 hours. Subjects in this study were 6,487 middle and high school students. For the category "thoughts about game characters", the group with average game time of 1:30~3:00 hours replied "not at all" but the group with average game time of over 4:00 hours replied "sometimes", which was significantly different from the previous group. Similarly, for the category "lack of time for homework", the group with average game time of 1:30~3:00 hours replied "not at all", which significantly differed from the "sometimes" response from the group with average game time. For satisfaction with interest, "average" was the most frequent response from all the groups. Analyzing correlation of factors influencing game addiction in subjects with game time showed that factors related to game addiction diagnosis and academic performance were especially different in the group with average game time of over 4:00 hours compared to other groups. Nowadays internet has taken a large and significant part of our life such that a life without internet is hard to imagine, and our dependency on internet has risen at the same time. Accordingly, education on appropriate utilization and correct usage of internet to youths who lack self-control and judgment is very needed.

The Development of Intervention Program for Enhancing Elementary Science-Poor Students' Basic Science Process Skills - Focus on Eye Movement Analysis - (초등과학부진학생의 기초과학탐구능력 향상을 위한 중재프로그램 개발 -안구운동을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an intervention program for improvement of elementary science-poor students' Basic Science Process Skill (BSPS) and to validate the intervention program's effectiveness using eye-tracker. The participants of this study were 35 elementary science-poor students. This study's method was the analysis of real-time eye movements during basic science process skill problem solving. SMI's 120 Hz iView XTM RED was used to collect EMD (eye movement data). Experiment 3.4 and BeGaze 3.4 programs were used to design experiment and to analyze EMD. The results of this study are as follows. First, we developed an intervention program including BSPS instructional strategy, behavior of teachers & student according instructional strategy stage, teachinglearning plan and learning note. Second, science poor students' BSPS ability has improved statistically significantly through the application of intervention program and BSPS problem-solving time decreased statistically significantly. Third, AFT (average fixation time) of BSPS Question and keyword area decreased statistically significantly. Fourth, APD (average pupil diameter) of BSPS problem-solving process expanded statistically significantly. Fifth, AST (average saccade time) of BSPS problem-solving process increased statistically significantly. Sixth, AFET (average fixation entry time) of BSPS problem-clue area was accelerated statistically significantly, AFT of BSPS problem-clue area reduced statistically significantly.
