Deep Learning Based User Scheduling For Multi-User and Multi-Antenna Networks (다중 사용자 다중 안테나 네트워크를 위한 심화 학습기반 사용자 스케쥴링)

  • In this paper, we propose a deep learning-based scheduling scheme for user selection in multi-user multi-antenna networks which is considered one of key technologies for the next generation mobile communication systems. We obtained 90,000 data samples from the conventional optimal scheme to train the proposed neural network and verified the trained neural network to check if the trained neural network is over-fitted. Although the proposed neural network-based scheduling algorithm requires considerable complexity and time for training in the initial stage, it does not cause any extra complexity once it has been trained successfully. On the other hand, the conventional optimal scheme continuously requires the same complexity of computations for every scheduling. According to extensive computer-simulations, the proposed deep learning-based scheduling algorithm yields about 88~96% average sum-rates of the conventional scheme for SNRs lower than 10dB, while it can achieve optimal average sum-rates for SNRs higher than 10dB.

A study on the characteristic analysis of danso vibrato tones (단소의 비브라토 특성 분석에 대한 연구)

  • The characteristics of the vibrato of danso, one of the wind instruments in Korean traditional music, have not been studied much. In this study, the characteristics of the vibrato of danso were analyzed using monotones and musical performances. In particular, intonation, vibrato rate, and vibrato extent were measured as a function of time, and their average values for each vibrato tone were also calculated. The results for vibrato rate showed that the vibrato tended to start slowly and then increase very quickly and significantly and the average values for each tone were observed to have a very wide range, which shows that the characteristics of the vibrato of danso are different from those in Western music. In addition, monotones and musical performances showed some different results in vibrato rate and vibrato extent. There have not been many studies that have quantified the intonation, vibrato rate, and vibrato extent in Korean traditional musical instruments, and this is especially true in the case of danso. The results in this study can be used as basic data on danso vibrato. For example, they can be used as reference materials in education, danso virtual instruments, and danso applications.

  • 기존의 ADCP는 1m 이하의 저수심 지점에서 측정이 불가능하였으며, 유속계 측정장비는 저유속 지점에서 측정이 불가능한 경우가 많아 유량측정에 어려움을 겪는 경우가 많다. 최근 RDInstruments에서 제작한 StreamPro는 1m 이하의 수심, 0.1m/s 이하의 유속에서 측정이 가능하기 때문에 이를 이용하면 저수심, 저유속 지점에서 유량측정이 가능하다. ADCP를 이용한 측정의 경우 보다 정확한 측정성과를 얻기 위하여 유속의 50% 속도로 이동하며 측정하여야 하며, 4회 측정유량값의 상대오차가 5% 이내일 때 그 평균값을 측정치로 한다. 그러나 0.1m/s 이하의 유속이 나타나는 지점은 0.05m/s 이하의 속도로 이동하며 측정을 실시하여야 하며 이 경우 측정시간이 너무 길어지는 문제가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 StreamPro를 이용한 유량측정의 적용성 평가와 함께 적절한 신뢰도를 얻을 수 있는 실용적인 측정회수 분석을 실시하였다. StreamPro를 이용한 측정성과의 적용성을 평가하기 위하여 StreamPro와 동시에 Price 유속계 측정을 실시하여 이를 비교하였다. 실용적인 적정 측정회수 분석은 측정유량의 상대오차를 Student-t분포에 적용하여 불확실도값을 기준으로 분석하였다. StreamPro와 Price 유속계 측정성과를 비교한 결과, 평균 상대오차가 약 3.5%로 적절한 값을 나타냈으며, 저수심, 저유속 지점에서의 실용적인 측정회수는 약 11회로 나타났다.

An Efficient Caching Algorithm to Minimize Duplicated Disk Blocks in 2-level Disk Cache System (2-레벨 디스크 캐쉬 시스템에서 디스크 블록 중복 저장을 최소화하는 효율적인 캐싱 알고리즘)

  • The speed gap between processors and disks is a serious problem. So, I/O sub-system limits the performance of computer system. To overcome the speed gap, caches have been used in computer system. By using cache, the access times to disk blocks can be reduced and the performance of computer system can be improved. In this paper, we proposed an efficient cache management algorithm for computer system which have buffer cache and disk cache. The proposed algorithm can minimize the duplicated blocks between buffet cache and disk cache. We evaluate the proposed algorithm by trace-driven simulation. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can reduce the mean access time to disk blocks.

  • The high distribution costs causes the increasing of truck delivery time and cost, which results in reducing industrial competitiveness incre. Therefore, This study conducted research into the introduction of truck only lane for reducting distribution costs. The site of study is Keumho JCT ~ Namgumi IC of Kyeongbu Expressway which has much truck traffic because of industrial complex. Thus, this study deduced travel speed and density in each scenaria(base, bus only lane, truck only lane, two only lane). According to analysis result, if a truck only lane install, the average driving speed is 83.4km/h as a highest and density 22.47veh/km as lowest. it means that if the truck only lane is install, it will be positive influence on the expressway

  • The experimental study of the hull surface roughness on a developing turbulent boundary layer which exposed to a variety of operating environments were investigated by performing particle image velocimetry(PIV) in a circulating water channel. The Reynolds number based on the width of roughness was about Re=1000. the roughness elements used were periodically arranged two-dimensionally. the flow visualization, time-mean velocity fields and vorticity fields to measure the flow characteristics were obtained. The investigation shows that the vortex generation and its progress inside the walls. And the center of the vortex was located at the middle of the height of the surface roughness.

  • A realization for automatic stock cubic measuring and distributing management embedded system with 3 dimensional ultrasonic sensing is presented in this paper. The height and width of cubic are measured by comparing the 3 values from 3 ultrasonic sensors with reference when an object is passing the conveyer and length is calculated by the passing time and velocity, compensate cubic values for error to vary with the environment temperature, and reduce the error by averaging the sensing data not to be right posture of object. The system enables to classify and load a packed stocks at the store and transportation practically based on the rectangular hexahedral objects.

플라즈마에 의한 웨이퍼 가열과 Si 식각 속도의 변화 모델링

  • 플라즈마에 노출된 재료 표면의 온도 증가는 다음과 같은 요인에 의해서 결정된다. 이온의 충돌에 의한 역학적 에너지, 이온의 중성화, 라디칼의 안정화에 의한 에너지 방출(잠열, latent heat), 플라즈마에서 방출된 빛의 흡수. 이중 식각을 위한 기판 바이어스에 의해서 주로 결정되는 이온 충돌 에너지와 잠열의 방출이 300 mm wafer용 유도 결합 플라즈마 식각 장치에서 소스 전력과 바이어스 전력에 따라서 어떻게 변화하는지 전산 유체 역학 모사 프로그램인 CFD-ACE를 이용하여 상용 식각 장비인 AMAT사의 DPS II를 대상으로 온도 분포의 변화를 계산하였다. 실험 결과와 비교를 위하여 다섯 곳에(상, 하, 좌, 우, 중심) 열전대를 부착한 온도 측정 웨이퍼를 기판의 위치에 설치하고 여러 가지 실험 조건에 대해서 온도의 변화를 측정하였다. Ar 10 mTorr에서 2열 병렬 안테나의 전력을 300 W에서 시간에 따른 온도의 변화를 측정하였다. 이때 wafer의 평균 온도는 $28.9^{\circ}C$에서 $150^{\circ}C$까지 12분 내에 상승하였으며 최고 온도에 도달한 다음에는 거의 일정하게 유지 되었다. Si의 식각에서 온도의 영향을 가장 크게 받는 반응은 F 라디칼에 의한 Si의 직접 식각이며 Arrhenius 식의 형태로 표현하면 0.116*exp (-1250/T)의 형태로 된다. 문헌에 보고된 계수를 이용해서 $29^{\circ}C$의 식각 속도와 플라즈마에 의한 가열 최고 온도인 $150^{\circ}C$ 때의 값을 비교해보면 3.3배의 차이가 난다. 따라서 4%내의 식각 균일도를 목표로 하는 폴리 실리콘 게이트 식각 장비의 설계에서는 플라즈마에 의한 가열 불균일을 상쇄 할 수 있는 히터와 냉각 구조의 최적 설계가 필요하다.

The Optimization of Vector Data for Mobile GIS (모바일 GIS를 위한 벡터 데이터 경량화 기법)

  • Providing services in a wireless environment with existing wired-based GIS solutions have many limitations such as slow communication, processing rates and screen size. This study suggested data optimization techniques in a mobile environment to overcome those limitations in four steps. In order to test the methods suggested in the study, experiments are conducted using Gangnam-gu as a test site. An existing GIS engine built in a wired environment was compared with the optimized GIS engine from the study in terms of performance in the same environment. They were also compared and analyzed in terms of response data size, number of requests processed per second, and average time to process a request. The results proved that the proposed engine shows significant improvements in performance compared with the wired GIS.

  • A sintering paste for bonding copper plates was synthesized using Cu formate nanofibers on Cu microparticles, mixed with formic acid. Copper oxide nanofibers of 10 ㎛ grown at 400 ℃ on Cu microparticles on the surface were transformed into copper formate nanofibers through the mixing of formic acid. Compared to Cu bulk particles or nanoparticles, Cu formate on Cu microparticles decomposed into metallic Cu at a lower temperature of 210 ℃, facilitating the sintering of copper paste. The growth of nanofiber on Cu microparticles allowed for an increase in the reaction rate of formation to copper formate, aggregating surface area, and decomposition rate of copper formate, resulting in fast sintering.
