Video Caption Extraction in MPEG compressed video (압축 MPEG 비디오 상에서의 자막 검출 및 추출)

  • 본 논문은 DCT를 기반으로 하여 비디오 내에서 자막을 I-frame들로부터 추출하였다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 자막 검출 및 추출 방법은 자막이 주위 배경 화면과 그 대비 값이 크다는 점과 화면상에 일정한 시간동안 유지된다는 점을 이용하였다. 먼저 비디오 내에서 I-frame들의 DCT 값들로부터 주위 배경화면과 비교하여 그 대비 값이 큰 영역들을 표시하였다. 이로부터 자막의 시간적 특성과 공간적 특성을 이용하여 자막을 포함하는 프레임을 검출하여, 그 내에 있는 자막 영역을 추출하였다.

  • 최근 온라인 뉴스는 대중의 관심사 및 트렌드에 따라서 다양한 종류의 기사들이 작성된다. 이러한 관심사 및 트렌드는 시간의 흐름에 따라 계속 변한다. 본 논문에서는 온라인 뉴스의 기사 제목을 이용하여 시간에 따라 변하는 관심사 및 트렌드와 관련된 단어를 추출하는 방법을 제안한다. 특정 기간 별 출현하는 뉴스들을 하나의 카테고리로 가정하고 자질 선택 방법에서 널리 사용되는 카이제곱 통계량을 이용하여 각 카테고리의 주요 단어를 추출한다. 실험 결과 특정 기간 별 관심사 및 트렌드와 관련된 단어들이 출현하는 것을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 MPEG 비디오 스트림을 분석하여 DCT DC 계수를 추출하고 이들로 구성된 DC 이미지로부터 제안하는 robust feature를 이용하여 shot을 구하고 각 feature들의 통계적 특성을 이용하여 스트림의 특징에 따라 weight를 부가하여 구해진 characterizing value의 시간변화량을 구한다. 구해진 변화량의 local maxima와 local minima는 MPEG 비디오 스트림에서 각각 가장 특징적인 frame과 평균적인 frame을 나타낸다. 이 순간의 frame을 구함으로서 효과적이고 빠른 시간 내에 key frame을 추출한다. 추출되어진 key frame에 대하여 원영상을 복원한 후, 색인을 위하여 다수의 parameter를 구하고 사용자가 질의한 영상에 대해서 이들 파라메터를 구하여 key frame들과 가장 유사한 대표영상들을 검색한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 대량으로 손쉽게 구 할 수 있는 식물염료를 확보하여 새로운 천연색소자원을 탐색하기 위해서 진행되었으며, 시료의 최적 추출 조건을 확립하고 추출된 색소의 실크에 대한 염색 특성을 살펴 최적 염색조건을 설정하고, 염색견뢰도를 평가하여 수수 등겨 추출물의 천연색소로의 활용에 대한 기초 자료를 마련하고자 하였다. 수수 색소 추출 시 생산성과 편리성을 고려하여 추출은 pH 4, 추출온도 $60^{\circ}C$, 추출시간 24시간이 적정조건으로 제시되었으며, 수수 추출물에 함유되어 있는 탄닌의 최대흡수파장은 282nm로 나타났다. 견직물의 pH에 따른 염색 특성은 pH가 증가할수록 K/S값이 증가하여 염착량이 증가하였으며, 염색온도가 높을수록 염색시간이 길어질수록 염착량이 증가하는 경향을 보여주고 있다, 염색온도가 높을수록 염색시간이 경과될수록 색상은 $Y{\rightarrow}YR$로 변화되는 것을 알 수 있었으며 염색온도가 높을수록 채도가 증가하였다. 욕비가 클수록 염착량은 감소하였으나, 채도는 약간 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 매염제 처리에 의한 색상변화에서는 Al, Ni 매염은 색상변화는 적었지만, Cu와 Fe 매염은 명도와 채도를 크게 감소시키고 아울러 색상도 Cu는 적갈색으로 Fe는 진회색으로 변화되었다. Sn과 Ti 매염에 의해서 명도는 약간 감소하고 채도는 약간 상승하여 연한 주황색으로 색상이 변화하였다. 설정된 조건에서 염색된 염색포의 일광견뢰도는 2~3급, 세탁견뢰도 변퇴색은 2~3급, 오염은 4~5급으로 나타났다. Fe로 매염된 염색포의 일광견뢰도는 증가하여 3~4급으로 나타났으며, 매염제 처리에 의한 세탁 견뢰도는 같거나 약간 증가되는 것으로 나타났다.

Octimization of Conditions of Filtration and Concentration of Methanol Extract for Recovery of Paclitaxel from Plant Cell Culture (식물세포배양으로부터 Paclitaxel 회수를 위한 메탄올 추출액의 여과 및 농축 조건 최적화)

  • This study examined the conditions of filtration and concentration of methanol extract from biomass. Filtration efficiency was improved by adding diatomaceous earth as a filter aid. The optimal amount of diatomaceous earth was 6% (w/w) to reduce the filtration time. The filtration time was reduced by 4.2% in first extraction, 30.0% in second extraction, 22.8% in third extraction, and 19.0% in fourth extraction, respectively. The optimal temperature of water bath was below 50$^{\circ}C$ for preventing paclitaxel degradation during concentration of methanol extract using a rotary evaporator. The temperature of concentrated solution in rotary evaporator was relatively low compared to bath temperature because of latent heat of evaporation. The stopping point of concentration in rotary evaporator for the following step was at a specific gravity of 0.96 of the concentrated solution in terms of the purity and yield of paclitaxel. This information is very useful for mass extraction of biomass for the recovery of paclitaxel from plant cell culture.

Change in Quality Properties of Extracts from Roasted Pleurotus eryngii by Microwave-Assisted Extraction Condition (마이크로웨이브 추출조건에 따른 볶음 새송이버섯의 품질 특성 변화)

  • This study was performed to investigate the changes in quality properties of extract from roasted Pleurotus eryngii by microwave-assisted extraction (MAE). MAE was carried out under different conditions including ethanol concentration, extraction time and microwave power. Total phenolics compound contents, electron donating ability (EDA) and nitrite-scavenging ability at pH 1.2 were high at 50% ethanol concentration. Superoxide dismutase (SOD)-like activity was high at 75% ethanol concentration. Soluble solid and total phenolics compound content decreased as extending extraction time up to 7 min. EDA decreased as increased extraction time. SOD-like activity and nitrite-scavenging ability were not significantly different. The highest soluble solid content, total phenolics compound content and EDA were obtained at 100 W extraction of microwave power. SOD-like activity was high at 25 W. But microwave power did not significantly affect the nitrite-scavenging ability.

Concentration of Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids from Anchovy Oil by Supercritical Carbon Dioxide (초임계 이산화탄소에 의한 멸치어유의 고도불포화지방산 농축)

  • To concentrate polyunsaturated fatty acids from anchovy oil by supercritical carbon dioxide $(SC-CO_2)$, effects of different adsorbents, cosolvents and extraction pressures on the extraction yield and fatty acid composition in the extract and the residue fractions were investigated. Anchovy oil mixed with silver nitrate-coated silica gel showed higher extraction yield and concentration of EPA and DHA in the residual fraction than that mixed with only silica gel at $60^{\circ}C/345{\;}bar$. Ethyl acetate was a promising cosolvent for concentrating polyunsaturated fatty acids in the residual fraction from anchovy oil mixed with silica gel. For the extraction pressures tested, 276 bar showed a maximum value in the extraction yield and concentration of EPA and DHA in the residue. Starting with anchovy oil containing 13.3% EPA and 16.2% DHA mixed with a silver nitrate-coated silica gel, the residue fraction containing 28.2% EPA and 38.3% DHA was obtained when ethyl acetate was used as a cosolvent with $SC-CO_2$ at $60^{\circ}C/276{\;}bar$.

Optimization of Extraction Process for Total Polyphenols from Angelica Using Response Surface Methodology (반응표면분석법을 이용한 안젤리카로부터 폴리페놀 성분의 추출공정 최적화)

  • In this study, polyphenols were extracted from Angelica, which are known to have a high antioxidant content and the extraction process was optimized using the response surface methodology. The extraction yield and the total polyphenols were set as response values for the methodology. Quantitative factors in the extraction process were the extraction time, volume ratio of alcohol/ultrapure water, and extraction temperature. When considering both the main and interaction effects, the greatest influence factor on the extraction yield and total polyphenols was the extraction time. The optimum extraction time and temperature and alcohol/ultrapure water volume ratio for angelica were 2.8 h, $56.6^{\circ}C$ and 64.0 vol% respectively. The extraction yield and total polyphenols when using the conditions were calculated to be 24.6% and 8.76 mg GAE/g. respectively. Determination coefficients of regression equations for the extraction yield and total polyphenols were 81.4 and 75.4%, respectively. Also the overall satisfaction level was found to be 0.80 and the significance was confirmed within 5%.

Studies on the Physical Properties of Sea Tangle Extracts by the different Extract Methods (추출조건에 따른 다시마 추출액의 특성에 미치는 물리적 특성의 영향)

  • The objective of this research was to characterize viscosity of sea tangle extract isolated from sea tangles in Korea to obtain basic data for production of dietary fiber materials with new functional properties. The viscosity of sea tangle extract was increased as the the extraction time increased. However, these values increased significantly up to 1 hour of extraction time and then slow increased in case of hot water extraction and enzymatic hydrolyzed sea tangle extract. As for addition of sugar and salts, the values of viscosity of sea tangle extract was very low in the addition of EDTA-2Na regardless of concentration. But in case of sucrose and NaCl, the viscosity of sea tangle extract were tended to decreased up to 2.5% concentration.

  • To industrialize the foods using wormwood extract, the optimal extraction yield of growth-inhibitory component of wormwood (Artemisia princeps) against Clostridium perfringens in vitro was investigated at various conditions. The optimal extraction of wormwood was produced from the condition of $40^{\circ}C$, 4 hours and 100% ethanol (30 volume).
