Efficient Parking Management through The Investigation of Car License Plate Using Camera (카메라를 이용한 차량 번호판 조사를 통한 효율적 주차 관리)

  • This research is to suggest a method for investigating car number plates among the information managed in parking facilities. The investigation of car number plate is generally used to know how long vehicles are parked. Also, it can provide the information about the parking turnover rate and the mean parking duration of parked vehicles. This research performs the investigation using cameras at a distance of time. That is, the given distance of time from cameras is assigned to each parked vehicle, and then it can find the mean parking time of parked vehicles. Also, it can check the parking turnover rate of parked vehicles at a space unit of parking lot in an hour. The information such as the mean parked duration and the parking turnover rate of parked vehicles taken from this method is helpful to find and understand the inefficient use of parking facilities. With this suggested method, this research attempted to check the mean parking duration and the parking turnover rate of parked vehicles.

A Study on Development of Bus Bunching Duration Model (버스몰림운행 지속시간 추정모형 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The present study aims at estimating the model of bus bunching duration along with its influential determinants in an attempt to understand the status of bus bunching being created by buses from various routes converging into one bus stop. To do so, the duration analysis, a well-known survival analysis, was adopted in order to capture the distribution of duration time as for 8 base lines, accordingly developing the model best fit for weibull distribution. Key attention to draw out the duration time model for bus bunching phenomena was laid, by analyzing 18 impact factors, on such criterion variables as number of berth, number of bus line in each berth and maximum capacity of on-and-off passengers in each line. Comparison in two typical types of bus lane was made between bus-only center lane(Dobong Mia-ro) and normal street-side lane(Tongil Euiju-ro). In this regard, the study, based on the model as above, suggested appropriate alternatives to improve the bus operation by effectively controlling bus bunching.

  • Understanding the relation between characteristics of an accident and its duration is crucial for the efficient response of accidents and the reduction of total delay caused by accidents. Thus the objective of this study is to model accident duration using an AFT metric model. Although the log-logistic and log-normal AFT models were selected based on the previous studies and statistical theory, the log-logistic model was better fitted. Since the AFT model is commonly used for the purpose of prediction, the estimated model can be also used for the prediction of duration on freeways as soon as the base accident information is reported. Therefore, the predicted information will be directly useful to make some decisions regarding the resources needed to clear accident and dispatch crews as well as will lead to less traffic congestion and much saving the injured.

Rainfall Adjustment on Duration and Topographic Elevation (지속시간 및 표고에 따른 강우량 보정에 관한 연구)

  • The objective of this study is to develop a method of rainfall adjustment on duration and topographic elevation for rainfall data in Jejudo. The method of rainfall adjustment is based on the polynomial regression analysis for the hourly rainfall data and the distribution of observatories of korea meteorological administration. As the results of modeling have shown, duration and rainfall are more correlated than topographic elevation and rainfall, and the model which considers only an elevation exaggerates the amount of rainfall adjustment. Hence the model of duration-elevation-rainfall is more competitive to the natural rainfall event than the model of topographic elevation-rainfall. However this model require to supplement a small number of rainfall observatories and short observed period.

  • Under the changing circumstances of broadcasting, this study aims at the corelation of television drama's rating and television image production techniques, analyzing TV image production techniques and TV rating of drama, the highest rating genre. For this research, 6 dramas were selected as samples except the dramas about history and violence on the basis of the TNS media korea's top 100 of the year 2007. This study analyzed camerawork, shot size, shot duration and scene duration with the contents of replay and manuscript viewing of broadcasting companys' homepages. As the result of the analysis of corelation, TV rating is inverse proportionate to multiple camerawork and shot average duration with a very close relationship, showing no relationship with other variables. The result of this study shows that multiple cameraworks and long durated shots should be avoided for higher TV rating.

  • 대규모 댐과 같은 수공구조물의 파괴시 상당한 피해가 발생하므로 구조물설계시 가능최대강수량(PMP) 기준이 적용된다. 포락선 방법은 가장 극심했던 강우량의 포락선을 작성하여 PMP를 산정하는 방법으로 기상 및 강수량자료가 부족시 PMP 추정이 어려운 경우에 사용한다. 포락선의 근사식은 지속시간의 거듭제곱인 멱함수 형태로 나타내며, 우리나라의 경우 1일을 전후로 계수와 차수가 다른 식을 사용한다. 이러한 근사식은 우리나라의 이상홍수 발생빈도 및 규모가 커짐에 따라 검토될 필요성이 있다. 또한, PMP 산정시 활용하는 제한된 수의 지상관측자료는 시공간적 변동성을 완전히 포착할 수 없어 한계가 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위하여 기상레이더 자료를 기반으로 우리나라 전역의 최대 강우깊이-지속시간 관계를 분석 및 새로운 PMP 포락선을 제시한다. 활용한 레이더는 CMAX(Column Maximum)로 2009~2018년간 10분 단위자료를 수집하였다. 레이더 자료와 비교하기 위하여 지상관측자료 AWS를 함께 수집하였다. AWS는 1997~2022년간 1분 단위자료로 우리나라 전역의 547개 지점관측자료를 활용하였다. 레이더자료는 Z-R 관계식으로 변환하여 가외치(outlier)를 제거 및 보정하였다. 그 후, 정규 크리깅기법으로 생성한 지상관측 강우장과 병합하는 CM(Conditional Merging)기법을 적용하였다. 우리나라 최대 강우깊이-지속시간 관계를 산정한 결과, 기존 포락선의 값이 낮게 산정되었음을 확인하였다. 이는 기후변화 등에 따라 최근 극한 호우가 발생한 것으로 판단된다. 또한, 실제 근사식은 멱함수 거동에서 벗어난 형태로 나타났고, 지점관측자료가 기상레이더 값보다 과소추정되는 경향을 확인하였다. 특히 같은 기간에서 확인하였을 때, 강우지속시간이 짧을수록 AWS값과 레이더자료의 강수량이 2배 정도 차이를 보여 지점관측소가 없는 지역의 국지성 호우 존재를 확인할 수 있었다. 추후, 미래에 더 긴 레이더 시계열을 사용한다면, 더욱 신뢰성 있는 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단한다.

A Study on Estimation of Factors Affecting Duration of Milk Flow and Milk Flow Rate and Their Relationships with Milk Yields of Dairy Cattle (유우의 착유 지속시간과 유속에 미치는 요인 및 산유량과의 상관관계 추정에 관한 연구)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the environmental effects on duration time of milk flow, peak milk flow, and average milk flow in teats, and to estimate their relationships with milk yields in morning and evening milking, and to provide fimdamental information for the further study on their relationships with clinical mastitis and somatic cell in milk. A total of 6,768 milking records were studied in 72 Holstein cows. The influences of season, parity, lactation month, and milking interval on characteristics of milk flow considering in linear model were significant(p<.05). Duration of milk flow was longest at milking in fall, past first parity and second month of lactation, and with milking interval over than 13.5hrs. Average milk flow rate and peak milk flow rate were highest at milking in summer, past first parity and 8${\sim}$10 months of lactation, and with milking interval over than 13.5hrs. Milk flow rate was positively correlated to milk yield, and negatively correlated to the duration of milk flow. However duration milk flow was positively correlated to the milk yield with high level of correlation coefficient(+.60). For the establishment of optimum selection criteria on these traits, other aspects such as the udder health, disease and respective economic weights of milk flow characteristics in this study must be considered to develop the indices.

Analysis of the Influence Parameters for Flood Discharge Computation in Small to Medium Sized Watershed in Gyeonggi-Do (중.소하천 유역의 홍수량산정 영향 인자 분석 - 경기도 하천을 중심으로 -)

  • 현재 하천기본계획은 10년 주기로 수립되고 있다. 일반적으로 실무에서는 과거에 계산된 홍수량과 최근에 계산된 홍수량을 비교하여 큰 값을 설계홍수량으로 채택하는 경향이 있다. 동일한 유역에 대해서는 도시화와 산업화로 인하여 과거에 계산된 홍수량보다 최근에 계산된 홍수량이 대부분 클 것으로 예측되었으나, 실제로는 증가뿐만 아니라 감소하는 결과도 발견되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이 증감의 원인을 분석하여 합리적인 설계홍수량의 채택에 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 경기도 중 소하천 6개 유역을 대상으로하여 수립된 하천기본계획 보고서를 기초자료로 강우자료의 채택방법(임의시간), 면적감소계수(ARF) 적용, 강우의 시간분포형 변화(Huff 4분위법), 유출곡선지수(CN) 변화, 도달시간공식의 변화, 임계지속시간의 적용에 따른 홍수량의 변화를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 홍수량 산정 시 임계지속시간 적용은 평균 60%, 유출곡선지수(CN)의 증가는 평균 10%, 강우자료 임의시간 채택은 평균 21%정도 홍수량을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 홍수량을 감소시키는 인자는 강우의 시간분포형을 Huff의 4분위법으로 하였을 때 평균 62%, ARF를 적용 했을 경우 평균 5%정도 감소하는 것으로 분석되었다. 도달시간의 변화는 홍수량 증감에 큰 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 홍수량 증가에 가장 크게 영향을 미치는 인자는 임계지속시간의 적용여부였고, 가장 큰 감소원인으로는 강우 시간분포형의 변화였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 공간상의 한 점에 대한 연속시간 강우모델로 시간단위의 통계특성을 재현하는데 유용하다고 알려진 BLRPM(Bartlett-Lewis Rectangular Pulse Model)을 이용하여, 측우기 자료를 포함하는 서울지점의 일강우 자료를 분해하고 지속시간별로 집성하여 모의된 시단위 단기 강우의 정량적 장기변화 특성을 분석해 보았다. 모의자료의 전이확률과 발생빈도 분석결과, 측우기 관측계열(CWK)에 비해 근대 우량계 관측계열(MRG)의 무강우 지속기간은 길어지고 강우지속기간은 짧아졌음을 알 수 있다. 이는 과거에 비해 근래의 강우지속기간이 짧아졌음을 의미하고, 근래 강우량의 양적증가와 같이 고려해 보면 근래의 강우강도가 과거보다 매우 높아졌음을 증명해 준다. 1960년대 전후로 구분한 자료계열(BCC와 ACC)에 대하여 지속시간별 모의 강우량의 평균과 분산의 비(증감률)를 월별로 비교한 결과, 전반적으로 9월이 증가의 정도가 가장 컸고 8월도 비교적 큰 증가 경향을 보였다. 그러나 6월은 오히려 약간 감소한 경향을 나타냈다.

Effects of the Ratio of Diatoms Length to the Effective Size of Filter Medium on Filter Clogging (규조류의 크기와 여재의 유효경이 여과지 폐색에 미치는 영향)

  • The effects of the ratio of effective size of filter media and diatom size on filter run time were evaluated by using both reported data and experimental results from several water treatment plants. For single media at several WTPs, the range of probability of the filter run time less than 15hr was 10~60%, and for dual media, that of the filter run time less than 30hr was 10~20%. The major filter clogging algae was Synedra acus of which dominant ratio was in the range of 64~92%. The effective size(ES) of filter medium for dual media filter was 0.71~1.40mm and uniformity coefficient of the filter was 1.25~1.67. The effective size(ES) of filter medium for single medium filter was 0.52~0.65mm and uniformity coefficient of the filter was 0.25~1.40. The range of calculated penetration depth was 2.58~15.4cm for dual media and 1.29~2.17cm for single media, and average filter run time was 40.1~83.3hr and 13.9~34.9hr, respectively. When Synedra counts were over 400cells/ml for single media, filter run time was below 5hr, while filter run time for dual media filter, remained as high as 70hr.
