Development of Web-based User Script Linking System for Three-dimensional Robot Simulation (3차원 로봇 시뮬레이션 환경을 위한 웹 기반의 사용자 스크립트 연동 시스템 개발)

  • Robotic motion is designed by the rotation and the translation of multiple joint coordinates in a three-dimensional space. Joint coordinates are generally modeled by homogeneous transform matrix. However, the complexity of three dimensional motions prefers the visualization methods based on simulation environments in which models and generated motions work properly. Many simulation environments have the limitations of usability and functional extension from platform dependency and interpretation of predefined commands. This paper proposes the web-based three dimensional simulation environment toward high user accessibility. Also, it covers the small size web server that is linked with Python script. The non linearities of robot control apply to verify the computing efficiency, the process management, and the extendability of user scripts.

Integrated Simulation System of GIS and ANN for Land Price Appraisal (GIS 기반 지가산정 및 시뮬레이션 시스템)

  • The purpose of this study is to develope a parcel-based automatic simulation system of land price through the integration of urban mathematical model and GIS. The appraisal process of public land price by the local government is simple but is a great time-consuming task. Moreover, it doesn't provide any statistical analysis and spatial presentation tools. So, it is difficult for planners or administrative officials to analyze the variation of land price with spatial idea. From these, a system is developed combining two sub-systems, they are ANN(Artificial Neural Network) for the calculation of land price and GIS for visual presentation. Using Matlab application, ANN model was designed having 3-layer structure and was trained with the sample data taken from Chinju city. With the trained network, the impact of 'road', 'parks', 'height control district' and 'beauty district' on land price in 9 regions(dong) are simulated. The results of the simulation were visualized with ArcView GIS. The automatic simulation system operated through the DDE(Dynamic Data Exchange) conversation between two applications. ArcView was set as client and Matlab as server. Scripting in ArcView and customizing a window of ArcView, this system can execute the whole process of simulation by just clicking a button with mouse. As a conclusion, this system was proved to be an effective and easily controllable planning support system for the land price simulation.

  • This study investigates Active Learning and Facilitation Convergence Education Program which can improve core competency to cope with vocational education in the fourth industrial revolution era. I applied the integrated advantages of Active Learning which enhances 'problem solving skill' and those of Facilitation for creative thinking idea to application design process coursework and verified the effectiveness of such education method through student satisfaction survey. I also designed application contents for the students who are familiar with the mobile environments and UI contents for data visualization which can help those students to improve their skills in software. Every coursework was conducted as a team project. As a result, Active Learning and Facilitation Convergence Education Program is found to be helpful in improving the basic skills and competencies required in college education. I hope this work helps to reduce the educational gap between industry and professional colleges.

  • Many People are collecting and managing variable information(Image, Graphic, Animation, Text, music files etc.) about personal interests and holding them in common. Most users are using Microsoft Explorer to make a folder and classify many files. but It's difficult to understand the relation of the data instinctively. To resolve this problem, we adopt information visualization method (especially tree-graph control interface). We suggest an interface that all user can drawing a Graph easily and rapidly. So user can see the relations of their data instinctively and control the relation directly with our sketch-based interface.

  • In this paper, we propose a PC based immersive virtual environment system with expandability and compatibility in contrary to existing immersive virtual environment(IVE) systems which have been implemented by supercomputer or special computing system. The application based on commercial personal compute may have two major advantage: one is variety of resources, the other is user-friendly interface. This system intends to offer easy contact to IVE system, realistic images, and convenience. Also, the system can handle various virtual reality at real-time and make it easier to interface existing complicated haptic device. Geometric techniques are adopted to calculate and visualize the physical phenomenon to speed up the computing time. The proposed implementation method of PC based immersive virtual environment system is implemented to the example in which user move around inside of and interact with virtual office environment wearing data glove, behavior recognition devices, and HMD.

  • Applications about systems integration of sensors and virtual environments have been developed increasingly. Accordingly, there is a need for the ability to represent, control, and manage physical sensors directly in a 3D virtual environment. In this research, a method of representing physical sensor devices in a 3D virtual environment has been defined using mixed and augmented reality, including virtual and real worlds, where sensors and virtual objects co-exist. The research is intended to control and manage various physical sensors through data sharing and interchange between heterogeneous computing environments. In order to achieve this, general sensor types have been classified, and a sensor based 3D scene graph for representing the functions of sensors has been defined. In addition, a sensor data model has been defined using the scene graph. Finally, a sensor 3D viewer has been implemented based on the scene graph and the data model so as to simulate the functions of sensors in indoor and outdoor 3D environments.

  • In this paper, an error tracking platform is designed for enhanced-reliable IOT system. The platform is designed to enhance reliability of IOT system by analysing additional informations(OS, Browser, Device) and by notifying error detection to developers. Especially, in the case of an error in the service which it is difficult for developers to recognize it, The platform also supports notification services through various communication media(Email, Slack, SMS). The common interface is designed to accommodate many languages(typescript, Swift, and Android) in the development process, and the interface allows users to analyze errors that occur on various platforms, including mobile/web/desktop applications. By presenting each error in groups through issues, developers can easily identify issues in the service. The visualizing function is included to recognize various error type by dashboard.

  • Nowadays, the limitation of Lighting control and management skills is the excessive cost of equipments, the operational difficulties and wasting energy. To solve this problem is in need of communication and management S/W that is worked out complexly well as a information system of smart lighting energy, which is loaded wireless network facility. This paper made a study od the energy saving technology through energy monitoring and we developed LEIS(Lighting Energy Information Sysem) to converge this one. LEIS is monitoring and control lighting energy data that is collelcted from sensors by Zigbee mesh network and shows lighting use information by visualization to users. It is consists of lighting energy information data base based on LEM(Lighting Energy Metering) information and LEIS Web application, provide function scenario to manage energy optimization through LEIS.

  • This study defines the pipeline for digital fashion contents production using CLO 3D, a 3D fashion design software that supports virtual clothing visualization as a cutting-edge simulation technology for fashion, and vuforia, a mobile platform augmented reality (AR) development kit for creating AR applications. The proposed production pipeline is organized in a method to produce a virtual clothing model through CLO 3D software through works of patterns, sewing lines, textures, etc., and AR contents based on computer vision techniques using the functions and properties of vuforia development kits in the Unity engine development environment. In addition, we present application method that can be practically utilized from the perspective of practical users, such as fashion designers and directors, by creating a new type of AR digital fashion contents directly as a flow of the defined production pipeline.

  • This paper presents the Module Class Dependency Graph for expressing the dependency relations between classes effectively. The object-oriented language is developed independently at design time, and consists of relationship between classes. Therefore we need to consider these characteristics of independence, and to express effectively the relation of classes which is existed in class hierarchy. In the System Dependence Graph and Class Dependence Graph, the relationship of classes is not expressed. To express the class relationship, we propose the Module Class Dependence Graph, and we verify the effectiveness of this method applying to object constructor, inheritance relationship and dynamic binding. Also, we presents the expressing method of parameter to identify the member data of classes. Using this Module Class Dependency Graph, we can analyze the relationship of module class correctly at design time. This method can be applied to reverse engineering, testing, visualization and other various fields to analyze system.
