Ho\/ever, its usage has not only decorated by microscopiC appreciative eye but also lost its meanlllg as a visual language which was caused by the negligence of systematic management of the facility in charge Result of study, Visual environmental factors as a cause of behavioral attitude based on the study, which has been carefully considered as a communication of the visual language. Therefore, considering the underground environmental graphics as the: sign or the signification-function, It has to be studied on syntactic, semantic and pragmatic viewpoint. SpeCifically, to maKe the color and formation language a signification-function as a generalized connotation to the public, a distinctive classified Visual language must be applied.

In architecture, Sensibility is the most basic thing in the environmental cognition. Emotion is the phychological or cognitive phenomenon of sensory changes. A cross-causal relationship is formed between the two, and they have a consensus in contact with humans and environment. Sensibility ever to serve as bundle and cognize as mutual superposition. Humans unconsciously perceive through the synesthesia that integrated all the senses. In this study, it has been identified as a result of the study, the architectural design through the sense must be design to the multisensory experience of the emotional design. Depending on the times change, it can know that the gradual changes based on the anthropocentric sense and sensibility. Emotional design in architecture shall ensure that a variety of experience through the multisensory. In this emotional design, multisensory design (or various sensory function) -visual & tactory or visual & auditory etc.- is required beyond the limitation of conventional visual concenturated. Therefore, In order to achieve the demands of the modern social objectives of sympathy or empathy for the human-centered design sensibility, the visual perception as well as a variety of sensory must be recognized that a combination of cognitive and functional. And the application of multisensory design is required to aim the synesthesia cognition.

A variety of methods are used in public advertising to make message persuasive. In order for posters to be more appealing, one good way is to use synesthesia. This study analyzed how synesthesia were used for effective communication. The case analysis is based on the prize winning advertisements chosen by the Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation. According to the study, synesthesia maximize the efficiency of information delivery. Secondly, in the public campaign posters, sight was the most frequently used sensory element, followed by touch, hearing, smell and taste, respectively. Third, visual tactility was mostly used in nature and environment related posters to effectively deliver the messages. In the topic of social community campaigning, visualization of hearing was applied the most. Lastly, when more than three multisensory stimulations were present in the public campaign, the strongest sense stimulus played the largest part in making message delivery more efficient. The results of this study are expected to provide a scientific basis for future campaign posters that synesthesia expression elements are applied.

지난호에서 시공연속체인 모션그래픽의 시공간적인 측면에 대해서 살펴봤다. 이번호에서는 현실의 또다른 측면인‘청각의 세계’에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 어차피 모션그래픽이라는 것이 인간의 눈을 그럴듯하게 속이는 일이라면 보다 완벽한 환상을 주기 위해 영상이라는 것에는 사운드가 필요하다. 여기서 가장 중요한 것은 사운드는 시각과 다른 감각기관을 통해서 우리에게 감지된다는 것과 그것이 우리의 청각경험의 본질을 결정한다는 점이다.

HMD(Head Mountain Display)을 이용한 가상환경 내에서 발생하는 멀미는 일상에서 느끼는 멀미와 흡사하다. 멀미는 평형감각을 담당하는 시각계와 전정계 및 체성감각계와 관련이 있으며, 그 기관계 간의 충돌로 인해 발생한다. 즉, 시각정보와 전정정보의 괴리에 의해 발생한다. 안구는 이러한 멀미감을 감소하기 위해 반사적으로 안구운동이 이루어지는데, 이것을 전정 안구 반사 라고한다. 머리가 움직이는 방향과 반대 방향으로 시야를 움직여 시야의 혼란 장애를 방지하는 운동으로, 주시 고정을 위해 시야 주변의 물체에 따라 표적을 원하는 물체에 시야를 고정시켜 안정적인 안구운동을 유지한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 안구운동을 기반으로 안정적인 시각정보를 제공하여 사이버멀미를 줄이기 위한 콘텐츠 개발 방법론을 제시 하고자 한다.

This study aims to empirically examine the effect of feedback on attention recovery. The role of feedback has been proven to be positive in particular to extend the limitation of attention resource. We studied the impact of feedback on attention by varying its type and modality. An experimental system was developed to observe how accurately the participants performed the pattern-matching task with differential feedback provided on a real-time basis based on the ADHD diagnostic model. Six university students participated in this study with 6 different feedback conditions and controlled conditions. The participants experienced the feedbacks before experiment. They was asked two hundred tasks in four feedback conditions. The difference of feedback effect according to different modality is to find within a subject. The results indicated that the combined feedback of cognitive with perceptual stimulus led better performance than the combined of perceptual feedbacks.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of mathematics learning through tessellation activities on the improvement of spatial sense and to find out a better mathematics teaching method that could further develop spatial sense. For this purpose, the following questions were attempted; Can mathematics learning using tessellation activities develop spatial sense? In odor to test this hypothesis, twenty-four fifth graders of a class were selected at random. And the experimental group was divided into four groups according to gender and academic performance. The groups were protested and post-tested to determine results based on the quasi-experimental design(i.e. one-group pretest-post test design). The process of this study was checking spatial sense for a common evaluation of experimental group. In this study, tangram, pattern block, and GSP was used for mathematics learning through tessellation activities during each independent-study, discretion-activity, and math class. The instrument used in this study was a spatial sense test and pretest and post-test were implemented with the same instrument(i.e. K-WISC-III Activity Test). In conclusion, mathematics learning through tessellation activities with tangram, pattern block, and GSP is an effective teaching and learning method for the improvement of the spatial sense.

In the Western Philosophy that was centered on reason, sense has been belittled as a low level of conception under reason. However, the 21st century modern visual environment pushes away the epistemology centered on reason and puts 'sensuality' and 'sense' on its place. Especially, public films are one of the fields that rapidly reflect such changes and lead the changes. However, unfortunately, it is difficult to find such efforts that reflect the artistic and aesthetic significance of sense from the public films. It is because that sense is considered superficial and somewhat not real, while recognizing sense as the low level of conception under reason over the long history. Given the fact, this study reviews the by Gilles Deleuze, a modern philosopher who gives a new value on sense, and it would be meaningful to analyze the works of Chris Cunningham who makes films with the concept of Gilles Deleuze. After we analyzed three music videos of Aphex Twin directed by Chris Cunningham, we can ascertain that the films are based on body without Oranges, hysteric, and diagram that are suggested from by Gilles Deleuze. Analyzing recently released films centered on 'sense' in a superficial manner that includes production method or picture composition, including the films of Chris Cunningham, falls into the error of overlooking the director's aesthetics. Understanding the modern logic of sense that is newly developing, studying its substance, and analyzing the films will make a sacrifice of suggesting a new alternative.
