One of the reasons behind the surfacing of such issues is because the record does not exist and even if the records remained, it is because they are not being properly managed. In Korea, National institutions in the field of visual arts, currently there are no archives that manage only the records for the visual arts as an independent institution, and the reality is that the National Museum of Archives is still in the beginning stage as well. This study has conducted a research on the records collection strategy and the management of the record information of an author who is the creator of the visual arts as a starting point of the visual arts. For this purpose, the definition of visual arts and the concept of an author covered in this study will be examined and the types of documentary that may occur in the field of visual arts were analyzed. In addition, the history of an author is its personal record thus a personal history and private archive have been examined. Based on this background, the cases on the personal record and the management of the record information of domestic and foreign authors were analyzed and the implications were derived.

인간의 생각, 혹은 행동이나 경험을 통한 지식을 포함해서 데이터나 정보는 예술과 문화 영역에 새로운 관점을 일으키는 시각적 표현과 미디어 사이의 소통을 위한 수단이 되고 있다. 정보 와 데이터를 시각화 하는 방법은 예술의 형태를 통하여 다양하게 전개되어 왔다. 최근 예술에서 뉴미디어와 상호작용 기술의 적용은 다양한 데이터나 정보 수집을 통해 미적 표현의 가능성을 확장하거나, 관객이 작품에 능동적이고 직접적으로 참여할 수 있는 몰입 시청각 환경을 제공하며, 또한 직관적인 정보 시각화를 사용하여 상호작용적인 입체적 가상환경의 시공간 개념을 확장한다. 그러므로 관객은 수동적 수용자라기보다는 작품의 환경을 변화시키는 능동적 역할을 할 수 있다. 예술 및 디자인 영역에서 예술가의 뉴미디어 활용은 정보를 정적인 시각화 방법에서 디지털 기반 이미지 처리와 사용자 생성 시각화 방법으로 더욱 상호작용적이고 역동적인 표현으로 변형하고 있다. 미디어아트에서 시각화의 목적은 관객이나 사용자가 예술 작품에 존재하는 정보나 데이터 기반 콘텐츠를 더 쉽고 빠르게 이해하고 상호반응하도록 돕는 것이다. 본 연구는 미디어아트에서 정보나 데이터 시각화를 사용하여 작품과 관객 사이의 상호작용적 소통을 유발하는 다양한 시각적 표현 방법을 알아보기 위하여, 최근 미디어아트 사례들을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 분석 내용은 관객이 참여할 수 있는 시청각 설치 환경을 구성하는 다양한 상호작용 디자인 방법들을 작품에 적용함으로써 데이터나 정보를 시각화하는 방법, 예술 작품의 구성 요소로서 미적 표현들 생성에 관한 해석, 그리고 미디어아트를 완성하기 위한 실질적인 요인으로서 미디어아트와 관객 간의 상호작용적인 소통이 이루어지는 방법들을 포함한다. 이러한 분석들은 새로운 상호작용 시각 표현의 가능성을 제공하며, 관객이 최근 미디어아트를 미적 예술형식으로 이해하도록 도울 것이다.

전시 중심의 단기적 활용을 벗어나 일종의 문화유산으로 시각예술 아카이브를 관리하려는 움직임이 국가단위 또는 주요 기관간 컨소시엄의 형태로 활발히 진행 중인 해외 문화선진국의 사례와는 달리 국내 시각예술계는 아카이브 기반 전시나 프로젝트의 인기를 넘어서지 못하는 단편적 접근방식으로 아직 국가차원의 종합적인 비전이나 장기적인 전략을 창출해내지 못하고 있는 것이 우리의 현실이다. 국내 디지털 인프라의 선진성에 의지한 공공기관 주도 디지털 아카이브 사업에 대한 낙관적 전망도 몇몇 기관의 디지털 아카이브 구축 및 운영 경험을 통해 그 불투명성 및 위험성이 노출된 바 있다. 새 정부 출범 이후 국가정책을 지배하고 있는 창조경제 화두를 관통하는 핵심 키워드 중의 하나로서 시각예술 콘텐츠 자산의 근간인 국내 시각예술 아카이브의 경쟁력은 전면적으로 검토될 필요가 있다.

Since the 1990s, the role of the government has been shifting towards governance. This new governance emphasizes government's role in establishing a cooperative system with private organizations through network structure and interaction. In the 1990s, Korean Government support for artists and exhibitions increased unprecedentedly. In the 2000s, support for the arts shifted in ways so as to integrate genres. Simultaneously, in order to strengthen the creative capacities of artists, support for new artists, multi-art and fusion arts have increased. From 2010, 'visual arts' business support was provided. In addition, 'visual arts' was supported by a joint planning project from 2013 Also, an overseas residence program has actively supported exhibitions through international exchanges. Since 2005, it has expanded to cooperation with India, Iran and Asian countries as well as with the Betani Studio in Germany. In addition local government supported for artists and the Biennale, residences, regional cooperative business through the local cultural foundation.

The purpose of this study is to propose the direction for identification of artistically gifted children by considering the methods of it as a part of the basic study for artistically gifted children education. The result of study on the identification of artistically gifted children in literature, the identification methods are classified into the formal standardized art test, the informal test, and non-test measure. And they are considered and discussed laying importance on their characteristics and problems.

Generative AI, exemplified by models like ChatGPT, has revolutionized human-machine interactions in the 21st century. As these advancements permeate various sectors, their intersection with the arts is both promising and challenging. Despite the arts' historical resistance to AI replacement, recent developments have sparked active research in AI's role in artistry. This study delves into the potential of AI in visual arts education, highlighting the necessity of swift adaptation amidst the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This research, conducted at a 4-year global higher education institution located in Gyeongbuk, involved 70 participants who took part in a creative convergence module course project. The study aimed to examine the influence of AI collaboration in visual arts, analyzing distinctions across majors, grades, and genders. The results indicate that creative activities with AI positively influence students' creativity and digital media literacy. Based on these findings, there is a need to further develop effective educational strategies and directions that incorporate AI.

The purpose of this study is to explore the issues and alternatives in the promotion of space and exhibition support projects in visual arts, and to suggest an applicable direction of the government grant program. For this study, FGI and in-depth interviews were conducted in the direct beneficiaries of the grant program, the staff of the grant program, and the group of visual arts expert. As a result, the deliberation and selection of the support project should be carried out with sufficient time in consideration of the specificity of the support project. And the project requires to divide into two kinds of the projects based on the understanding of the social role and differentiation of non-profit exhibition spaces and private art museums. For the grant application and assessments, a long-term support is necessary to bring the capability and issues in efficient allocation of the budget, flexibility of budget item, and the budget shortfalls. Furthermore, the reliability between the grant program and beneficiaries needs to form a healthy partnership, and the evaluation criteria and eNARADOEUM system should be more practical and rationally established. Through this analysis, the implications of understanding the specificity of visual arts support projects, establishment of sustainable visual arts creation policies, and budget utilization were derived. Consequently, cultural and artistic support projects were directed to place more emphasis on efficiency than control, direction considering the position of consumers than suppliers, and long-term business planning rather than short-term perspective.

The aim of this study is to reveal a necessity of and a strategy for the integrated use and the single search across the visual arts resources. For this purpose, at first, analysis was made on the current situation of Korean visual art resource management and retrieval systems. Secondly, the single search methods and its related technological foundation in foreign art resource institutions were categorized and analysed. As a result, this study suggested foundation for creating a sustainable environment for collaboration and single search that enhance access to and use of art resources.

Stage art basically builds upon the essence of "seeing," and at the same time, possesses relativity in showing and seeing. Stage lighting uses artificial light to solve the essence of "seeing", which is the foundation of stage art, and coming into the modern age, its role has been enhanced to an important medium for visual expression in stage art, due to the lighting tools that developed at a rapid pace along with the discovery of electricity, as well as the development of optics. Therefore, not only does lighting use a medium known as light in a field of stage art that gives mental and emotional inspiration to the audience, and aesthetically expresses time and space. In other words, stage lighting is a complex function of light engineering (technology and science) and aesthetic sense (feeling and art). This study aims to do research on methods for the visualization of stage space through lighting, mainly focused on dancing. I have studied the basics of stage lighting, its relations with other fields of stage art, and the functions and characteristics of lighting. Results show that lighting could be used to maximize the visualization of dancing and emphasizing the artistic growth of lighting and its ability to aesthetically express and I came to the following conclusions. First, lighting uses the forms and directions of light that various tools are able to produce in order to visualize the space on stage, and can maximally express the image that the work seeks. Second, it is possible to use lighting, through the movement of light, as a visual representation of the configuration of space in dancing works. Third, through the expression of visual and spatial aspects created by light, the work's dramatic catharsis can bring out mental and emotional feelings form the audience. Fourth, lighting can be seen not as a supporting role, but as an original visual design. To conclude, in order for lighting to be freed form the simple function of "lighting up the stage," which a majority of people think is common knowledge, and grow as one area in art, lighting designers must understand the intentions of the choreographer and the work with creativity and artistry they must consider light and color as an aesthetic language in order to heighten the effects of the work and allow it to partake as one element of work creation, so that lighting will be treated as a form of art.
